Location was perfect, near the airport and right opposite riccarton mall. Round the corner is riccarton saturday market. Owner was a really friendly man too, gives a pack of milk upon check in. Bed had heaters and the in room cooking facilities had everything we required to make a simple meal.

The shower heater ia a bit tricky, had cool water most of the time and short bursts of scalding water. Stayed on two different occasions and were given different rooms each time. Both rooms' showers had this same issue. Other than that, perfect stay!

The room was immaculate and the kitchen well stocked with teas, coffee, even filter coffee. The manager couldn't have been kinder and we were given a carton of milk on arrival as we didn't check in until very late. He held onto our luggage the following day and told us the best way to return to the airport later that day. The bed was large and comfortable, and the TV an added bonus. You can also make calls free from the room and there is a discount code applicable with certain cab companies. There was a really comprehensive information folder. Highly recommend

The overall room was clean and tidy. The location is very accessible To the city centre and super close to PaknSave. What impressed us the most was the helpfulness and generosity of the manager. As we had to arrive the airport late on the day we check out, the manager kindly offered us to leave our luggages at his garage until we pick it up near the end of their office hours. Thanks a lot for making our travels smoother.

The temperature of the shower was tricky to control. Also, it is recommended to have a more powerful water pressure.

Great location. Clean with a comfy bed and in a great location with soooo many great Asian food places within walking distance. The laundry is well priced and the drier they have is probably one of the best (and quickest) I have encountered at a motel ever! The chap at the front desk is a total delight

Just a heads up that room 7 has a staff smoking area at the back and a public smoking area at the front so ciggy smoke can permeate the room if you don't shut your windows.

Location was great due to being across the road from Riccarton Mall, the room was good and warm. The cleanliness of the room was to a great speck. The staff was so helpful and friendly and have good knowledge of the area and eateries

When booking, just to be advised if the room is on the upper level and whether there is a lift. It would be helpful to know if you are elderly.

Being in the lower budget I was very pleasantly surprised with how clean it was and the comfort of the bed . Having our bags carried to the room was an extra bonus😀 Would definitely recommend

No mirror in the living area as the bathroom one was opposite the window and the sunshine was reflecting on it, so you couldn’t see anything. Minor problem.

Very friendly greeting and service. Very helpful and genuine host. Great location and accessibility to city, shopping, eateries... Recommended for location and service. 10/10

Nothing not to like... Under renovation which will only be a positive, we will be back again to stay.

Can not complain about one single aspect

Great sized room, which was very clean, with a comfortable bed and everything needed for a short stay in Riccarton. The owner and staff were very kind, friendly and accommodating. Ideal location if you need somewhere between the airport and Christchurch Central, with an added bonus of being immediately opposite Westfield Riccarton Mall for shopping and within easy walking distance of a considerable choice of restaurants and takeaways as well.

The host at Deans Bush was excellent! He was so friendly and considerate. We checked in really late and it was no trouble. He gave us a ground floor room because I told him I was travelling with my mum, he gave us milk for our morning coffees and when we checked out the next morning he recommended we went to the market just around the road which was excellent! So much fantastic service in such a small amount of time.

There are fans in the room rather than A/C, which would normally be completely fine but it was really hot when we were there. Definitely better than nothing though!
