It's a beautiful hotel with a great mountain view. The staff is awesome, especially Marcello :) he has lots of ideas what to do (try the coffee tour!) and he makes the best cocktails The breakfast was delicious and a little bit different every day. There are lots of flowers between the buildings and sometimes you see colibris flying around

the walls are a lite bit thin, thus at night we could hear the neighbours upstairs walking and the ones next door in the bathroom the hotel itself has no restaurant and it takes about half an hour to walk downtown - The Rock is one of the closest restaurants about 20min away by foot and really nice

The hotel boasts a beautiful garden and stunning views. The room is spacious, lovely, and clean. There is a pool and a jacuzzi for relaxation. Breakfast is delicious, and the staff are friendly and incredibly helpful. The location is convenient – you can reach the city center by taxi for just €4-5 or walk there in about 40-45 minutes. The area feels safe. Additionally, the hotel collaborates with several restaurants, offering free shuttle transfers for guests.

One evening, there was a power outage in the village for about four hours. The staff provided no information or support, and we had to ask for a candle ourselves. I understand that it wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but as a guest, that’s not my concern – the comfort and needs of the guests should still be a priority.

Everything! First, the location is amazing. Palo Alto is unlike everywhere else that I've found in Boquete. The air is crisp, not heavy like it is in town. The misty mountain views and almost permanent rainbows make it feel magical. Beautiful rooms frame beautiful views. There is a storybook creek that runs through the middle of the grounds surrounded by lush "secret garden" like landscaping. The pool is a welcome addition, but the hot tub is where you want to be when the bajareque is flowing over the mountaintops. To top it all off is the staff. They are genuinely welcoming and make you feel like invited guests rather than just paying patrons. My wife and I have stayed twice and certainly will again!

Absolutely stunning property with views and a river. Hummingbirds and butterflies everywhere. Coming back to that pool and spa everyday was decadent. the breakfasts were very good. I loved everything about our stay. We rented a car in town (Alto Boquete) at Cowboy Cars and it worked out great to have the freedom to move at our own pace. It's far enough away from the town center that we really needed it. the hotel staff did seem to have a lot of taxi/driver contacts to get you where you needed to go quickly. Marcelo seemed to run this place with pride and joy. He made our stay very easy.

Breakfast was more than we expected! The owner, host(Judy) and other ladies in the office, breakfast and housekeepers exceeded our expectations along with the bar keep. Jason's delivery to and from his restaurant was also unexpected and highly appreciated on such a busy weekend.

Now if everything was free it would have been perfect 🤠. Kidding, just can't think of anything.

Our room was a great size. The shower was amazing and had great water pressure. The garden between the rooms and lobby is beautiful. The pool and spa have a great view along with the breakfast patio. The staff was so helpful and friendly. Mauricio helped us book our shuttle to and from Boco Del Toro. He recommended many great places to eat and helped us get a tax into town many times. The location is a little far from the main part of town but is totally worth staying at. Wish we could have utilized the fire pit but was closed every time we came back from dinner.

Wish the bar, fire pit, pool, and spa stayed open later.

Location on the river is divine; spectacular garden and hummingbirds; friendly owner and accommodating staff; spacious room with fast internet and high-quality beds, pillows, sheets, and towels; ample breakfast

Better black tea :) I appreciated having access to tea in the room. You will want a car to stay out of town. But the real beauty of Boquete isn't in the town anyway.

Marcelo was so helpful during our stay and is an all around great guy! The Palo Alto is extremely lucky to have him. The hotel has impeccably beautiful gardens and is quite serene with the sound of birds. Our room had an amazing view of Volcan Baru and we enjoyed watching as the light and weather changed up at the top. The outdoor bar provides a full lovely breakfast with friendly service and views of the river. In the evening the bar is quite romantic with a fireplace to keep you warm. We enjoyed having a drink at sunset (with Marcelo bartending) and then relaxing in the hot tub after a half day of hiking. The hotel far exceeded our expectations!

Beautiful fauna and gardens. Helpful in booking transfers.

Felt we were an inconvenience to the front staff. Not very positive or helpful in booking day trips. We were also between meals and there was no chance of purchasing a snack. Nor did the staff offer any little bite to us knowing our predicament . As beautiful of a location, it was not conveniently located or close to anything. We would suggest having a car if you stay here .

The property was amazing and located perfectly on a beautiful and tranquil quite romantic flowing stream overlooking the mountains. The hot tub and infinity pool we indulged in a few times and once during a rain storm which was pretty magical. Our room was perfect. Breakfast was outstanding. They even had mimosas and bloody Mary’s which was a huge plus. The ladies in the kitchen cooked up a killer breakfast. My wife and I needed a ride to dinner one night and the owner was nice enough to drop us off. I can’t say enough great things about this place. If you’re able to get a chance to stay here, it’s a wonderful experience.
