A lovely, quiet setting and still close to the center of Martinborough. Villa had an outdoor patio for sitting outside and both a fire and heat pump for heating and cooling inside. Good kitchen setup with minibar, room service and restaurant dining available if required.

The only minor inconveniences were that it was difficult to turn the TV on and keep it switched on, not sure why? We couldn't start the fire, despite many attempts on a cold morning, and it was too early to be able to call staff for help. I feel that 8pm is a little early to end room service in the evenings, particularly when no one answers the phone after 7pm and you end up having to walk all the way to the restaurant to place your order - difficult when you are disabled. I also wished there was a little bit of shelter over the outdoor seating area. An umbrella is provided, but an awning or similar would be Really helpful.

We took our Granddaughters for 3 days we all loved it, we spent most of the time in the pool and hot tubs. Having the tennis court was great and the breakfasts were lovely

I didn't like the fact that when they debited my credit card 2 days before I arrived, they charged me a 2% pay wave fee. I don't believe this should have happened as the card was not used in a paywave situation I mentioned it but didn't get a satisfactory answer.

This resort was excellent! We were upgraded to a lakeside villa which was very nice, with a beautiful Outlook. The villa itself was perfect, and everything we could possibly need was included.The beds were extremely comfortable, and the spa bath and gas fire were a treat. All of the staff we came into came into contact with were very, helpful and courteous. (The gentleman who mowed the expansive lawns even stopped to ask us if the lawnmower noise would bother us). Breakfast was included in our booking and was plentiful and delicious. We hope to return in the future and will recommend this resort to our friends and family.

Arrived later than planned however keys were ready for me to collect along with info for my stay. Found my cottage easily and walked in to find the lights on, air running and tv set to a music channel. The most amazing welcome and such a thoughtful touch. The cottage and resort is beautiful and has everything you could ever want for a comfortable stay. Pictures online do not do it justice. Breakfast was delicious and presentation lovely. Staff welcoming and friendly and happy to help with anything you may need. Will definitely be back!

We were a bit disappointed as there was a cooked breakfast buffet as part of the breakfast options last time we stayed, however sensing our disappointment the staff offered both of us a cooked breakfast, which my partner happily accepted. This was good service and appreciated. Also the Luna estate Pinot Gris I had with dinner was so good I had to purchase a box to enjoy at home.

If I'm being picky, the rug in the lounge needed a good vacumn, bar that the place was immaculate and well presented, the view from the window seat while enjoying a gin was the second best part of the stay😂👍

Great sized rooms, comfy bed, lovely staff, good tennis court and walking distance to the village. Grounds are always beautiful. It was our 3rd or 4th stay, we do very much enjoy staying here.

There is quite a bit of maintainence that needs sorting out, lots of dings in the walls, peeling paint and mould in the shower. The windowsill of our aparment was rotten. We did need to work whilst we were there and the guest WiFI is terrible, we had to use the staff WiFi - this needs fixing immediately. Its just not good enough to provide a sub standard system for guests when the staff system is fine. The new owners are slowly replacing the furniture in the units and shared spaces and have done a great job of tidying up some areas (the pool is so much better!) but the "Dubai bling" furniture items they are bringing in are not wearing well, they are looking tatty after a very short time and look out of place in the cottagey/ country club setting.

The breakfast was very good and so was the layout of the cottage. We were in Martinborough for a wedding but would happily come back to stay. Reception seems to close very early at 6:30 but this wasn't a problem.

It would have been great to have had a dressing gown in the room. We felt like it was almost high end but missing some little details that would really have lifted it. We also couldn't change the tv channel from the bed despite it being on a swivel. We don't watch tv in bed anyway but noticed that it wouldn't work when trying to turn it off.

We were upgraded to a lake view cottage (we'd booked the wine maker's cottage). The cottage was large with a lovely seating area, a very well equipped kitchenette and a bedroom with a window seat. The open fire (gas) made the room feel really cosy. In fact, the cottage was very well equipped and only lacking bath robes which we learnt are available on request. Breakfast was great offering a good choice. We also had dinner in the restaurant which was very good. We made use of the shuttle bus to visit the Luna Winery (a sister property) for a very enjoyable wine tasting and lunch. A really quiet comfortable stay with wineries in walking distance. I wish we could have stayed longer

The water from shower in our bathroom was not contained in the shower and the water went everywhere. I also felt the cottage could have been cleaner.

Set at the end of a road, so surroundings are peaceful and relaxing. Beautifully set out grounds on site itself offer privacy as well as a lovely environment. Parking space outside each villa is great. The rooms are exceptionally well designed for airiness and comfort, well equipped and with great furnishings. We had a spa bath inside, and a hot tub on our private deck. Hottub great for star watching! Staff are lovely - welcoming and very helpful.

Can’t think of a thing. Would have put a bit far from town for a comfortable walk in heat for older customers, but Parehua provides a free shuttle service.

We were travelling around Australia and NZ for almost a month and our stay at Parehua Resort in Martinborough was our No. 1 from all 15 different hotels we stayed at during our trip. We loved the whole area of the resort, the swimming pool, the tennis court, our beautifully designed, spacious apartment and the lovely staff. The place is located within a walking distance from the best wineries in Martinborough (there is also a possibility to rent a bike for 40$/day). We were lucky to witness a beautiful sunset followed by an unforgettable stargazing. It was truly sad to be leaving Parehua after just one night – we highly recommend booking at least 2-3 nights at this amazing place. Perfect for a honeymoon!
