We stayed in four different places during our trip to Morocco, and this one was our favorite for so many reasons: • Food: We had the best tajines here. You can tell that all the ingredients are fresh and handled with care. The flavors were even better than some high-end restaurants we visited in Morocco. • Staff: The staff were incredibly friendly. We also had the pleasure of speaking with the owners, who were absolutely lovely. • Room: The room was clean and tastefully decorated. • Location: It’s just a 45-minute taxi ride from Marrakech Airport, tucked away in a small, peaceful village—a little slice of heaven. The quiet surroundings made it perfect for stargazing; we even saw the Milky Way! • Animals: The animals were such a delightful addition. The cats and dogs were very well-behaved and added so much charm to the experience. • Facilities: Although it gets a bit cool at night, they have fireplaces, which made it cozy. We loved sitting by the fire with the adorable cats on our laps. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor seating areas.

One small drawback is that the pool is located next to the horses and donkeys, which means there are quite a few flies. They were a bit bothersome when lounging by the poolside.

Perfect place for everyone who likes animals, nature and delicious homemade meals! We felt very welcomed since the first moment. All the food was so delicious (Im still thinking about the yummy chicken tagine with figs!). Our daughter enjoyed meeting all the animals many times per day and Im sure I will still hear “baby horse” for a long time ;) Thank you again, Robert, for offering us to change the room, it was perfect and for taking time to talk with us and answearing the questions we were curious about. See you soon!

It's a beautiful place, loved the accommodation. Great swimming pool, very friendly and helpful staff, helpful owner, fantastic food, especially the lunch. The farm animals are a great bonus. We rented a Pavillion for four and a double room (traveling with three kids). The pictures and description don't do it justice. The pavillion actually has two rooms and two bathrooms, all very nicely decorated and luxurious soft linen, thick walls that keep it cool even when it's hot, large private area in front of the pavilion with a fridge to keep water or other food cool. The double room was set in a charming little courtyard. All done with lots of care.

If anything the fact that you are in a bit of a compound. Don't expect to go eat out on the fly because all the restaurants in the area work on a reservation-only basis. The town next to Jnane Tihihit is a bit of a slum, especially after the earth quake, but it probably wasn't great before either, without paved roads in the town. Hopefully the community will (re)build as it is currently a bit of a sad sight, with people living in temporary tents. Other than that it's a beautiful area. Don't expect a cheap stay btw, the prices are European. A three-day stay set us back some 1200 euros including food, but this was also due to the fact that we rented a second room for our oldest (they offered to place an extra bed in the Pavillion but we preferred an extra room).

Little paradise on earth, close to Marrakech! We spend 4 nights with our two kids (one of 3 years old and our baby) and we had a wonderful time. I could cry thinking about it. We are definitely coming back!! Just walking around the place is a delight, the food is delicious, the staff is so friendly and there are so many animals and fruit trees and flowers ... it's stunning. Even more beautiful than the photo's here give away. The farm is 'self sustainable' so what you eat, comes directly from the land. And let's not forget about the view!!!! While you're on the terrace or at the natural swimming pool, you get blue skies and incredible views of the atlas mountains, with snow peaks. There are a lot of activities you can do; horse riding, donkey ride for smaller children, hiking, visiting Agafay dessert and watching the sunset, cooking class, learning how to make goat cheese.. and if you want to get into the city of Marrakech, you can, it's about 45 min away. You don't need to book a riad in the medina of Marrakech if your departure time is during the night or early morning. They fix you a taxi anyway! But if you really want to, the owners have a riad aswell, Dar Touyir

+INGRIDIENTS: chicken meat, goat meat, duck meat, fresh eggs, fresh pomegranate juice, fresh orange juice, lemonade, fresh milk, cheese at breakfast, figue jam, orange jam, all the vegetables they cook with- ALL THAT COMES FROM THIS FARM! That is so impressive and such a rarity these days. +FOOD: beautiful, tasty, special 10* +comfortable large bed at least 180x200 cm +pillows comfortable, bedding natural fabric, duvet large and cozy +you feel relaxed and safe 100%. We never locked our room. +STAFF: polite, friendly, hardworking, really doing everything to please their guests +THE OWNERS: a lovely welcoming couple who made their vision to reality. Impressive to see that farm which is over 20 years of work. +POOL area is relaxing. Unheated pool. +Activities. We milked a cow. Saw a freshly born horse. Absolutely wonderful place for kids.

Nothing at all. *Only an info: You can book half board or eat a la carte. I wished we would have known the possibility to book half board which would have been more suitable for us. I only found it out at the check out by reading through the brochure. No TV in the rooms. WiFi didn't work at least during our stay.

Everything about this place is magical, the ethos, the mountain views, the animals and the team! We travelled with our toddler, they provided a cot and nothing was too much trouble - warm milk for her every night, when we asked for a small bath as she is scared of the shower, no problem! We walked to the lake along the dried river path, worth doing in the evening sun, the animals everywhere were incredible, our daughter made friends with the baby goats the peacock the donkeys, the cats! It's wonderful for animal loving kids! The pool is refreshing and the food out of this world and all (mostly) grown on site. If your vibe is agritourismo and you want to escape for some very chilled zen time this is perfect. We enjoyed feeling out in the middle of nowhere most days and when we wanted to explore a bit further we took a trip arranged by the team over to the mountain valley but honestly could have holed ourselves up here for another week at least!

Best farm experience in Morocco. Cool owners that really make you feel at home and like family. Open door policy to their animals which is so cool! We felt super comfortable and welcomed. They have a lot of animals like cows, horses, donkeys, goats, dogs, cats, sheeps, chickens, turkeys, etc. All their staff is really sweet and strive to do their best. They also offer cool activities like milking cows and goats, making cheese, camel rides, horse back riding, Moroccan cooking class, activities for kids…They have heaters for winter time and hot water all year round for warm showers. I really loved it and highly recommend it!!!

I would update/change the bedsheets

Exceptional in every way. We will certainly be coming back! A truly unique and special place with lots to experience and explore. Perfect for our one year old who loved the farm, children’s play house and bread making! Food absolutely wonderful for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Very friendly and helpful girl on reception who was able to advise on activities on offer and walks to the lake.

I travelled with my partner (both 25y, from England in April) and stayed for two nights. It was the most peaceful, relaxing place we have ever been! Great views, great staff, great food. I would really recommended this for anyone looking for maximum chill out- I will definitely be going back!! Also would like to point out that the pictures do not do this place justice, the little houses are lush and there is a whole entire orchard of pomegranate trees that you can sit between in the sun

Nothing. It is worth noting that this is very remote, if you don’t have a car you wont be eating out, you’ll be eating the (delicious) food prepared from the stay’s kitchen so factor this into your budget. I think its around £10 ish per meal (3 courses), well worth it!! Nicest food we had in Morocco (and good veggie options).

A fabulous place to stay. In fact, we found it even much better than expected. Extremely nice staff, great little huts in the middle of the farm. The food was excellent. It is wonderful how lovingly this farm was built and maintained. We were also able to take an exciting trip to the Atlas Mountains and small villages with our own car. Highly recommended!

Nothing, it is perfect.
