The food was very good and the staff very kind, always available to respond to our questions and needs. It is a great project to welcome people while taking care of nature.

We were not used to living without full connection and hot water all the time. Some ants in the bed. But nothing serious.

Our stay at the eco-lodge was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm hospitality. The accommodation was beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly in tune with nature. The food was delicious, showcasing local flavors and fresh ingredients. One of the highlights was definitely the swimming pool, which was a great place to relax and enjoy the serene surroundings. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was Ibrahim. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, always with a smile and a friendly attitude. Ibrahim's attention to detail and genuine care for the guests made a real difference.

It was so relaxing that it felt like staying at home, but without the chores! And with waaaay more sunshine! It is so peaceful, very remote, the staff were warm and friendly but didn't linger and make you feel uncomfortable like some hotels I have been to in the past. They were fantastic. In the grounds, there's a lot of wildlife, mostly birds, a few cats, and the most friendly and playful dog who takes his job patrolling the perimeter of the Hotel and keeping people 'safe' very seriously! The food at the restaurant was also fantastic and with a, no menu, you get what the chef decides, approach it was wonderful to not have to choose my food for a change! My decision fatigue got much better! Breakfast was wonderful too, with fresh breads and fruits every day. Hiking from here is pretty fun, and almost all on the flat so it doesn't feel like too much of a slog. The skies are beautiful, and you get an amazing view of the Atlas mountains and the Noor power station, which looks like a beautiful static lighthouse poking out of the desert against a mountainous backdrop. We stayed a week and would have happily, happily stayed longer!

There wasn't much to dislike! But if I had to say anything it would probably be the hot water schedule- I just couldn't get used to it! It's an ecolodge so power is used conservatively. It's no bad thing the hot water and electricity are on schedule rather than on demand, but I struggled with it and just didn't get used to it! I think that's a 'me' problem though, not the hotel!

Ecolodge l'Ile de Ouarzazate is a nice respite from dust and smog of Ouarzazate city. You can enjoy well maintained, magic garden, views towards mountains and the lake at the horizont, the sky full of stars over your head in the night. The food was delicious, the room very spacious, the staff very helpful and kind. Very recommandable if you want to escape noise and smog of maroccian cities and enjoy fresh air, silence and beatiful nature.

The place is a bit remote and difficult to arrive to - but worth it.

The moment we entered man who greet us introduced the place as second home and we really felt like it that way. The place it self is amazing - clean, green and beautifull. It lies in the suburbs of the town but it makes the place very quiet and cosy. During the night there is perfect visibility of stars in the sky. The employees intorduced us to their culture while sitting by a fire in the night. Restaurant serves amazing food and provided everything we needed and more. We will come back for sure

Really liked the stay here only because of one staff member Brahim. He was very friendly and approachable anytime we needed help with anything. We went as a family and was very apprehensive as was in a group with little children. He was very welcoming and was very professional overall hence felt very comfortable and safe the whole trip. Children loved the pool.

Location can be difficult to get to places as nothing is in a walkable distance.

The room was large and comfortable, with an alcove where we could have the cot for our daughter. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good. The grounds and pool were great and it was very peaceful at night. They also had beer.

The drive to the Ecolodge takes a while due to the type of road, meaning it's a 20 minute drive or so to the rest of town. When we left, we discovered that we had orange marks on our skin and some of our clothes were also stained, which I think must be something in the water.

Lovely, peaceful location, Spacious rooms, excellent breakfast and friendly service. Food served was fantastic.

Shower in our room didn't work properly, consistently getting cold water in the shower, which was was attempted to be fixed but everyday there was a problem. A mistake on owner's booking system where they were trying to get us to pay more. Did feel like the owner was always trying to get us to pay more for things, which is a shame. The lodge write up says there are lake view rooms and 3 pools which is not the case. This needs to be re written as there is no visible lake and only 1 pool. .

Absolutely the best place I have ever stayed. I have never felt more welcome or at home staying somewhere than I did whilst staying at the eco-lodge. Everything about the stay was perfect the hosts, the service the lovely homemade food and to top it all off the beautiful views and of course the lovely dog CESAR!!! Would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Ouarzazate or near by you will not be disappointed! 10/10 - Place 10/10 - Food 10/10 - Service 10/10 - Hosts and staff

Nothing was a perfect stay!

The location was very relaxing. I left feeling well rested. Part of this was the very low key, gentle hospitality. In some places, they can be over the top, but Nourddine was very quiet and checked in with me often in a caring and kind way. But... The highlight was the food. I arrived very tired wanting easy known food. So when Nourddine said "we do things a little differently", I was initially disappointed as I just needed low brain power familiar food. However the meal they served me was very refined and beautifully presented. Almost fine dining level of presentation. The Berber eggs for breakfast were great too. I decided to stay one extra night and I asked Nourddine if dinner would be the same. He looked a little embarrassed to say "yes", because they didn't know I was staying two nights. After the meal he said "I am sorry it was the same", then I smiled to say "no, I was asking because I wanted the same again!". Honestly, the food here is great. Thank you Nourddine and team.

Two things really: There was a lot of banging and construction work during the day when I was trying to sleep. And the shower in my room had a broken holder for the shower so it could be put on the wall, but would then be angled sideways and not down, so it needed to be held in my hand. This is by no means unusual in Morocco and the bathroom was clean and the water hot, so just a minor point.
