We love everything about this hotel. This was our 2nd consecutive year staying here and we will coming back. The hotel and view from the rooms are beautiful. My baby got sick on the 1st day and everyone was super nice and attentive , they helped us and ask me everyday how was the baby, that was super sweet. The food OMG the foodddd 😍😍😍😍 the breakfast pancakes 🥞 are yumilicius and the Churrasco my favorite dish from the entire country. There isn't anything bad that I could think of about the Merced. We love it. ❤️

This is a great hotel with a lot of charm and is a wonderful place. The location is absolutely good. But the real value is the people who a caring; good and honest. My room was on the second floor but I have some trouble walking. As soon as they noticed it the management offered me a better room on the first floor. I was getting my laundry done and one member of the staff noticed I left money in my pants. The very honest staff returned it to me fully. I had to go to get my ear examined and the manager: got me an exceptional doctor; personally accompanied me to help translate and gave me a ride. This and amazingly perfect help.

I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Real La Merced. I had a perfect stay there - great room with balcony, excellent breakfasts and the most friendly and courteous staff from reception to housekeeping. Great at organizing trips to volcanos, islets, zip lines etc and a great location for simply wandering around Granada and drinking in its sights, for myriad nearby coffee houses and for great restaurants. Excellent in all respects!

Wonderful property located in the heart of Granada. This is beautiful historic mansion that has been renovated. It is in traditional style with the hotel surrounding a lovely enclosed garden/patio with a pool. They a fantastic cafe right on site and the breakfasts were excellent. Just a short few blocks to the center of the city and right across the street from a beautiful church with a tower you can climb to view the City, Iglesia del La Merced.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was very clean and the shower had hot water. Great a/c and the pool area was lovely. Breakfast was definitely a full breakfast and the staff was awesome. Very friendly and helpful. There is also a little coffee shop attached that was very nice. We will definitely be back.

If you need "fresh air" at night to sleep be sure to book a room that has a window or balcony as our room did not. Also if you are looking to sleep in in the morning.... not sure on the weekends but the church bell goes off pretty early on Monday morning so expect to get woke up (you might love this or hate it depending).

Breakfast was great. The room was huge and comfortable. The staff was attentive. The pool and grounds were immaculate. I loved everything about this place. This is a gorgeous hotel in a great central location.

I could never quite figure out what hours the restaurant was to be open, but they were always there to provide an excellent breakfast.

Stunning hotel. 5 star service and facilities. Great pool. Lovely breakfast. Good location very central. Wonderful attentive staff. We upgraded to a junior suite which had a balcony overlooking the the street. Highly recommend this place.

Internal rooms had no windows. No other issues.

This is a truly exceptional hotel right in the heart of the charming old Spanish colonial city. They did a remarkable job of the renovation some years ago. The grand staircase by a well-known Italian mason took my breath away upon arrival, and I do not think I have ever stayed in such a large room! A 14-foot ceiling, charming furnishings, and a balcony overlooking the old La Merced cathedral across the street. They served a very good breakfast each morning in the central courtyard overlooking the swimming pool, and the manager René and his staff could not have been friendlier and more helpful to me! BTW, if you need a Covid test for international travel, the only place to get it is in Managua at a government-run institution, but the hotel will make all the arrangements to drive you there and assist you every step of the way.

I have wonderful memories of my stay in Granada, and it was all due to Hotel La Merced. There is not a thing they could have done to make the service even more pleasant. Thank you, René! Thank you, Roberto! Thank you, Byron! Thank you, Daisy!

Beautiful period building in the centre of Granada. Lovely comfortable room (great bed) which had the most incredible view of the church and volcano. Pool was lovely as were the breakfasts. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

What an absolutely incredible stay. Daysi was the biggest angel and took care of everything I needed. She went so far above and beyond, it truly took my breath away. Daysi took it upon herself to help book anything I needed from excursions, transportation, to appointments and paperwork. She was genuine, kind, and one of the best parts of my stay. Everything about the hotel and team exceeded my expectations. I'm just sorry I wasn't able to stay longer. Overall, the property is within walking distance to many attractions and a short drive to others. There is not one thing I would change. I can't thank you enough!! Xoxo Annmarie
