Smack bang in the centre of infinitely walkable Nijmegen, the location of Hotel de Prince couldn’t be better. Given the location - it is surprisingly quiet! Thick, heavy curtains and an extremely comfortable bed along with powerful radiators make for a cosy, long and peaceful sleep. All furniture and soft furnishings were of excellent quality and condition.

No spoons. 🥄 . Wooden sticks only. Not great for the planet and I hate them. I need a teaspoon to store my coffee. Ah, coffee. The coffee machine didn’t work and made a huge mess everywhere. There are not enough places to hang coats and towels - more hooks required. It’s really impractical. The bathroom is incredibly damp with no extractor fan - I’ve no idea how it’s so spotlessly clean! There’s no way to indicate if you’d like your room cleaned or do not disturb, so we spend the day indoors due to bad weather and a very apologetic cleaner burst in unexpectedly.

Brilliant location, in the centre near to the river and a beautiful park. Great location for shopping and eating out, near to the local tourist hotspots as well. Car park located 5 mins walk away might be a problem if you have a lot of luggage however there are no hills to manage. The hotel suite was spacious with all you might want. The kitchen area was clean and well used however everything worked and we were glad of the fridge. Our room was in a separate building from the reception. There was a lift and spiral staircase, all very tastefully decorated, and we felt safe at all times. There was a buffet breakfast in the main reception with plenty of choice including cereal, different breads and pastries, fruit and yogurt, eggs boiled, scrambled or fried, cheese and meats. A wide selection of fruit juices and hot drinks were available, all help yourself. Would recommend.

The room was very deep, decorated with black furniture and trendy dimmed lighting. This meant that it was dark as you got further away from the windows. We managed! Being in a central location has it's benefits and that is there was a great choice of bars and restaurants. This could potentially be noisy at night however we didn't notice any noise at all.

A very nice, small room. Even though it was a hot day in the Netherlands, my room was fine in temperature. If you want to walk from your room to the recepeption desk, you need to go outside, but it's just next door. Breakfast can be purchased for 17,50 and is very nice. It's a continental buffet breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice and a larger selection of warm food than I usually see in Dutch hotels; there were boiled eggs, scrambled eggs and eggs sunny side up, bacon and American style pancakes. My room had a tiny window without a view and a sink in the bedroom, not in the bathroom. Wifi worked well.

I loved the smell of cleansiness. I was given a room overlooking the shopping street. It was lovely, except I was there not to shop.. so could not enjoy thoroughly - the restaurants and boutiques. It's an ideal location to sightsee. The lady at the reception was friendly. She was also there first thing in the morning and prepared the breakfast buffet. The room - it was nicely decorated and it was big enough for me and made me feel welcome. There was also coffee and tea available. I was very happy with my stay.

I did walk up and down trying to find the Reception. Somehow it shows everywhere, number 42 for the restaurant, no 44 for the hotel. But number 44 is nowhere to be seen above a door. Just look for the Reception sign above the buffet/restaurant door. And google takes you to the side street. But that's an error.

Location, location, location. The hotel is centrally located in Nijmegen, with tons of restaurants, cafes, and shops within walking distance. The room was ample and clean. I only interacted with the staff briefly but they were pleasant and friendly.

This is one of the darkest hotel rooms that I have stayed at! Perhaps it was meant to create a relaxing atmosphere but I was on a work trip and, in the evening, the room was dark to read a book even with all of the lights on. The hotel is on a busy street, so you will hear voices from the street. For me, this was very welcome but others may dislike it.

Very nice hotel, at the centre of Nijmegen, and within walking distance from almost everything, including the central station. Very comfortable and quiet room, kind and helpful staff, cleaniliness, and a great breakfast buffet. Complimentary coffee (with capsules) and tea was available in the room.

we enjoyed the location very much, in the heart of Nijmegen centre. Super friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Good quality bed. Nice style. bubble bath in the room.

good hotel, nice place, enjoyable stay yet overpriced in our opinion. parking (public parking) is possible not too far from the hotel but space is not guaranteed and it's a short walk to the hotel (no problem, on a dry day)

Hotel on a quiet pedestrian street. Rooms are located in separate but nearby buildings. Comforrtable albeit small rooms. Nice breakfast served in the main building. Few minutes walk from train station.

Bit expensive - but inflation has passed this way.

The personnel were super friendly, helped me with everything and even provided me with a better room for the same price (I guess not everyone will be so lucky, nevertheless). It was a very clean and cosy hotel in the very center of everything in Nijmegen

I liked everything, but since I have to specify something here, let it be "the glass in the shower could be a bit longer so no water drops fall onto the floor"

The hotel is ideally situated in the central shopping street: in ten minutes' walk (or less), you're at the train station, the riverside, or the fabulous Bastei museum & Valkhof Park. I booked a single room but ended up in one with bunk beds, which was probably larger, as it also contained 2 comfy chairs. Great to have tea & coffee facilities in the room--and good quality (pod machine for coffee, decent teabags and electric kettle for tea). The room was very clean, and the furnishings looked quite new. The room had clean lines, and rather than a cupboard, there was an open space, with clothes rail, 2 shelves, and lots of hooks for your belongings. The bathroom shower had both a 'rain shower' head and a handheld attachment, and soap/shampoo/shower gel were all provided.

The bathroom needs more hooks for hanging your towel and somewhere to place the soap, etc. in the shower. It would also be rather cramped if you were sharing the room and each needed to change in the bathroom. The wall decoration was rather disconcerting: a huge poster of a woman's face, like an ad for makeup. I would prefer just a blank wall. Be aware that most of the rooms are not accessed through the reception area, but one of several doors on the street.
