We were on a bike tour of north eastern Netherlands. This was our favorite overnight stop from 8 overnights. The room was large, with a lovely view of the river and a great balcony that we sat out on, It was really a very comfortable room. We ate dinner there and again it was great. What a lovely location. All of the staff were so helpful. Bike storage was great. A locked room with charging points. Breakfast was fantastic. A very large selection of food in the buffet and a pleasent bright room to sit in.

Storage area for cycles was very good, but would have been improved a little if stands for bikes, like ours, that are not fitted with a stand had been provided. The setting, beside the water, was lovely. Sitting outside, enjoying a beer after a long day's cycling made for a perfect end to the day! A short walk into the town was well worthwhile and very interesting.

Noise from outside the room as the wedding party and band from the hall on the opposite of the courtyard departed.

We liked that our dog was allowed in the hotel, that allowed us to take our friend with us. The basic rooms are good enough. We booked the restaurant for diner. The food was excellent, steak, soup, burgers, pasta, desserts, ... we all 6 liked it a lot and at a fair price. Good choice on breakfast, don't forget to ask for pancakes or eggs! Nice swimming pool. I went with my daughter in the evening, and we had the pool for ourselves. Beautiful setting. The town itself doesn't have too much to offer, but then again we came here to visit Giethoorn.

There was a little amount of hair left in the shower drain. But ok, I took a piece of paper and remove it. Apart from that the room was clean.

Nothing concerning the hotel itself, but I arrive it was already "night" and leave in morning... No possibility to enjoy the nice view from the room

The room was nice and spacious. The balcony and the view was excellent. I always enjoy the rainwater shower. The bathroom was clean.

The room did not have carpet.

Nice location nearby to the national park, Giethoorn, Blockzijl and Meppel. There are 3-4 restaurants in walking distance and 3 shops as well. The room was clean and had a view on the water. The staff was nice. Bike rental available. Breakfast was good.

My colleague is vegan and asked for vegan breakfast. He got something with milk and eggs, so could not eat it.

This is an exceptionally well fitted out hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The fittings are all quality. Great location on the waterway. Very good breakfast.

I prefer a bath to a shower, but that's just my preference. The rooms, I stayed twice just had showers. No tea making facilities in the room, but this is normal for the Netherlands.

Beautiful location right on the waterfront, comfortable rooms. Restaurant at the hotel was excellent. Excellent cycle storage.

It was a beautiful location.The dining rooms had great atmosphere. Breakfast was excellent. The room was spacious and had a great balcony overlooking the river. The bed was comfortable. Easy parking.

Good service, very friendly to our dog. Nice environment. Good parking.

We were in the second building with not a nice view. The charging box for the car is very slow (only 6 kw).
