Cozy and pleasant room with sea view. Very friendly staff. A micro-shop right at the reception desk, so you can buy water, ice cream, cup noodles or coffee right there. An eclectic interior that mixes both modern clean Scandinavian look and old wooden elements. Top-notch breakfast, big choice of dishes for everyone, including lactose and gluten free options. And a pretty decent coffee that you can take away, this is good especially on sunny days, because the breakfast cafe has a big outside are with sea view. It is located basically at the city center, so you can explore everything on foot. All fjord marine sightseeing activities are also located nearby.

The name of the hotel already implies its quality. :) The location is very good: It's close to the bus stations and the port from which Geirangerfjord cruises depart. It's also an easy process to book a taxi from the airport to the hotel even in the very early morning. Most of the landmarks of the city are within walking distance. The receptionists were all very helpful and welcoming, but I would like to particularly thank the gentlemen whose name I unfortunately don't know who offered me early breakfast around 4:50 AM IIRC on the last day I checked out (Unfortunately I could only drink coffee since my taxi to the airport was about to arrive.) and was also very informative during the check-in and on the first night. My room that was defined with the keywords "no window", "moderate", and "inner" was in fact better than I imagined: It had a diagonal window looking out partially to the sky and partially to the sea. (And the window looking to the sea didn't make any sense on the second day due to a huge cruise ship docked at the port.) The room and the bathroom were large enough. My bed was pretty large and comfortable. The A/C in the room was working perfectly. There was a kettle with tea and coffee in the room, but it's also possible to take coffee/tea/hot water from the reception and use their snack bar. The housekeeper didn't make up my room and only emptied the bin and washed the dishes, but I was already informed about this. The soap and shower gel in the bathroom were of good quality. The breakfast service was very decent. Last but not least, the hotel's wireless Internet connection was satisfactory.

I don't have any complaints about the hotel. Maybe it would have been good if you had put a small desk/table in the room. (It seriously crossed my mind to use the ironing board in the room as a desk or table. I could technically do it, but no, I didn't do it. :))

We loved being so close to the center and we were able to walk to all of the attractions we wanted to visit. Our room had a view of the harbor and it was very quiet and comfortable. We loved the additional features, like the shuffleboard table in the lounge area! Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was more than adequate! Thanks for a comfortable stay in Alesund!

Parking was expensive! We had hoped to park for free overnight in the parking garage and charge our vehicle, but couldn't get the charger to work.

All the staff are friendly, helpful, attentative, and polite. The breakfast buffet has a great selection to choose from, like fried eggs, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, omelette, and bacon, mini sausages, and there's fresh bread and rolls theres fruit and cereal cold meats and cheese fresh daily. Tea, coffee fruit juice water all available. The restaurant in the evening is great. The waiting staff are all helpful polite and informative. The kitchen staff and chef all know how to make great meals, and the food is fantastic. The room I was in was clean, spacious with a double bed that was so comfy plus an iron and board, TV, mini fridge, and 2 chairs and kettle with tea and coffee in the room. The view from the window was of the main carpark and the sea where cruise ships Dock when visiting Alesund. The bathroom located in the room is a very good size with a good shower, quite a large sink, and a toilet plus shaving mirror on a wall mounted swivel arm. There is a small selection of snack items you can purchase in the main lobby, like drinks, chocolate bars, crisps, and ice creams. The location is also really good for walking around, taking in the sights of Alesund.

The problem with my stay was that I couldn't appreciate some of the facilities and the bed like I should have been able to due to injuries sustained before. This was because I had been involved in an accident and was hospitalised, and when I was discharged and awaiting medical clearance before, I could fly back home to London. I stayed for 9 nights at the Quality Hotel waterfront THE HOTEL IS GREAT!!!

This is walking distance from the bus station. However, if you have luggage, you'll be dragging it to 6-10 mins to the hotel. It might be hard if you come during winter. It is near the old town and a supermarket. The buffet breakfast with all those cheese are the best.

I booked 2 family rooms and both type of rooms were given to us - standard (twin + bunk bed) and upgraded (double + sofa bed). Although I'm sure it's more comfortable to sleeping on a real bed such as the bunk bed, but since we have big luggage, it's spacious to stay in the upgraded family room and just stay at a sofa bed. This should have been communicated to us earlier so there will be no comparison within the group.

The breakfast was really good and the location is fantastic! I loved the chairs in front of the harbour. I also enjoyed the chairs at the end of the hallway.

We could have been told about the easier access to the hotel from the side door below. It was a bit of effort getting the suitcases in. We were also not told about the underground parking, just the parking outside. I had to drive around for 30 minutes looking for parking.

Beautiful, stylish room with epic views. Exceptional breakfast and wonderful lounge area and spaces. This hotel makes me feel at rest and at peace with its beautiful atmosphere. The hotel is very welcoming - also if you have meetings and guests.

I had a waterfront view - the next morning the eye of the Aida Cruise vessel was literally looking into my window and the experience of water and sunrise.

Its location at the waterfront is fantastic, also, it's close to both cruise pier and bus terminal. Staff at the reception are warm and patient in answering questions from guests. Besides, very good breakfast is provided.

The room （for 4）we had is a bit over compact.

Nice hotel in a beautiful city of Alesund. Perfect location. Everything is within walking distance - bus terminal, harbour, restaurants, and souvenir shops. Nearby the hotel, there is a supermarket (Bunnpris), can buy fruits and breads. Stayed 3 nights in this hotel. Spacious room, clean and comfortable beds. Amazing daily buffet breakfast and plentiful. Front desk staff helpful and friendly. Fast service. Had a comfortable stay.

Access to reception from the road, with luggage, could have been easier. Only a minor issue. There were 4 or 5 steps which looked smart, and a narrow ramp on which to drag suitcases. But it wasn’t easy. The entrance could have easily been altered into a gradual slope. Having travelled on trains, boats, and busses to get there, I could do without extra hassle!
