Scrupulously clean. Greeted outside the door by Bernie and greeted in the breakfast room by name by a member of staff who hadn’t met me before. Really nice touch. My bed was as comfy as my own and room not too hot and shower very refreshing. Even provided a kettle and mugs a free bottle of water and more in the fridge. Plus beer and colas . Breakfast was freshly made omelette which was exceptional. So good I’ve change my final night stay to this hotel!

The only improves to provide a teaspoon to go with the kettle and mugs (I bring green tea and coffee with me so just missed the spoon.) others might appreciate a sachet of coffee and tea .

This is an exceptional property. Spotlessly clean and meticulously cared for. Lovely staff. (the owner is Canadian / Hong Kong Chinese. Compact twin bedded room with excellent, quiet air con and a large bathroom with hot water from the shower. Towels changed daily. Comfy beds and pillows. Reliable wifi. Simple but adequate breakfast with fruit. Only 10 minutes stroll from Parque Kennedy in Miraflores and easy access to the buses going north to central Lima. Lots of restaurants and bars to choose from in the local neighbourhood. Amazing value for money.

The room was really nice, but the bathroom exceeded expectations. The bathroom was complete! The bed was comfortable and the space was very nice and well planned. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Nice people. The location is perfect. The street is quiet with bars, restaurants, shops, markets, pharmacies. You can walk to the main points of Miraflores. Very nice neighborhood!

Breakfast is not really continental (like a basket of items). You arrive at the table and are offered coffee, milk, toast with eggs and juices. It is a modest breakfast, but it is enough. In general, we have noticed that in the hotels that we can afford in Peru, breakfast is essentially like this.

Excellent location from which to walk and explore the city. Facilities clean and very comfortable. Breakfast good. They happily packed us a breakfast on the day we had an early departure. They stored our luggage when we went on an overnight trip and had it in our room for us on our return. Staff were fabulous, very organised, helpful and friendly. They organised taxi’s to and from the airport for us and were extremely helpful on every front.

Could have provided tea bags and coffee sachets in the room although they did provide complimentary bottles of water.

Location : safe area, walking distance from different nice restaurants, parks. Calm : although it is close to the busy streets it is very calm. We had good nights sleep Friendliness of the staff : they are very accommodating. Since the first day they showed us what to visit in the area and other areas. They were always available at every hour. The nice warm showers : when reading comments about other hotels, I noticed that plenty of them do not have or have little hot water. Well in la luna you can have nice hot showers. Breakfast à la carte was included

The hotel I preferred, by far, for my whole trip in Peru in 3 weeks. What I liked: Really clean; Quiet: I really appreciated that it was quite quiet in the room and wasn’t hearing much of the hallway or the other rooms noise; - Breakfast was good; - Staff was very kind & thoughtful; - Location is very good too if you want yo stay in Miraflores (close to Kennedy Park, just over a kilometre to reach Love Park and other things). Overall, a really good place to stay and an amazing value!

Just a couple of little things I didn’t appreciate, but no big deal: - Even though the card was in the slot, the power was still going out after an hour. Probably just a problem for that unit. I noticed because when I woke up there was no power at all; - The shower made an annoying sound when hot water was turned on.

The most impressive of the hotel is clean, super neat and clean both at the room, bathroom & public area. Hosts are friendly, nice English and very helpful. The are came fro Hongkong, so can speak Cantonese if you like, but no Mandarin. Great location, quite room, easy walk to the park and beach, lots of cafes and restaurant nearby, easy walk to Bitel, Entel & Claro, if you need a sim card and banks nearby.

The wifi a bit weak inside the room at night, and get better during the day, that’s not a big issue.

Spacious rooms that came with a mini fridge which was useful. Extremely friendly and thoughtful owners who went beyond to help (offered maps, recommendations, packed breakfast bag for our early flight). Personable reception staff available 24/7. Freshly made hot breakfast (omelets or eggs). Consistent Wi-Fi. There's a large supermarket (Metro) around 10 minutes walk away which is very helpful.

Lack of main bin in room, only bin was in the bathroom. Could not get the radiator to turn on in one of the rooms.

Ayenda La Luna Inn was a fantastic place to stay. Just a few blocks from Kennedy Park, and also a short walk to the municipal bus station, this hotel is in great location that made commuting the Lima's highlights very convenient. Nearby is the neighborhood of colorful neighborhood of Barranco where you can grab a drink or just admire the scenes. The rooms were sparkling clean, well-lit, and spacious. Included is a space heater for when Lima becomes a little chilly in the evening while I was there. The staff were very welcoming and kind, and always had good tips on where to go. I would look forward to chatting with the hotel managers, Janet and Bernie, about where to go, what to eat, and other fun stories. Rose is the resident foodie, who filled me in on local Nikkei and Chifa cuisine. I noticed that many travelers would return to La Luna Inn, either after touring the Sacred Valley, like I did, or they had made there way here before. And that is because of the fantastic hospitality that makes you feel like you're home among friends.

All was excellent
