The rooms were clean, the hosts were friendly and helpful, it was in a good location.

The one thing we would have liked was a lamp to leave on for the night, with our children it was very dark once all the lights were off in an unfamiliar place so a lamp or nightlight would have been good to be able to find our way around in the dark. (The room lights were too bright to leave on with someone sleeping in the livingroom as well) Not a complaint at all just a note.

The standard and cleanliness were at or higher than I was expecting. I particularly liked the metal kettle - so many places have a plastic one, which I can't stand. The friendly owner/opeator had turned on the heatpump for us before we arrived and allowed me to charge our electric car overnight against a small surcharge (which I had offered to pay - only fair to pay for it). The kids enjoyed using the trampoline (in their warm winter coats), while I cooked dinner on one of their two outdoor BBQs. The location on the main road was conveniently right next to a supermarket and a short drive from the Alexandra Squash Club where we were playing. Excellent.

We enjoyed the small touches of Christmas decoration in the room and around the motel. The towels on the bed had been styled as swans and the face cloth into a rose. There were even complimentary jellybeans. The studio room was very comfortable with lazyboy chairs. The room was very quiet, even though the motel is next to a large supermarket.

Very comfortable and clean. Kitchen was adequate with hot plates & microwave but no oven. We appreciated the early check-in (11am). Swan towels were a cute quirky touch. Room was quite dark which didn’t worry us as we just wanted to relax and watch TV. Right next door to New World if you need to do some grocery shopping.

Parking spaces were very narrow.

Have stayed at this Motel before. Excellent communication and friendly service .We were listened too and given good welcome . This is our preferred Motel . Thank you to the Hosts and to the Hospitality received.

As I have a back injury I was not be able to assist with the stripping off of the sheets as what we usually try and do. Thank you once again for your Hospitality.

Although this is an older motel it was well maintained with an updated bathroom with an excellent shower. The host was very welcoming and was able to supply safe storage for our ebikes. The location is great. Right in the middle of town next to a supermarket and close to restaurants and cafes. even the studio units are quite spacious. Will definitely stay here again.

Great rooms, the motel manager was friendly and accommodating. Great central location and conveniently next to a New World. Room was a good size for a family of 5. Our kids loved the write-up in the room about their pets and were on the lookout for the cat our entire stay.

Was in a great location, very close to shops and eateries. The owners were friendly and very helpful, rooms large and comfortable, kitchen well equipped and a good sized bathroom with a great shower which was one of the best we found on this trip around South Island.

Really nothing to complain about.

I liked that there was a well kept and safe trampoline for our young child to play on. And the thoughtfulness of the staff to supply a small bottle of milk for tea and coffee.

That the internet didn't reach our rooms so well. (We were in the furthest rooms from the reception, so I'd assume others wouldn't have this problem)

The gentleman at reception was very helpful and kind. He set up the portable cot for our wee one. It was a full apartment with a great kitchen and bedrooms. Sky digital on the tele was nice. My son loved the trampoline and rackets and balls outside too. Alexandra was a nice town too. We were also very near a playground and some great cheap eats to treat ourselves 😊

Shower pressure could have been stronger. But not a deal breaker.
