Very friendly staff, brand new hotel, close to public transport, nice bikes to rent, very special capsule hotel experience, with private bathroom and toilet. much cheaper than other hotels in Amsterdam.

We had a great stay at Diamond Capsule in Amsterdam! Staff were lovely and very welcoming, you are provided with complementary coffee, juice, and croissants in the morning which we appreciated, and although the rooms are small, they are cosy and kept exceptionally clean. Keep in mind when booking that this is a fair distance from the centre of Amsterdam - it is a 10-15 minute walk to the nearest tram station, and from there you will need to catch a tram and a train to reach the centre, which ended up being around 50 minutes of travel in total, but this did not bother us too much! All in all, I would recommend Diamond Capsule if you are looking for more affordable (but still very nice) accommodation around Amsterdam.

Very clean and modern room. Very nicely equipped bathroom. I stayed in the room with a window overlooking the pond, so the the room was bright and cosy. Comfortable bed. Interesting shiny grey walpapers, probably to compensate the limited space. The best thing is the free parking next to the hotel and coffee with croissants in the morning. Perfect option for several nights and if you do not have high requirements for the accomodation.

Very small room, some rooms withouth windows. If you want a room with a window, it cost more and you need to ask for it when making a reservation.

It feels like a trip to the futer, the hotel placed in peace of heaven every thing is clean and beatutiful from the parking to the loby and the room (capsule). The capsule looks like a room in a space ship. I got everything i just could wish. The food came with delivery, there is Albert Hein in 5 minets drive. And the loby have machines for snackes and drinks, there is also hot drinks available. Very clean, every thing is comfort and the staff is so nice and warm, i got a feeling of a family memmber. The hotel is very easy to get to, especially from the airport. I followed the directions sent by the hotel. Cleanliness is excellent. I love the concept and found my single room to be very comfortable. During my stay I spoke with 4 different front desk staff, a cleaner and a lady in charge of the dining/breakfast room, all of which delightful, friendly and polite. There are 2 different quantities for breakfast either €5 or €10 plus unlimited coffee. Personally I found the €5 amount sufficient. For those wishing to access the hotel via car, the carpark is large and easily accessible from the main roads. My sleep was completely undisturbed. Which was a concern, also the room is heated via a temperature controlled AC unit. The shower strong and hot and shower gel/shampoo provided too. There's also a vending machine in the foyer providing snacks and beer. First trip in a while on my own and the accommodation enhanced my trip exponentially. I look forward to returning ☺️

I'm struggling to find a negative, but I did find the back of the chair in the room a little uncomfortable. Easily solved with a pillow though.

I really liked the diamond capsule hotel for a nice and comfortable budget stay in Amsterdam. The facilities are quite new and the staff were super friendly and helpful. There is a train station 15 minutes walking and a plaza with restaurants near the university. They have a vending machine and offer umbrella and bike rentals

It’s just overall far from main attractions and about a 40-45 public transit ride. Sometimes taking uber is not easy to get and even the concierge mentioned the taxis get confused about the entrance so you have to walk to the end of the road. Other than the far location it’s hard to find places to eat and the restaurants only open during specific times either lunch and closed for dinner then reopened. Or only dinner until 2100-2200h. There was a nearby hotel with a restaurant which was a 15 minute walk that I would eat at but it was quite pricey. Also there is a blow dryer but there’s only 2 that you have to request from at the desk. They did not have towels as often in the main pod area, even though I had requested for some.

As first customers of the hotel, we had a super experience that exceeded our expectations. Our room in the capsule hotel is tiny but with all the comforts of a regular sized room. A lot of mirrors around the room will make you feel at ease with its reduced size. A plus goes to the bathroom and the great shower. Travel time by bike : The location of the hotel will let you join the Amsterdamse Bos in 5 minutes, Amsterdam Zuidas in 10 min, Amsterdam Centrum in 25 minutes max. Great bikes by the way: ! we recommend you to use the hotel rental service. On top of that we also had breakfast for free ! :) we will consider coming back to the diamond capsule hotel in the future. It was a good experience for the price. I took the #300 bus, #25 tram and walked for about 10 minutes. In total it was about 40 minutes from the airport. I noticed they have clothes washing machines in front but I didn't try them. No restaurant on site but they did have vending machine. Bed and sheets were very comfortable and not having windows didn't bother me.

The check in machines were not working so had to wait for someone to do it manually. The room was OK albeit a little cold A kettle in my room would have been nice. If you have loud neighbours you will hear everything but aside from that I would stay there again.

I really liked how you have your own room. It’s literally small capsule. If you are short like me and are in a single room ask for a lower bunk. I liked the facilities pretty new and the staff were super nice and very helpful. For the price point I felt it was really worth it. They have a vending machine in the lobby, bike and umbrella rentals as well and offer a small breakfast. There is a plaza close by where the university is but about a 15 minute walk.

It’s just really far from downtown taking public transit about 37 minutes + 15 minute walk to Amstelveen Uilenstede tram station to main area like Leidesplein
