The accommodations are beautiful. Juan, Lulu and MaryEllen are terrific hosts. Breakfast was always fresh and delicious and Juan would give us great advice when we would tell him where we were going for the day. Parking was free and right outside the entrance. There is a refrigerator in the common area to keep our drinks and dinner leftovers cold. Loved the pool and the air conditioning onthe hot days. There is a convenience store super close and only a 15 minute walk to Plaza Grande and all the shops and great restaurants.

The wife signal was strong, but the internet provider was unreliable. Juan said he is changing providers. We used our phone “hotspot” for our internet devices.

The property is beautiful and quiet, and the pool is nice and clean. The bed is super comfortable, and we slept well. The breakfast is great and different every day, and I especially liked the one on the third day! The host is friendly and will greet you all the time!

The key to the front gate is not given to you, which means you have to ring the bell every time you come back. The host will always be there to open the door for you, but we feel bad that they have to stay at home all the time as guests could come back at any time. Perhaps they could use a password lock or install a surveillance camera on the gate if security is an issue. Additionally, the shower water is either too hot or too cold; you can't adjust the water temperature. This makes the shower experience not that pleasant.

Lovely B&B run by a delightful family who ensured we had a fabulous stay. They were very friendly and eager to help. They even made a great recommendation for a last minute car hire, which worked out cheaper than what we had been quoted elsewhere and the whole process was painless, which if you have ever rented a car in Mexico, you know that is seldom the case. The rooms are behind the main house on two floors beside the pool, which is great for a cooling dip. It was very quiet and peaceful. Rooms are spotlessly clean, beautifully and cheerfully decorated and the beds are very comfortable. The shower has great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Breakfasts were delicious and varied with fresh fruit,yoghurt, muesli, freshly cooked eggs and lots of good coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return.

Being a B&B, you need to ring the bell to enter and that made me a little uncomfortable late at night but our hostess seemed unphased. The location is near the zoo so it's a fairly long walk to the zocalo and most of the bars and restaurants.

Breakfast is fair. One leaves satisfied. It could probably be improved with a little larger portions and perhaps adding some beans to the scrambled eggs. Location is about ten blocks from the city center. This might look inconvenient but has the advantage that it faces a tranquil street which does not happen anymore in the overpopulated town center.

At shower, cold and hot water would be better if they could be adjusted. You either have one or the other. During our stay, this wasn't an inconvenient since we took cool refreshing showers. Climate is so hot that hot water in the shower is not essential. The sink needs to be repaired so that dirty water flows quickly.

We liked the hosts, they were very friendly and English speaking. The house was very clean and quiet. Corner store nearby. The beds were comfy. The room was nice with AC. The coffee was good. There was a small swimming pool you could use to cool down.

I liked everything, but there is always room for improvement. Breakfast was a bit monotonous with scrambled eggs every day. More bread could be served for people who are not an egg lovers. There could be some paper, a pen and little helpful things in the room, like glasses for a drink.

Variety of meal offerings each day. Recommend for vegetarians. The organic coffee was perfect to start the day each morning poolside. The taste was so rich that it didn’t require cream. Ambient music at breakfast was a nice addition. Juan and Lulu were genuinely interested in the quality of our experience and made sure we had everything we needed. Very home-like, yet not intrusive with regard to privacy.

At times, the water in the shower wasn’t overly hot if you are one who prefers to be scalded. However, in a climate with high temps like Mérida, scalding showers are likely uncommon. This is a small thing. The water pressure was fantastic! Water temp did not deter from my experience overall.

Lovely welcome by this family run place. I received a quiet room with airco etc and was very happy about my stay. Breakfast was delicious. I would stay here again

It was a heatwave those days and walking to the centre was a little challenging at times but still… definitely worth a visit and stay

Wonderful hosts who clearly care that their guests have a wonderful experience. Beds are comfortable; neighborhood is quiet and easily accessible to the much busier center. Plaza nearby has great food, Lupita's Tacos and other.

The room and property we’re comfortable, clean and well-appointed. The owners are wonderful and made me feel very welcome!

Everything about the property was great! I enjoyed being close to the Parque/Mercado de Santiago and being in a more residential neighborhood. Just do your research and be aware that you are not right next to the Plaza.
