This place is brand spanking new and super clean. They've got some great tea and coffee options for when you need a break. It's really handy - everything you might need is just a stone's throw away. But the best part? You can take a nice stroll down to the lake. It's pretty sweet! And don't forget friendly staffs!!

Very centrally located to town and on the edge of Te Kouto Park which provided a lovely tree outlook and a nice afternoon walk. Property is new and well set up with coffee pods and Zealong tea selection. Lovely soaps, shampoo etc from the Ashley & Co range. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment which was a lovely surprise. Had everything we needed and a comfortable king bed. Two singles in second room. Lots of extra bedding & throws which weren’t needed as had heat pump in lounge area and bedroom. Staff are welcoming and friendly.

The hotel is located within a commercial complex in the centre of the town, easy to park and there are plenty of restaurants and bars around. The stuff members are all very friendly. We liked the room - very modern, spacious, comfortable beds, nice toiletries..... The room was on the 1st floor, facing to the parking space, but it was quiet at night. Highly recommended if you are travelling

There wasn't microwave. The breakfast was very nice - all made to order, but the menu was a bit too heavy for me. I thought it would've been even nice if there was a fruit/drink bar for free helping.

The Hotel Owner, Husband & Wife Team, Sorry that I lost his namecard ... He is the Nicest Hotel Manager that we met in New Zeland, My family arrived late, tired hungry and exhausted, We booked the Hotel Room in a rush and doing it while I was driving and doing the tourist thing, i.e., taking pictures while searching for the right road, We were short of a bed, .... He upgraded our room without the extra charges and the services rendered was phenomenal .... The Hotel is very new, clean, nicely designed and well maintained, .... coupled with the friendly and hardworking owner, this Hotel is better than any International Chain and deserve a 5 Stars +++ Rating !!!!! .... Definitely Recommend to any one looking for a good night stay and you have everything next to the hotel from Restaurants to Pubs ....

Very comfortable and clean room

There wasn’t a bench in the bathroom but it was as booked a “disabled room” so that would be why. We booked a disabled room last time and were swapped to a room at the rear which had a very pleasant outlook. Unfortunately not this time. Although we arrived around 3.30pm we had to phone a staff member from reception to get the key to our room. Not a biggie but we prefer the personal touch especially as it was within the allocated check in time.

The hotel was in a good location in terms of being close to the shopping centre . The room was spacious & comfortable . Having a sliding door onto a very narrow verandah meant that you could get fresh air. This looked into a mown area surrounded by trees .

I didn’t realise that the hotel is part of a new shopping complex. Whilst it was convenient having a chemist & bottle shop & a few takeaway shops nearby , there was the issue of having cooking oil wafting up from 2 takeaway shops below . This stopped at 9pm when the shop shut . On the Saturday morning we were women very early by sound of thudding . We worked out that we were above a gym / Pilates place & the noise was probably weights . If I went back I would ask for a room on level 2 . Also ask for one overlooking the lake rather than the shopping carpark .

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, especially at Christmas. The hotel is positioned by a small lake lovely for walks or a morning run. Plenty of nearby restaurants but quiet surroundings. The rooms were comfortable clean and well equipped. Easy free parking right outside. We used the restaurant for breakfast and for evening drinks and were pleased with quality and value.

excellent location, close to town and lots of eating options. Lovely quiet room overlooking the lake, although it was still very hidden behind trees so we still couldn't see it haha. Stayed here as needed to be in Hamilton the next day, great alternative with this lovely accommodation and the delicious eateries in Cambridge, will be sure to stay again. Amazing bed and pillows, so comfortable.

I always like to have an extra blanket at hotels, this one included but didnt have one, for when you go to bed and find the air con is still a bit chilly.

Everything was exceptional. The Hotel itself exceeded expectations. The room was spacious and clean, with a very comfy bed. The service was great. The location was fantastic, to Cambridge and in general - the lake was absolutely stunning to wander around. The breakfast was fantastic. We were actually blown away with how lovely everything was, and affordable!

The parking was a bit confusing when you first got there and very full - however understand not much can be done about this.
