Friendliness of the staff, and great location close to central Christchurch . Well equipped with stove top and utensils. We got upgraded to two bedrooms apartment which was a bonus!

Parking can be a bit tight if you have a roof box. Shower pressure is still acceptable but can be stronger. No kitchen rangehood so have to reconsider if cooking something that can be stronger in smell or smokey.

Was a great location for me, easy to get around if driving. Free parking right in front of the room. The rooms were clean and serviced daily. Top floor unit had a self-contained kitchenette with a little stovetop, microwave, toaster, kettle, utensils and cutlery.

Really good location, the room had obviously been redone/renovated not too long ago which was nice. The staff were incredibly nice and friendly

It was a hot night, no air con, can't open windows as people downstairs were smoking outside and talking.

Great location. Laundry was free washing machine and dryer. Ironing board in laundry facility. Washing powered needs to be purchased,but we were lucky people prior puschased a large surf and left it behind,so owners left it for all to use. The bed was comfortable king-size, and the room was a good size and comfortable. Free parking is great,except it is a little tight for larger cars 4x4,as you are unable to turn around.

Nothing really bad, but I noticed a little mould above the shower, and the skirting boards in the bathroom were dusty.

Customer service was exceptional. Very friendly and helpful - with directions to local supermarkets, very quick to respond to a small issue we had with the WiFi and also allowed us to use the laundry past the usual operating hours. Very quiet unit - despite being on a busy road there was very little traffic noise. The unit was serviced every day and always left very clean.

Missing a bedside table, and very little bench space in the kitchen (we were staying for 5 nights and eating in most nights) - if the microwave was on a small shelf there would have been a lot more useable space.

Very helpful owner and staff. Rooms are spacious and airy. Beddings are comfortable. The shower room is separated. However, lacking a place to hang clothes inside. Powder detergent provided for laundry. Quiet at night.

Lightings in room are dim, and a few are not working. Can hear water draining sound from the common bedroom. The window opens to the ground floor where there are 2 car parking lots. The dining table is a bit clamp for 4 persons. Limited and light cooking.

Excellent location in Upper Riccarton. We asked for a quiet room and we had one tucked away at the back - didn't hear a sound and slept very well. The beds were very comfortable and the unit was clean. It was excellent value for the price.

The unit was very basic (but clean) but I wouldn't expect more for the price. The lounge couch was pretty old and springs broken but we weren't spending much time sitting in the unit so it didn't matter for us.
