The front desk staff was very helpful in getting my room available a bit early. The location while away from the city center had both a tram and metro stop close by. My room was on the third floor so having an elevator in the building was a definite plus. The breakfast was served starting at 7:00 on weekdays and 8:00 on weekends which was great. The buffet selection was nice with a good variety of items. There were an adequate number of outlets in the room.

The bed was very uncomfortable (quite soft and sagged in the middle) making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The single bed cover was very heavy. My single room was quite small with hardly any place to unpack. There were two drawers in the bathroom which helped but not convenient. There was a small table lamp on the desk, but it needed to be charged but no cord was attached. I happened to have an extra cord which I used.

Very friendly stuff. Very communicative, flexible and helpful. We stayed for 3 days at the whirlpool room. I asked due to celebration reasons, if I could get the room romantically decorated. It got nicely done and free of charge. Impeccably clean hotel and rooms (great housekeeping team). Well located, close to all the tram lines and the Q-Park parking house (5min walk). The balcony and the room size were big for a hotel room & for dutch standards. We loved it. And the open view. Minibar, air condition, heating system, fan, were a huge plus. Felt really like I am at my house. Also a plus was the quantity and variety of coffee sticks and tea bags.

Efficiently run hotel. Staff were all helpful and friendly. There was building work going on so the area outside the door to my room was very dusty etc. Good shower with two heads. The room was basic but clean. The metro station is an easy 5 minute walk from the hotel. There is a supermarket about 10 minutes walk away and a couple of bars . The hotel suited me fine for my 3 night stay. I would stay again.

I didn't not like - but Coolhaven is what Rotterdam residents call an area 'in transition'. I didn't feel unsafe but currently there is not much in the area. The curtains in my room were really thin and kept little of the light out.

Room was very comfortable and well heated, room service excellent. Staff were very friendly and able to advise us on any query we had, as well as being available around the clock. Hotel Port was close to public transport and places to see and visit, including the sea and parks, always some new place to explore.

We found many bike riders were completely indifferent to pedestrians. We felt we had to have 'eyes in the back of our heads' at all times. Many bicycle riders seemed to have a complete disregard for the rules of the road!

Lovely little hotel, ideally situated for exploring Delfshaven and Oud-Charlois, for such delights as the Dutch Pinball Museum. On this visit, the outside temp. was 30° plus, so the aircon unit in the room was WONDERFUL. Another plus is that the desk is attended 24/7, so no problem catching the the late flight to Rotterdam airport.

It's a pity there was no fridge in the room, and we never did figure out how to switch off the lamp above the en suite sink, but otheriwse things were great.

I only stayed for two nights to participate in a conference in Rotterdam. I was in a double-bed room. The sheets were very clean and the bathroom was clean, warm, and designed nicely. The staff were very helpful and nice. I also really liked the 24 check-in scheme, because I arrived quite late (1:00 AM) and was able to easily go to my room. I enjoyed one-day of bike rental to ride to the conference and it was a hassle-free experience.

I like the view of trees or nature, but my room's view was the street. Perhaps this is not a weakness of the hotel in the middle of a city. The hallways leading to the room were a bit small and narrow, while I like wide and open designs more. Perhaps with better decoration or creative coloring, this can be alleviated a bit.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location, easily accessible by metro and tram. Garden at the back is very nice and also has a covered gazebo.

Wifi connection was not always good and the noise at the lobby can get to the rooms on the entrance floor. As it rained mostly while we were there we couldn't get to use the balcony much as it's not covered.
