Everything exceeded our expectations at the Bella Vista. The room was small but contained everything needed for our overnight stay however we could happily have stayed longer. Parking was well organised with on street parking available if needed. Staff were excellent and very informative, directing us to several restaurants. Most importantly we found the accommodation extremely clean. Overall an excellent stay.

Excellent to find a motel with a new 11kV EV charging point (book this in advance) so we could charge the car to 100% overnight. Clean, comfortable motel facilities and friendly staff. Convenient location not far from the centre

No real downsides except the usual slightly too thin walls found in most NZ hotels and motels.

Very clean room and bath Comfy bed Quiet place There is a really good restaurant The Saucy Chef in a short walking distance nearby. Nice Queens Park also pretty close Perfect stay for one night

For me nothing. Just to know, it is located next to the NZ highway 1, traffic is there but didn't bother me the whole night. I slept like a stone.

The accommodation provided was spacious, clean and comfortable. The motel was about 10/15 minute walk from the main shopping centre although there were grocery store option within 5 minutes. The motel was in a nice area and it was a pleasant walk into town or to Queens Park ( a must view in Invercargill). All of the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. Thanks for a lovely visit.

Comfortable bed with a large, clean bathroom. The location is what I would consider at the edge of walkable distance to the center of town—no real complaints for anyone needing a short stay in Invercargill. Close enough to everything you need in a pinch, like supermarkets. TV, microwave, a mini-fridge, and a large closet round out a well-supplied room to stay in.

The fact we could join it with the room next door such a good idea. Kids loved that they also had a TV in there room and free wifi was a bonus 👌.

The shower over the bath does spray out a bit and make a wee mess. Not sure if it was just a mistake or if there is only ment to be 1 shower curtain but the 1 shower curtain doesn't go round the whole bath. And not having a lock on the bathroom door.

close to family as we were attending a family funeral

toilet seat was broken and very loose. on our second day our room was not serviced until we went and asked. it was serviced after we asked but we had been to a funeral that day and just wanted to relax in our room but ended going out for a while. our room had had a quick service whilst we were out

The staff was very helpful and helped us to get the 3rd room, which was canceled by the hotel but confirmed by booking.com. The location is near the park, Burger King and Woolworth. Parking is enough for all guests. Our room is an accessible room.

We were in Invercargill for a family wedding and we always try to stay in a Bella Vista and this one has been one of the best. Very comfortable beds, and a fantastic shower. Room was warm and exceptionally clean. It was within walking distance to family and was very quiet. We liked the biscuits supplied with the teas and coffees and really enjoyed them with a cuppa tea late in the evening after a big day with family. Would not stay anywhere else in Invercargill.

The room was very clean and this is the second time I have stayed there and both times the rooms were so clean. The service has always been friendly and helpful.

I have nothing to put here - it was all fantastic.
