The location is just outside (<5 min walk) the Medinah which makes it easy to access both the Medinah and transport (the airport, train station). The building is very attractive inside and comfortable. The host is lovely, helpful, and generous. The roof garden is a very pleasant place for a day time break from the chaos or a late evening drink. I would thoroughly recommend this venue.

A little bit of noise from the road for the bedrooms at the front, but it is in Marrakech.

Dar Tasnime is very centrally located, within a 15 minute walk of the main square and souks. Despite this proximity to the hustle and bustle of Marrakech, it’s a welcome oasis of calm and quiet. Once you step into the courtyard it really is like entering another world. The twin room which I shared with my daughter was small but comfortable for our one-night stay, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast next morning was an added bonus and a great way to start the day. For a small fee (€5 per bag) we were able to leave our luggage safely after checking out, which allowed us some extra time to explore Marrakech before departure. Dar Tasnime also arranged a shuttle to the airport for €12, which got us there in plenty of time for an evening flight.

Not a gripe, but when we arrived by taxi it wasn’t easy to see how to get into Dar Tasnime. We accidentally went into the hotel next door and a kind young man guided us to the correct entrance, which is always kept shut.

The location, the food, the accessibility, the parking, the organization, the help from the owner, everything was on the highest level! The owner helped us with renting a car and giving us recommendations. We had an early morning excursion planned so he packed our breakfast in bags for takeaway. That was really thoughtful. Also, we felt very safe in the riad, left our room open, etc. The terrace is amazing for chilling. The surrounding is quite for sleeping but yet very close to the centre and the Medina. Definitely recommend!

Honestly, there were no flaws.

I LOVED staying at Dar Tasnime. From the very beginning, communication with Chakib was smooth and responsive. The check-in process was smooth. Chakib was the best host ever! Very accommodating but not overbearing. Also very kind with assisting our special requests (early breakfast, late shower, etc.). The Dar only has 6 rooms, so you'll find it very calm and quiet. The location was also nice! Because it's near enough to the medina by walking, but not exactly inside the medina. This helps eliminate the noise at night and also the need for taxis to go to the center, perfect! The room was also spacious and clean as well as the bathroom. If I go back to Marrakesh, I'd definitely stay again in Dar Tasnime :)

Nothing that I didn't like. If I have to nitpick, since we stayed for 5 nights, the breakfast could be more varied with more protein, like eggs, etc. instead of just carbs/sugar every morning. But I guess that's the traditional breakfast, so won't be complaining too much.

I cannot speak more highly of this stay and Chakib who is the consummate host. The location was perfect. Just outside the Medina which made it super easy for pickup and drop off. Yet close enough to walk to the main square Jemaa El-Fnaa within minutes. The accommodation was clean, quiet, with excellent hot water, a comfortable bed, beautifully scented toiletries. The daily breakfast was generous and catered for different tastes. I appreciated the laundry service and airport shuttle which were easily arranged for an additional charge. Thank you Chakib for making me feel so at home.

Nothing! I would stay here again and in fact tried to rebook for my return to Marrakech but due to its well deserved popularity it was already booked out.

The property was beautiful and very well maintained. The location was amazing and just a quick walk to the bustling square and mosque. Chakib, owner and manager, was very friendly and welcoming. We only had a one night stay but everything was so comfortable. Chakib knew we were going to be departing early in the morning and we would miss out on breakfast. But he went out of his way early morning to pick us up breakfast to take with us as we were leaving. This was very heart warming and very much appreciated. Highly recommend to stay in Dar Tasnime.

Stayed at the hotel during the visit for GITEX Africa. The host was absolutely brilliant, helped a lot with late arrival, recommendations of sights, and overall was extremely welcoming. The riad is located within the walking distance of Koutoubia, with taxis&buses nearby, and within the walking distance to much points of interests. The room was nice, and what I especially appreciated, extremely quiet. The room was clean, wi-fi was good, and there was a complimentary bottle of water upon arrival. There's a nice rest area on the roof. Breakfast was great and very local. Overall, much recommended, especially considering a very good price.

Great location of the road. It’s not inside Medina and it’s easy to reach it via car, park a car. Nice and cozy inside, very clean, comfortable room in general, comfortable bed. Really nice bathroom. Tasty breakfast full of local specialties. Very supportive and welcoming owner Chakib. It was a pleasant stay before leaving Morocco.

Beautiful property. Very accommodating host replied quickly to messages about parking and late check in prior to arrival. Very clean comfortable room and en suite with nice toiletries. Beautiful roof terrace. Good breakfast and our host very kindly also provided take away breakfast for our son who we were collecting from the airport. Gave helpful advice about exchanging money. Would definitely stay again. Bottle of water waiting in our room . Allowed us to check in late. Spoke beautiful English. Thank you!

Everything, this place was amazing. Great location. Mr Chakib was really kind and welcoming and he made sure that our staying was cozy and recommended a great Hammam place. It is really cozy and look authentic like a cute castle. Also it is great that there are not a lot of rooms which kind of make it quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was really good and service impecable. Totally recommend this place for your stay in Marrakech.
