Meriem has been absolutely amazing! Masterfully she made our stay at the Riad very comfortable with her warm and friendly nature, offering us tea and cakes upon our arrival (and day after day thereafter), we felt very comfortable and at home with everything else. She was very helpful throughout our stay at the Riad answering any questions we had. The Riad itself was stunning and smelt amazing with spacious rooms, a mystery remains in how it was peacefully quiet indoors amidst the Medina, with stunning views from the roof top, it’s a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend staying at this Riad.

We cannot rate the Riad Sidrat highly enough. The interior of the building is beautifully maintained with the original style and features - all of which we loved. The bed was extremely comfortable; the room spacious; the bathroom traditionally Moroccan with a good shower and lashings of hot water; the breakfast of omelettes, fresh fruit and juice, yoghurt, local style breads and pastries was excellent! Add to that the amazing staff who could not do enough to make sure our stay was perfect and we had our dream trip! The hotel is situated in the Medina, which was great fun to explore and get lost in, but amazingly, most of the stall-holders spoke French and English so we always managed to get back to the hotel. We felt very safe and comfortable walking around, and enjoyed exploring the Medina - in fact we are already wondering when we could go back!

Riad Sidrat Fes was a great stay - the location is only a short walk from the main gate in Fes, so it is easy to get to on foot even with baggage since cars cannot come inside the medina. It is also close to one of the more main streets of the medina, so it felt easy to navigate in and out each day. The room was comfortable and quiet, and it was convenient having the toilet and shower be in separate rooms since my friend and I were sharing a room. The breakfast was great, and the main host of the Riad was helpful in getting us a guide for our first day in Fes - he was great and took us all around to the different sights around the city. The host was also super helpful as me and my friend were quite sick during our stay, and she was super accommodating in sending extra cleaning support to our room, and helping us find pharmacies and providing other help. I would recommend Riad Sidrat Fes to anyone I know looking to stay in the medina in Fes.

I loved the Riad Sidrat Hotel in Fes. The owner, Meryem, welcomed me with a cup of mint tea, which is the specialty of the region. And she gave me good guidance on what things I should see in Fes, and the best ways to see them. The breakfast was one of my best ever. Mohamed, the breakfast guy, put a total of fifteen small items on the table every morning. During my stay, I only managed to finish the entire breakfast once. The most memorable thing of all was the tremendous architecture of the hotel. It is like a miniature version of the Alhambra in Spain, exactly like the photos on the website. I got the feeling that my stay would have been similar to that of a traveller staying in the hotel centuries ago. One very small downside is that, in order to preserve the wonderful ambience, the bathroom was traditional and the stairs were quite narrow, but this didn’t bother me at all. If you want a hotel with the full Moroccan feel, this is it.

It is just beautiful! You step in and the world is transported to an Arabian nights feel. The architecture is something else! The courtyards were very welcoming. Climbing up the stairs was a big hard especially with sore knees but it was still worth it! The location is also really close to the parking lot so not too hard to find. It isn’t deep in the medina but on the edge. Meryem was just a wonderful host. So welcoming with a beautiful smile. I asked for many things and she just accommodated my requests. We had to leave early in the morning and couldn’t have breakfast so she arranged some food to take with us. The bedroom was just something. It was so comfy.

Apart from having to climb the stairs there was nothing. The room was small but the size is clearly stated. I have nothing bad to say about my stay. Only wish we stayed longer. I would have spent one day just sitting in the courtyard drinking tea and eating biscuits!

This was one of the most beautiful Riads and the decor would set you back in a time machine. The host and people at this Riad were so so amazing and helpful. I even booked a 1 day tour to Volubis and Meknes from here which I would say is truly recommended. The Riad is located inside the Medina so most places are like 2 to 8 mins walk away from restaurants, souks and Medina. The beds were really comfy and the host gave me a choice to pick up a room which I like, the bathroom was so pretty 😍 and clean and well maintained all the time. The Breakfast omg was seriously the best I had in whole of Morrocco, so fresh and many options from Eggs, to bread to jams to juice, yogurt, fresh fruits etc. Really delicious and home made. Overall it would be unjust to just rate a place like this 10, it deserves a 💯. Thanks to the Team of Riad Sidrat Fes to make my stay so memorable in Fes and whole of Morrocco.

there's absolutely nothing about this place that you won't like.

This riad is so beautiful, you will feel like you are living in a small palace! The architecture and the decoration of the inside building is amazing. The location is perfect (close to the blue gate), the breakfast was really generous and tasty. Our room was so beautiful! One day we left early for a day trip and they prepared us a small breakfast that we could take with us, which we really appreciated.

That we didn’t stay longer. Maybe a welcoming tea would have been nice but the truth is that we arrived very late in the evening, so we didn’t have big expectations

The most beautiful Riad we have ever stayed in. It is like a sanctuary right in the middle of Fes Medina, we felt like we could sit in the courtyard for hours to enjoy all the intricate details. On top of that, the rooms were very spacious with very comfortable beds (we had some of the best sleep here). Very lovely staff, and breakfast was delicious as well. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Fes!

Nothing- everything was perfect! Sadly we missed breakfast on our second day (due to early pick up for desert tour) because they only start serving food after 8am.

This is absolute the best experience to stay in this Riad, it's a museum, even better than picture, which a super exciting to us. I would recommend to everyone who wants to travel to Fez. I would give 10+++ score for it. This room can easily sold $300 per night in US. The staff/service all great. Location was great Also price to value is high.

There are couple days no hot water to shower in the morning, but they fixed at afternoon. Also internet seems slow, but we had phone data working.

The property is stunning, and very comfortable. We were well looked after by hosts Miriam and Mohammed who could not have done more to make our stay a pleasant one. The location is excellent, just off one of the main streets, but very quiet - a haven from the buzz of the medina. The room and public areas were very well appointed, and all the staff we encountered were polite, friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast with attentive service. I would recommend this property and would certainly like to stay there again soon.
