The room was great - it had a fully equipped kitchenette with everything we might need, including salt and pepper which is not common. A separate bedroom with a comfy bed. Netflix was also available. The property has an awesome location especially for families with kids. It's close to the coastal walkway, a playground, and a kids swimming pool. A very quiet neighbourhood. Countdown is 5 minutes drive, the centre of New Plymouth is ~10 mins drive.

The only thing we didn't particularly like was shower. It's right between a sink and a toilet with only a curtain, not shower cabin. So the whole bathroom becomes wet super quickly. Also it only has rain shower from the top, no shower on a hose whose position you can control. Washing a toddler was quite a challenge.

Location was brilliant, so close to beach and walkway. Local corner shop handy Really lovely and genuine hosts. Beds were comfortable and clean. Loved the puffy pillows. The kids enjoyed the pullout bed in the lounge. Easy to use. Very quiet setting with off street parking.

The only thing I could suggest is that the coffee cups in the room could have been a bit bigger.

Great location to the beach and town centre! The room was spacious, clean, modern and comfortable. Easy parking outside your apartment, which is nice when travelling with young children (and therefore lots of stuff to unload!) Main Bed was super comfortable as were the finale beds for our children. All other facilities inside the room were great.

Nothing - it honestly offered everything we needed for our stay

We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which was perfect for us. It had a little kitchenette which meant we could cook our own meals which is a bonus when were travelling for sports tournaments. Room was clean and comfy. Staff were helpful - they accommodated our late check in.

The only down side was that the house behind the hotel had a party both Saturday and Sunday night... This would make me specifically request a different side of the hotel to avoid the noise.

Very friendly staff, super clean, excellent location.

Not much, the only things I could mention is the mirror in the toilet is not facing you, it was on the left wall and salt shaker could be replaced as the cap was rusty, the electric kettle was leaking when full.

Spotless apartment, seperate double bedroom, very warm welcome from reception - nice to be shown into room and facilities explained, gave me time to ask questions. Parking right outside room. Very plush carpet, none of that industrial quality so often used in motels, I could actually sink my toes into it. Good quality linens clothes hanging rail, iron and ironing board and hair drier, kitchen well equipped.

Was hesitant about the bathroom layout, almost a wet room, but was fine. No scissors in kitchen - I carry my own. Google not quite right - complex is on the right, opposite the street to the left that it sends you down - not the fault of the owners obviously.

It had everything we needed for a short stay. And was a great location for us.

The shower. Three females, all with lots of long thick hair and the shower head wasn’t adjustable. Luckily I had disposable shower caps in my toilet bag from a previous trip.

We liked the separate bedroom the easy parking and the proximity to the beach and the unit size was excellent

Didn’t really like the lack of net curtains even though the windows are tinted and no shelves in the shower is a pain plus a shelf under the bathroom vanity would be helpful.

The owner was very friendly, accommodating and kind. Our room was clean and all amenities needed for our stay. Short walk to the beach below and availability for other whānau was made at short notice. Highly recommend to anyone traveling alone or with a family.

Highly recommended - easy to book, great communication, friendly helpful check in and cleaning service, incredibly clean unit with everything we needed, comfortable bed and quiet. Great location.
