The room was clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kathmandu. They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 10am. We got to hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend there. Overall, I had a great experience with the HA. staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to stay. They have own tour company in hotel premises which helped me to book the short trek to Annapurna.

nepali people, in their nature, are very hospitable, so basically you're welcomed and nicely treated in every place you go... but some places are really worth it every cent and every second, as hotel amaryllis does. ideally located right at the entrance in thamel, in a very quiet area, you reach the hotel quickly, from wherever you come from (airport or durbar square etc.), but this, of course, is not all. completely refurbished and modernized, amaryllis welcomes you in its best shape, at an unbeatable price. comfy beds, squicky clean bedsheets, and sparking clean rooms really make you want to stay some more and more :) and then there is the staff, very friendly and helpful, genuinely friendly and helpful, and also very professional — whatever need you have, they'll fulfil it as fast as they can (well, don't ask them for the moon in the sky!) last, but not least, the food — that cook they have there seriously hampers your efforts to find nice eating places around thamel, because... well, you already have one of the best, at amaryllis :) will i come back? guaranteed! and i'll definitely stay longer.

what i didn't like? the fact that i had a very short stay... but i'm going to mend this next time, when for sure I'll book for longer. i hope to return there in spring 2024... ah, i'm already day-dreaming...

Location wise hotel is located main tourist hub in Thamel.I was impressed by the staffs members,they were very very attentive and helpful.Excellent breakfast was served in morning I loved Amaryllis breakfast set.Room was newly renovated with new mattress and all furniture was new,so very clean and big enough room,with very high pressure of hot water.They have a beautiful mini garden with different varieties of blooming flowers,which you really felt like home.We would highly recommend this hotel for your pleasant stay in Kathmandu.

Everything was perfect.

The hotel is at an excellent location in the heart of central Kathmandu. You can explore the area easily by walking The hotel is a cozy place with few rooms Mr. Resham the manager at the reception was extremely helpful. He gave me a lot of intel about restaurants, massage places, and other services in the city.

It is a little bit old

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing. This hotel is newly renovated. Rooms are cozy, clean and well maintained. Tea coffee maker in Room. 24 Hours hot shower and staff are very friendly. They serve great breakfast in the morning and they also arrange for our short hiking and we are really impressed by their service and hospitality.

We had a very very wonderful stay.All staffs were very friendly and helpful and always there for you.Room was nice neat and clean, specially hot water available 24 hour.Hotel also located at the prime location in thamel.They have a travel information center also which can help for tour and trekking service for tourist.So I would love to come back again.Thank you.

The staff was great, the breakfast was phenomenal and huge! It’s centric if you want to stay in Thamel.

It could have been slightly cleaner, for example one day house cleaning didn’t come. To be honest, we still enjoyed it though!

It was in a great area. Walking distance to restaurants, bars and shops. The room and bed was comfortable enough for two. Room service was great and they have a lovely courtyard outside you can sit and have a drink in. The staff were super helpful and lovely.

The shower holder was broken but the shower was hot and still worked, we just had to hold it.

The hotel is ideally situated in Tamel district, also at walking distance from Durbar Square. The host is really nice, always willing to help, and i loved the Indian breakfast. The rooms are big, clean, have good beds and are equipped with mosquito windows to avoid unwelcome guests :)

We like this hotel so much , stuff is very friendly , if you need help they do the best. Room was so clear and very cosy , food tasty and if you sont like spicy they will recommend you the better choice., 100% we are comeback here again. I recommend to everyone this Hotel ☺️☺️☺️☺️
