I have enjoyed my stay at the MGR which is a local family business. The room is the perfect size for a solo traveler, and the bathroom has a little wall separating the shower and the toilet (which is not common here). The balcony is nice to enjoy and relax with the beautiful and well maintained garden. You can sleep with open windows as there is a mosquito net in front of them and in the one in the bathroom. You can find a bar to hang your wet stuff on the balcony. The staff is very helpful and super kind. Side note, for 80 pesos you could order a nice coffee, brewed from fresh grounded beans at the reception. I would warmly recommend staying here! Very good price/quality! Thanks for the amazing 10 days of stay

Nothing - 100% happy :-)

The room is great! Super big and really large bed. The AC is very good and the hot shower is excellent. It’s a high standard for an island this size. It’s set in a quiet space with nice gardens, would stay again.

A few reviews on here talking about Starlink wifi (I’ve seen this advertised in a few places in PH), the wifi is just like normal, a bit slow tbh (but only because I had a high expectation after reading this starlink!) There is a 3% charge to pay by card. There is no fridge in the room. I booked a double deluxe room, the listing says 32inch smart screen TV but the TV has been removed from the room, the staff says they are only in super deluxe room now.

Our room was really lovely with a nice big comfortable bed, aircon and a nice bathroom with hot water. The resort itself is super beautiful with a well kept garden and a nice common area to chill during the day. There’s free drinking water and the breakfast wa nice. They even made us sandwiches for the days we went diving since we had to leave so early. The location is also great really close to the square with restaurants and BBQ stalls in the evening.

The soundproofing is not the best so we got woken up by neighbours and barking dogs a few times during our stay. Also the WiFi in our room was not the strongest. The laundry was a little more expensive than other places in the Philippines but it’s probably due to the fact that Malapascua is a tiny island with a limited water supply

Of all the facilities I saw on Malapascua, this was definitely the nicest. Only a short walk from the boat and central to everything

A really lovely resort close to the arrival port with spacious rooms, a comfortable bed, and good AC. Daily housekeeping was also offered. Breakfast was included, which was a real bonus. All staff were very helpful with day trips or any questions i had, etc. There was also a laundry service, which was great. The resort is very close to places to eat and only a short walk to a lovely beach! I would highly recommend staying here!

A swimming pool would have been lovely but I understand there aren't many of these on the island!

Everything was great it was very clean, quiet yet close to everything. Staff were very friendly and helpful. When we were starting early for a dive they made us delicious sandwiches for our breakfast to take with us. The breakfasts were really good. They warned us in advance about the blackouts and were very apologetic about them. However if you travel to remote islands this is to be expected and is certainly not the accommodation’s fault.

The resort exceeded our expectations and gave us a free room upgrade. The garden is beautiful, space is quiet, there is a free drinking water dispenser, and the room is fully equipped with a kettle, wardrobe and balcony drying rack. It's a short walk to both Bounty Beach and Logon Pier, and an even shorter walk to the market square. They also take credit card, which is a big plus!

The internet is very slow and the signal is quite weak. It only really works in the shared dining area. Breakfast options are limited for vegans (had to buy my own peanut butter to have with toast).

We really enjoyed our time at the Malapascua Garden Resort. Friendly caring team of people. They invited us to their Christmas party and it was lovely to meet the family running the business. Our stay was great, comfortable and all we needed and more. Breakfast was a nice touch. We had a great time here.

One thing I would point out is the tiles outside are very slippery when it rains.

Lovely little hotel! The hosts are helpful and friendly. The gardens are beautiful and green- A nice break from the heat. My room was nice and big with air conditioning and fridge. Room has warm shower and balcony for relaxing facing into garden. Nice peaceful location off the main tourist strip, but just 2 minute walk to beach, and close to night market. Also great small restaurant just around the corner called Bakhaw Kiwi with delicious local food. I really enjoyed my stay here!

The breakfast was a little late for me- from 7:30- so I didn’t get to try it. Otherwise perfect stay!

The hotel near is not far from the part and in the middle of the main area. The rooms are big and has all I needed. The staff was very helpful and help me any way he can

The breakfast was very poor and for any thing else that I wanted to add I been asked to add an extra money. Like for example: you can order coffee or juice. If you order juice you need to pay for the coffee and I’m not talking about cappuccino or espresso just
