The location was perfect for accessing the hospital and Ranui House and very close to the city centre. All these were in walking distance and the offstreet parking was a real bonus. The room was clean, comfortable bed and loved the double opening doors onto the wee balcony. Excellent shower pressure and hot water. It was a cold week but the heating in the rooms was very good.

Lovely large, tiled bathroom with large shower and space on vanity beside the sink to put items. Great location which is a very short walk to Hagley Park events area for a concert. Very comfortable large bed and pillows. Clean and well maintained.

Parking a bit tight but to be expected for the location and was still fine for an SUV on a very busy night. Netflix initially didn't work as needed new batteries in the remote, but we pointed this out to the staff and they were replaced immediately.

The location was perfect, easy walk to cbd. Staff are very friendly and the room was just what we needed. The bed and breakfast was in the beautiful old house, and we were tucked around the back in the motel, but had the house in front, which is great to see in chch.

The builders starting work at 6.45am right next do, but looks like that project will be finished soon

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Excellent location. Quiet street. We stayed in the studio apartment with a kitchenette that was quite roomy. Spacious bathroom. Free parking.

The double glass doors that opened up onto a lovely courtyard were great but our room was directly opposite the breakfast area so was not very private at that time of day.

This is a lovely and cosy, homely feel Motel in a great location in Christchurch, walking distance to everything. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room itself was lovely, it was really big. Great kitchenette and they even left me milk in the fridge which was very helpful. Very clean room. I would stay here again!

Well equipped and beautifully appointed room. Great location, close to the city centre and right on the tramway. I would definitely recommend The Grange and would definitely come back. Best place we've stayed in NZ!

Nothing! Maybe just that the front door remains locked so it appears a little unfriendly and uninviting on arrival.

The Great location is within a short walk to the centre of town, the arts centre, botannical gardens and museum. Having free off street parking in this area of the city was a huge bonus. I arrived early to attend a conference and it was no problem for me to park before the checking in time🙂. I was in the motel units at the rear and found it very quite.

it was clean and comfortable although the bedroom room was cold. We were able to heat it a little with the heater in the lounge but not very satisfactory. We couldn’t get the air conditioning unit in the bedroom to work. The shower was good but flooded the bathroom despite us being careful. The breakfast was nice but the bacon and eggs was purely that, no little extras like sausage or hash browns. The hosts were very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend, we were very comfortable.

The location was perfect for our reason to be in Chch - near venues we needed to be walking distance to, The cleanliness was great and room was roomy. It was also very quiet.

We had trouble to close a blind in the bedroom area and needed to get the owner to do this - it may need replaced as was very 'stuck' in an open position.

The location was perfect, with the Art Gallery, Arts Centre and central Christchurch all within easy walking distance.

In the bathroom the floor tiles, including in the shower, were very slippery. The shower was very roomy, but we would have liked a towel rail closer to the shower entrance. A heated towel rail (great) was more than 2 metres away from the shower - not so good with slippery tiles!
