I'm from NYC and have stayed at many places around the world. This hotel truly provides ultimate comfort for tourists in Cusco, especially among the other hotels that we stayed at there. This is the only one that's quiet, provides free room service water bottle refills (there are 3 glass bottles upon arrival in your room), cleans your room twice (the second time they leave a hot water pouch in your bed for cold nights), and exceptional breakfast. You can take your breakfast to go, or order breakfast in advance to go if you have to leave for an excursion. The couples massage will leave you ready for bed because it was just that relaxing. The walkway to your room is beautifully decorated. The employees never seem annoyed while tending to your needs. Their website includes a list of services they provide for free just to maximize your comfort, like if you need a harder or softer pillow. I will be going to Cusco again and will only stay here. They really pay attention to the little details that elevate a guest's comfort while staying at Antigua Casona San Blas.

This is one of the most charming and relaxing hotels I have ever stayed at. From the front desk, to the bartender, waiters, maids, every member of the staff I encountered over nine days was exceptional and greets you by name and with a genuine happiness to see you. The Restaurant is very nice and very accommodating. The spa is heavenly after a full day of walking, and the style is more like Vail than what one would generally think of Cusco. The quality of service for what I paid was again, exceptional. I simply can’t pay this hotel enough compliments for comfort and kindness they provided me. An absolute pleasure to stay at this wonderful hotel.

There was nothing to not like about this Hotel. It’s a wonderful experience.

Everything was perfect from the rooms to the staff to the food at breakfast and dinner. We left to do the Inca trail and came back for an additional night afterwards. We could leave our backpacks at the hotel and upon coming back they were already moved to our new room , the check in was prepared so that we only needed to sign and it took 1 minute. We have stayed at many hotels including four seasons hotels/ capella etc around the world and the service at this hotel was up to that standard while costing a fraction per night. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Cusco. We had high expectations because of the rating but our expectations were even exceeded at any point.

The hotel & room was beautiful. The staff are exceptional & ensure all your needs are met. The breakfast was extensive & delicious. We ate dinner at the fabulous restaurant on multiple nights. Tea & chocolates are provided every day & a hot water bottle is placed on your bed every evening so you can enjoy a nice warm bed. The beds are very comfortable & the shower is large with good water pressure. This hotel in my opinion is a 5 star. The location is fabulous being so close to the square & shopping. They also provide laundry services which are very reasonable. Additionally we took advantage of the Spa services which were wonderful. Loved everything about this hotel in Cusco.

Loved this hotel! The staff is so friendly and they greet you warmly all the time or go out of their way to help you as needed. Our room and the hotel was beautiful and housekeeping was on top of everything. The hotel was located near the main attractions but off the busy streets, so it was quiet at night. My favorite part was the breakfast which had a made to order section (husband loved the croissant sandwich!) and on days where we had early activities (4am), they packed a to go bag for us (sandwich, juice and snacks) which was perfect for the long day ahead.

Loved everything about it! We stayed for our honeymoon and would 10/10 go back again!

We had an incredible stay at Antigua Casona San Blas. We stayed for 4 nights and I ended up extending for a further night. The property is in a great location within walking distance of all the main sights and amazing restaurants in Cusco. The property is cozy and beautiful. They have truly thought of everything, hot water bottles to warm your bed every night, night time tea to help you sleep, safe drinking water by the bed, by the kettle and in the bathroom as well as at the exit to collect on your way out for the day. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms spacious and clean. Every corner of the property is well thought out and decorated beautifully and there is a welcoming outdoor foyer to meet and gather with friends, read and relax and at night time gather around the fire pits. The staff were so friendly and helpful and always attentive to our needs. I became very unwell during my stay and the staff helped arrange a doctor to come out and see me and make sure I was always comfortable. The hotel restaurant was also fantastic, the Lomo Saltado was one of the best I had during my time in Peru and the buffet breakfast was delicious.

Staff was extremely nice, and the hotel overall too. It combines historical details with modern facilities. And OMG, it smelled so good everywhere as they have eucalyptus in vases here and there. The restaurant was also very good — definitely the best food we had in Peru in 2 weeks. Also, we were leaving early, so they prepared us wonderful packages with sandwiches and snacks to go. Definitely would stay again.

Power sockets could be more reliable, as well as the hairdryer — you have to press the button all the way and simply get tired if you have long hair.

The central location, beautiful decor, spa and treatments were great, breakfast was delicious and we also ate in the hotel restaurant one evening which was also delicious. Overall I’d highly recommend this hotel.

Booked 4 nights at this hotel, 2 either side of our Machu Picchu tour. The first 2 nights we were in a superior room which was ok and was set up nicely for our honeymoon. The only problem was it was very noisy due to guests above us, it sounded like they were constantly rearranging furniture which ruined the time we spent in our room. Upon checking out I asked to be put in a room with no one above us on our return. Initially this was not done until I raised it as an issue and then they upgraded us to a suite free of charge. I’d say be aware that there may be noise and ear plugs might be a good idea!

Really nice boutique hotel in the hip & trendy San Blas neighbourhood! It's literally 5-10mins walking distance from Plaza de Armas or Cusco main square and a bunch of nice restaurants, pubs and stores. We chose this as we didn't want to stay at chain hotels. We stayed in the Suite - which had a nice sofa/seating area and a little balcony overlooking at the city. Bed was super comfortable, loved the small touches like bringing us hot water bottle and night-time tea in the evening to wind down. The food at the restaurant within the hotel was fantastic too! Breakfast, lunch & dinner was fantastic - though after 7 days of stay with Antigua we thought the menu was slightly limited. However, when asked they were very willing to make something off the menu to satisfy your craving! The hotel also has good spa facility, though limited capacity so book early! Since I was suffering from altitude sickness, I took advantage of the hyperbaric chamber - very handy! The best of all were the staff - Oscar, Felix and others in the restaurant and honestly throughout the hotel - were super nice, warm and friendly! They made our stay even more awesome! Totally recommend Antigua Casona San Blas!

I loved the property and the location. The spa was lovely and reasonably priced for a “resort” setting. The attention to detail in the room was impeccable. The bathroom was heavenly.

The front desk staff was a little sassy about some of our questions. Example, we were told the spa technicians would come to our rooms for our appointments. When they had not yet come to get us a few minutes into our appointment time, we went to the front desk to ask if we had misunderstood. The person working said, “Well you’ll still get your full time just from whenever you actually get started.” In most cases, this would be fine, but we were checking out and traveling that same day, so we needed to stay on schedule.
