Friendly staff, good breakfast and lunch; safe and convenient location, very close to the Ikeja mall and not too far from the international airport. Good wifi.

The lobby doesn't have a large enough lounge area to hang out in if you've checked out and are waiting for an evening flight. The dining room is comfortable but I would've liked somewhere with more sofas and coffee tables. However, the hotel's positive qualities outweigh this drawback. I'll definitely stay here again.

The manager attended to all my requests. Due to my long stay, she also offered me free dinner tickets for 3 nights. All the staff members were very professional and helpful. I also like the location of the hotel.

Excellent location with a mall nearby and not too far from the local and international airports. Good facilities and breakfast spread boasts of a wide variety of continental and local dishes. We always enjoy their peppersoup. The staff are helpful and friendly, and the rooms are always clean and decent. Overall, it is always a pleasant experience staying here.

I mistakenly used my UK debit card to make the payment instead of the Nigeria Debit card. Unfortunately, they were the same colour! I realised this immediately and I requested for a reversal as I wanted to use the correct debit card. Behold, I was told it was not possible! At the end of the day, I ended up paying more than double the original amount due because the UK Bank used the CBN exchange rate.

It was nice and calm, staff are very cooperative and welling to help and provide your needs, clean. However, breakfast varieties could be better, service in restaurant could be more faster and effective. Otherwise all were very good. Thanks for all staff, with special appreciation to Margaret, with her smile and rounding everywhere to make sure that every one is satisfied and needs are accomplished, she was really of good help with smiley face always, trust me she will facilitate your life and make it rosy.

the breakdast location was nice nad the chef took requests. the room was cleaned regularly. it had close proximities to places such as shoprite and the dinner was nice.

they were parties at night so you could hear the noise even through the room also most of the staff were rude until further notice.

The breakfast was good enough with a lot of varieties The laundry was prompt and polite. The staff are generally courteous and professional in their approach to customers. And finally the noise level in the hotel rooms was quite normal .

Improvement on the lunch and Dinner quality especially the local menus

I loved every bit of my stay at the hotel, I loved that the room was always cool even when I turned off the AC. I also loved that the room was most times quiet, and there was no disturbance at all. I also loved the WiFi speed, I actually came with my personal mobile WiFi device, but I didn't need to use it at all, as the WiFi service at the hotel was very efficient. Overall, I'll really recommend.

The only 3 things I didn't like were; 1. The view from the room was a narrow street and a building still in progress, would have appreciated a more exciting view like facing the mall opposite or the town, but it wasn't a totally bad view all the same. 2. I enjoyed all the meals except the Spaghetti Bolognese I ordered for on the second day, I feel the taste can be improved upon. 3. I'd also appreciate if some of the staff can be educated on asking for tips from lodgers, ideally tipping is not an issue for me, but I'd prefer if I willingly give out tips on my own volition, rather than being cajoled to.

Where do I start with Protea? From the moment you walk through the doors you are made to feel welcome. The staff at the front desk were attentive and professional. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed; clean, modern, good WiFi connection and a good desk so that I could work. The restaurant staff are great. I really looked forward to having my breakfast and dinner here. The chef is superb. Although the breakfast is buffet which i normally despise, the choice is good and the food is prepared with love. I don't eat meat and still had enough options to sustain me. There is also an egg station and pancakes if you like. Whenever there was something I needed, the chef would have the kitchen prepare it and bring it to me. They really go above and beyond here. It was so refreshing to stay in a hotel where they care about their guests. I had stayed in the Radisson previously both on the island and in Ikeja and it doesn't compare in service or quality of food. Dinner time was also a treat. They are flexible with the menu and would make things just how I wanted. The food was so delicious. Honestly I ordered the same dish on numerous occasions the staff had to persuade me to try something different!! I was not disappointed. Overall this is a great hotel with a central location. It's right across the road from City Mall and next to the passport office. It's also very close to the airport. If you're in ikeja you must stay here.
