Very spacious, clean, full kitchen and beautiful view. Staff was very responsive and accommodating. I really wish we had more time to stay as the room just felt like home and comfortable.. The road to Roldal was closed due to bad weather the original day we were going to stay, so had to change the dates last minute which was given smoothly without penalty. They also held our room the next day in case there was bad weather which was forecasted, but we ended up not staying which was nice to have a backup plan without committing to paying for another night. I kind of was hoping to get snowed in just to have an excuse to stay another night!

Nothing. I have been to Roldal 3-4x now staying at different places and this is by far the best accomodation I have had.

no bed linen, bed linen paid extra. People sleep without pillowcases, which is why duvets and pillows are dirty, The last time we encountered such a situation was in India or Egypt. Of course, the situation is the same in many others appartments in Norway. This is a very common situation. Luckily we had our sleeping bags. the price is not adequate. This situation should not happen in a European country. Bed linen should be included in such a high price.

Great for an overnight stop over or two with a Coop nearby stocking most food requirements. Good view from the balcony. Access arrangements worked fine.

Basic but functional. We stayed two nights but had to buy all the necessaries - toilet roll, shampoo, soap, salt, pepper, sugar etc. You would have thought that some basics are provided.

We loved it! Waking up to that view is amazing, apartment is more spacious than we thought, ideal for those looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway. We chose it over Odda as it was more affordable and less busy, there's a bus from Oslo that stops a few meters away. Would stay again :)

Nice apartment with two bedrooms, ideal for 4 people. The highlight of the apartment is its large balcony with a magnificent view.

right on the road (but as the rooms have windows to the opposite side, the noise from the road was not a problem)

The location and the price were spot-on! Excellent view!

The only possible downside i could find was that the bathroom lacked a toilet-roll holder :) the appartment was clean and the facillities were excellent, the shower was really good!

Nice place with an amazing view over Rodal and nearby mountains. Spacious rooms with balcony and all the necessities you need. Staff is almost nonexistent, but is easy to contact, if you need something.

Nice and clean apartment, ok size for 4 people, great view from the balcony. Well equipped kitchen. Only missed a freezer compartment in the big refrigerator. The queen size bed was a bit too soft for my taste. But otherwise no complaints. Would stay there again!

Beautiful view over Röldal. Nicely refurbished apartment, much space, well equipped, nice balcony overlooking the valley. Apartment situated close to town center, so Coop, stave church and restaurant within walking distance.

Right by the road so needed ear plugs when sleeping. No hooks in the bathroom.
