The guy checking us in was really friendly & helpful. We had a 2 bedroom unit that was very spacious & had great facilities - full kitchen set up should people want to cook. A separate toilet & a 2nd one in with the main bathroom. Dining room & lounge space too with enough comfortable seating for us all. The bedrooms were a good size with convenient electric socket positions on both sides of the bed. The Beds & pillows were very comfortable with clean, crisp/fresh linen. Plenty of really nice toiletries & a box of facial tissues even. Got milk to go with all the tea/coffee/hot chocolate that was provided. The parking spots were a little snug but free parking meters from our room was perfect. Would definitely stay here again!!

Nothing it was Awesome!!

I had booked 2 rooms, one for my family and one for my friends family. Me, my wife and daughter; My friend, his wife and their daughter. This was our second trip trip to New Zealand together but whenever we booked 2 separate rooms we did not get it. C-Motel was the first and only hotel which gave us interconnecting rooms :) Very very happy about it. Liquor Land was just a Block away. Ample parking space. Neat and clean rooms. Easy Access. Friendly staff. Can't stop praising C-Motel :)

To accommodate vehicle parking, rooms were built on first floor. Since there was no Elevator we had to carry the luggage manually. But it is fine as all other facilities met our expectations.

Decent room. Good staff. Milk provided. Comfy bed. Clean. Wifi was okay - needs sign in.

The Thundergrid charger charges by the minute as well as by the kWh so it's prohibitively expensive to charge overnight. Also the Thundergrid sign up and website is very buggy and poorly designed, and wants cash up front. So it's better just to charge at a DC charger rather than rely on the EV charger here.

The location was great and close to everything we needed!

I wish there had of been an option for room service as I don’t find it necessary to have clean towels everyday, I would have chosen the do not disturb option for my stay, saves time and money! Not a complaint but for anyone thinking of staying, It is close to the main road so it can be a bit noisey which I’m sure would annoy someone staying at the motel so by mindful of that. There is construction happening next door which again I’m sure would annoy someone but there’s a lot of construction in the centre of Christchurch and neither of these things actually bothered me.

The location was perfect and had everything we required as a family, from a bath for my toddler that converted into a shower for myself and my partner, to a stove inclusive of all cooking equipment and utensils, it was so convenient, extremely neat and easy. The owner was so friendly and accommodating,he went the extra mile to ensure our comfortably as we had just relocated from another country. House keeping was amazing, all the staff members were consistently punctual,friendly and easy to talk to. I would recommend the C-Motel to anyone, it's definitely value for money and an overall awesome experience.

Able to walk to the town centre and The Little High Eatery which is a great place to eat has a variety of cuisines and great value for money. Room was compact had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. Good selection of kitchen equipment if you stay as long as we did and wanted to cook rather than eat out.

the tumble drier doesn’t work too well. ended up in another guest taking it upon themselves to remove my washing from my dryer when still partially wet so they could put theirs in. very uncomfortable with this - I wonder if there’s a procedure can be put into place to stop this happening. building works woke me up very early but hopefully this is temporary for the accommodation cause it really is very nice would also suggest a towel on bathroom floor means change and towel hung up policy means leave - our towels got changed as we weren’t around to be asked if we needed new ones. very lovely but not too great for the environment for just a two night stay

The room was spacious, clean and warm. Bathroom was modern. The rooms were cleaned daily. The bed was really comfy. It was also very quiet.

The area was a bit light industrial and it was a bit of a walk into town, although a great pub .. the pomeroy.. was nearby. The wifi was a bit slow.

1. The helpful receptionist who offered to drive us to the airport if no taxi came because of the music festival nearby. 2. The bright-coloured interior decoration has created such an inviting space. 3. The comfy bedding is the key to good rest, minimizing fatigue and rejuvenate our body and mind at the end of our trip.

No grocery or convenience store nearby.

We got inter-connecting rooms as I had booked 2 rooms :) Mainly we could Check-in before time as we reached the Motel early. The payment mode was also easy. Also I could find the store very close to the Motel for my purchase.

Only that the rooms were on first floor because of which we had to carry our bags manually. Check-out also was smooth. Ample parking space available.
