Lovely staff, great location! veeeery nice food, we got all the starters to try and they made a delicious vegetable tajin (on request). Water and tea for free!

Just to inform people visiting in summer: no bikini allowed, so swimming up but covered up. probably in the description, but we missed it beforehand.

Lovely property tucked away in just above the main part of village. Staff were very helpful with any arrangements for a trek and transfers. We had a guided walk and lunch arranged. We had a lovely dinner in the property in the evening.

There’s some renovation work going on around the pool. When we booked we were told this would be finished by September. So worth checking in on progress this if the pool is important to you. Also worth noting requirements for attire in pool (for women) although it’s on mentioned their own website it isn’t clear on the booking.com description.

Like a hidden oasis Riad Jnane is a perfect spot to relax either by the pool or on the 3 different terrace areas to take in the views. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The food was not only generous servings but delicious. We enjoyed it so much we had dinner there both nights. All the staff were very helpful and took great care of us. Ismail arranged a valley hike & packed lunch with local friendly multilingual guide Omar. Who took us 5hrs up the valley via a Berber Village returning past the big waterfall and a smaller one. Which ironically is very close to the accommodation but you’d need a guide to show you the way, as the paths are not always obvious. Tips: We found we had to run the water for quite sometime before the hot came through - otherwise great shower The Riad is not visible from the main road. You will see a sign pointing down a path, where it’s situated about a 2min walk. Make sure you contact them 5-10 mins prior to arrival and will have someone waiting to guide you to their secure car park (if req.) and collect your bags.

Nothing it was great

The riad was really relaxing. Mustapha and Ismail, made my wife and I with our three teenager children feel very welcome. The views from the riad were breathtaking from the main terrace looking up the valley with mountain views. Also they had two roof terraces higher up to lounge and chill. The top one with incredible 360 views. The location was perfect as situated on the edge of the village so you could easily walk to shops/restaurants. ( unlike other places to stay around the valley which were more isolated. ) There is a short 2 minute walk from the road to reach the riad but you are greeted with a wonderful serene atmosphere, and the friendly staff there will bring your luggage if arriving by car. The other bonus was the swimming pool, which few places in Imlil have. So after a 5 hour hike up the valley to a pass, which Mustapha arranged with a friendly experienced local guide Omar, it was great to come back to and jump in. There is also a short 30 minute walk up from the riad, to some small waterfalls, which is worth the walk up.

This place is a pure gem, the room was beautifully decorated, well equipped and clean, staff so friendly and helpful, breakfast was delightful and I simply loved the wonderful terrace when enjoying an evening drink, which had stunning views of the mountains. Yes, it's a little off the beaten track but they will happily meet you at the main road to collect your luggage, and yes you will pay a bit more than some places in the town, but it was so worth paying that little bit extra for the quality and service you recieve. A truely memorable stay and the best place I stayed in on my tour around Morocco, just wish I could have stayed a bit longer.

The only thing I could fault, and wasn't a big thing was the WiFi, which although strong, occasionally kept cutting in and out.

This is a lovely riad with plenty of terraces overlooking a green valley with river and view of snow capped Jebel Toubkal. We had a beautiful and spacious room for 3 people. The breakfast and dinner were delicious. Lots of attention to detail like Moroccan slippers and a gallabea to wear to the spa or cold evenings. The spa treatment was invigorating and a must to try. Lovely pool with waterfall and lots of sunbeds and cosy shady areas to sit when to hot. The riad is walking distance to the small town of Imlil.

Once again I found that the riads in Morocco have increased their prices a lot but the attention to small details are not always there. The price for Riad Jnane was to steep. Guest toilet on the top terrace had no towel, soap or toilet paper and the toilet was dirty. The terrace cushions were taken away when it started drisling but not put back into place afterwards.

Riad Jnane is a little gem in Imlil, with amazing views and walking distance to the centre. The room was very clean, with comfy beds and beautifully decorated (looked even better than the pictures). The downstairs lounge was very cosy as well, with a fireplace and Moroccan sofas, perfect after a mountain hike. The staff was very attentive and helpful throughout our stay. And the freshly made Moroccan breakfast and dinners were simply delicious! Great stay overall, would definitely recommend

Can't park at the hotel and there's a 2 minute walk uphill from the main road. But the hotel offers complimentary porters if you have luggage which is great.

The room was beautiful with amazing views. It was great to wake up with the view of the Toubkal. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. (Don't be afraid to ask them if there is something they can do to make your stay more enjoyable as they will always try to accommodate) Great location for hiking base camp if you want to explore the surrounding mountainous area. Beautiful waterfalls and locations for tagine in the mountains within 30-40 minute hike. Will be staying again Insh'Allah. Imlil is an amazing place and if you haven't experienced it yet then you are missing out ! Book it.

Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The Riad has beautiful views over the valley, and we really enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor areas after a morning hiking. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious and plentiful. Mustapha, Ismail and the team were incredible and helped us with activities and onwards transfers. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!

There was some construction work going on during the day which we weren’t warned about when we made our booking which was a shame.

Beautiful riad in an amazing location. Staff are really friendly and welcoming. Room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Food was delicious, on our second night we had beef and prune tagine (this was my favourite meal of our 10 day trip to Morocco!) - really tasty, very good breakfast too, oh and amazing fresh dates! Stunning views from the terrace! Great hiking for all levels on your doorstep and just the most fabulous scenery all around you! To top it off (being a cat lover) bonus of two adorable kittens living at the riad, who were born the night of the recent earthquake. To note Imlil is very much open and welcoming tourists following the earthquake in Sept 😊
