I had overall a very nice stay here, the rooms were interestingly and modernly designed, everything was clean and functioned properly. I found the breakfast though, somewhat unsatisfying given the relatively high price of this bed and breakfast. The breakfast was very minimal, cheap and untasty bread, bad coffee and just not the kind of breakfast I’d expect here and for this money. Also one should note that some of the rooms are on the 2 floor (high floors, so feels more like 4th floor) and there is no elevator. With heavy luggage that’s no fun. But on the whole, lovely place in a wonderful location!

Lovely apartment with plenty of space to relax. Great shower. Easy walk to the tram, supermarket, local sights and shops and only a 15 minute walk to trains and the metro.

The apartment was great but there was quite a bit of street noise on Friday and Saturday nights from a small pub nearby and from people passing by in the street (it was very quiet on other nights though). A toaster and/or microwave would have been really good as hot plates only was a little restrictive in planning what to eat.

Everything! This was such a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were fabulous, comfy beds, lovely bathroom, great to have the kitchen area. The breakfast was delicious and the owner was so lovely and helpful. Great location, Schiedam is a beautiful place to stay and there is a superb Indian restaurant, the Taj, within walking distance that served delicious, authentic Indian food. Also easy to get to Rotterdam on the metro.

A bigger space than I imagined in a great location, so pleased we stayed in Schiedam rather than Rotterdam, which is only a short train ride away.

Loved the windows & high ceiling. Really nicd space, everythibg we needed & friendly hosts. plus a sweet street,,close to the canal & windmill.

Didn't have the breakfast. Location was good, in the old part of Schiedam. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby as well as canals, boats, and windmills. Lots of charachter. 20 minute walk to train station for day trip to Den Haag. Room was quite large with small fridge, sink and microwave.

This little gem in the heart of Schiedam left me completely astounded. Located in a 15th century building, my very cozy room featured wood beamed ceilings and the most warm & welcoming atmosphere imaginable. The manager is delightful, although it broke my heart that his equally inviting coffee cafe was closed due to lockdown. The hotel is in an artists quarter and is short steps to shopping, restaurants & the weekly fish market. This place definitely exceeded all expectations. I look forward to staying again.

This is more of an FYI than a dislike. Like most older Dutch buildings, the staircase is steep (no lift). Large, heavy bags could be a bit of a challenge for some guests.

Very spacious and characterful place in a lovely street. It was great to have a living area - sofa and table and chairs, plus fridge and crockery etc.

The bedroom was very hot and we couldn't open the window much as it was fixed. The fan was very loud.

B&B Museumkvartier is bang in the middle of the elegant and charming historic town of Schiedam, which is worth visiting for its canals, windmills and old distillery buildings. It is also very convenient for popping into Rotterdam with its big-city attractions. The accommodation at B&B Museumkvartier is excellent, the breakfasts generous, the coffee top-notch, and the owners friendly and informative. Thoroughly recommended.

Our quad roomwas much larger and nicer than expected! It was in fact two double bedrooms with a separate livingroom/kitchen, and the kitchen was of very good standard. Peter, the owner, was super friendly.

We were really glad we chose Schiedam over staying in Rotterdam. It was like coming home to your own little neighborhood. The apartment was really well presented and unique.
