The location was great, 1/2 mile from Meppel train station and 2 minute walk to supermarkets. Large room, tastefully decorated, comfy bed. Excellent bike rental at train station. Large room with comfy bed. Decent breakfast for only $ 7.50. staff was friendly and helpful.

I had a fantastic experience, communication was very good from the hotel and they answered my questions promptly. Was sent a code on the day that opened the main door and my room. the room was wonderfully presented, tidy and clean. Lovely quiet location within a few minutes walk from the local bars and restaurants. The people that cleaned the room next day were very kind and polite, I was working in the breakfast room after checkout and they closed the door to the stairway because they didn’t want to disturb me with the vacuum cleaners. I would 100% recommend staying here and would happily stay here again.

Little hotel with only breakfast being served (did not try, but the smell of bacon was really lovely). The location is perfect, only one minute to Lidl and Jumbo supermarkets and the city centre within three minute walk. My room (2) had a separate door directly to the park park, beds are comfy... I really enjoyed my stay :)

Room, staff, breakfasts, location all great!! Hosts were amazing, my husband hurt his back on the last day and they made calls and drove us to places in search for crutches. They went above and beyond with their hostility. We highly recommend!!

location is good: quiet (no road noise), close to town centre and canals. charming and capable staff. good off-road parking for motorbike,.

The stairs are steep. if that is difficult for you then ask for a downstairs room. it’s a bit echo-ey. someone was moving furniture at 01:00 .

We biked to this hotel from Amsterdam, and it was a great place to stay in a nice little town. Close to places to eat, clean, and bike friendly.

We stored our bikes in our rooms, which were plenty large, but those of us on the second floor had to get the bikes up a very steep stairway.

The hotel has a great central location which meant that town restaurants and sights were easily walkable. The room was well presented and clean. The breakfast was lovely The owners were friendly and welcoming

Just a little hard to find but worth the effort.

The day of arrival, we received a code that allowed us to check in ourselves. This was quick, convenient and Covid proof. The room was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The hotel is located in the heart of town, easy to reach by car en public transport. Restaurants, bars and other entertainment are all at walking distance. Breakfast was fresh and plenty. Excellent value for money.

Some construction in the area (not their fault) makes it a little difficult to find the property

The location was great, the room size fabulous the only thing we missed is being able to open the window at night but to be able to open the door during the day was great!
