The room was comfortable, the staff were nice, the breakfast was really decent, and there’s a lot of flexibility about breakfast time and arrangements regarding breakfast. There was a kettle and a coffee machine in the room. Utrecht old town is just 20 minutes away if you take the bus. There’s a cinema in the same building, and I think guests even get a discount on entrance.

There was no refrigerator in the room, and the toiletries supplied were very basic. But nothing one could not survive. I’m not sure this is really a problem, but note that the rooms are spacious, so they don’t get very warm even with heating turned on maximum (mine heated up to max 20-21 degrees).

Reasonable hotel, clean and efficient and well located in central Zeist.

The only downside is the on-site restaurant which food is sub-par. I had an entrecote which was prepared in a cold pan, and was undercooked, with veggies that had been roasted, left to cool off and heated by a microwave. The waitress who served me reacted very unpleasantly to my feedback on the food, and the qualifier that it was “inedible”. I suspect that it was herself who had prepared the food instead of the cook who was absent from the premises. I refused to pay for the entrecôte and had food at the Hermitage restaurant across the street for the remainder of my stay.

This is a lovely hotel in a very good location. The room was big and comfortable with a lovely view. It was easy to get to with public transport. And I could go for a walk in one of the parks nearby. The shops are also close, and I could go the market on the Saturday. This is easy enough to get to Utrecht and other places while staying in a small town with lovely trees, history and beautifil surroundings. The restaurant downstairs was good, and I enjoyed being able to go to a movie without leaving the building.

This hotel is simply amazing. I think I have never slept in a better bed than I did here. I didn’t want to leave the bed in the morning! The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Perfect location, too - right in the heart of Zeist and it was easy to get to the hotel by using public transportation.

The only thing that was a bit of a disappointment was the view. I was staring at a wall and an apartment building. People could see into the room from the other hotel room windows.

Very nice small town close to Utrecht with railway and bus connection to big cities. Apartments were clean and well organised. Very interesting interiors with movie and theatre themes. Restaurant is stylish with good choice of draft beers (meals we didn’t have a chance to try). Price was much more attractive (except parking), than nearby big cities.

Extremely expensive parking 15Eur/night. On a Q&A page was written, that it’s like this, but with limit per 1 stay below 40Eur/stay. Nothing like this wasn’t offered - 4x nights for 60Eur.

Location in a vibrant but not too busy area of Utrecht. Hotel Theater Figi is in Slot Zeist, easily accessible by bus from Utrecht Centraal Station - about 20 minutes travelling time, every 15 minutes during the day & 30 minutes evenings. I also used the trains to & from Amersfoort, Amsterdam, & Schipol Airport - Google Maps an excellent guide for planning trips. Friendly, helpful staff who go the extra mile to make sure you have all you need - many thanks to all and especially Bart! Modern spacious hotel & bedroom with everything a solo traveller needs plus added value of a theatre AND cinema on-site.

Everything was perfect!

Lovely hotel, clean quiet rooms. Great breakfast and restful bar and restaurant for the evening. Great for bus connections to the train station, Utrecht ( 20 mins away) and visiting castles such as Amerongen ( 40mins away) . Next to the town's Slot Zeist with a park to walk through. Would be a great base for a walking and sightseeing exploration of a little known area.

The rooms have different lightening that I am use to no main light for the whole room. Instead a series of small lamps. This is only a minor thing and actually made it much easier to fall to sleep

Great location, great staff - this is a very well run hotel. Everyone we met was very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is very well maintained.

Nothing. Particularly impressed with the staff who are obviously well looked after by management and well trained in the hospitality profession - this is reflected in the front line customer facing service.

Employees are warm and accommodating. We especially enjoyed being greeted by Bart every time we walked in. Breakfast was a joy just walking in and see Enzo on the floor. The location is perfect and easy to move from one place to the other. There was nothing negative about this stay. Except for the fact that I was naive to think that the rooms had an airconditioning. However. Slept like a baby all 10 nights !
