I absolutely loved my stay at AABANA beach!!!! The place is RIGHT in front of the beach and the view from the room it’s insane!! Plus it’s surrounded by palm and trees and hammocks and it’s sooo peaceful!!! It’s only 10 minutes away from the port and the surroundings is fantastic, with everything you need just a few meters away!! Plus the owner was extremely nice and helpful, also helped me plan my day trip for the next day! Can’t forget to mention the amazing breakfast included in the price !!! I chose banana pancake which was so delicious and served with fresh mango!!! Absolutely 100% recommended and definitely coming back here for my next stay in Malapascua!

Nothing everything was perfect!

Right on the beach. Close to the night market for fresh fish in the morning. Next door to Evolution dive centre and Craic bar which has decent cocktails on 3 hr Hsppy Hour each day. Staff are really friendly.

The room was not cleaned regularly. There seemed to be no pattern and with the toilet bin, that was a bit of an issue.

Exceptionally clean, superb service, delicious breakfast. I also like the location, though far from the beach, but that's the beauty of the location, it is quiet, you get to see the locals do their livelihood, you get to relax more as it is from from the bustle. The gardens you pass through as you're about to reach your room was also surprising, I didn't expect it to be this nice, you get the beach and a garden plus an exceptional stay. I'll definitely come back with my partner :)))

I don't get to charge my phone when we're away from the room as you nee dthe keys to power the room, so if you'll leave your room and lock it, there will be no power. I guess it's understandable also as they're promoting sustainability, so it's all good.

Fantastic location right next to the beach and diving schools. We had the family suite, it was a very spacious and lovely hut. The location is very quiet and relaxing. It is also within walking distance to a night market that has excellent BBQ food. We enjoyed very much the beachfront as well, it was a great spot for stargazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Would recommend and come back again!

The resort is a little old and cleanliness can be improved. Water pressure of the shower is too weak.

The room and the toilet was very large and spacious, very comfortable. The breakfast was good, the staff was extremely nice and helpful. The location es good right next to the beach I could listen to the sea while sleeping, it is 5-10 minutos walking from the other main beach were all the dive centres are.

The fan makes a lot of noise.

Directly on the beach. Everything is walkable - you can walk from one side of the island to the other in 15 minutes. Or, there are always people around offering a motorbike ride for about 25pesos. There is also a strip of restaurants and dive resorts along this beach, the closest beachside restaurant is 2 minutes walk along the beach. Aabana offers a lovely, quiet set of guesthouses, and I loved that each one had a hammock for you to enjoy.

Blast from the past, original 70’s style resort. Because they did not change a thing, it is now retro style, frozen in time. Everything works, staff is the best ever, the madam boss the most beautiful friendly lady. Breakfast with the perfect beach view to remember. If you travel to complain about small things, do not bother, if you travel to enjoy yourself you will love it.

Greeted with welcome drinks (calamansi juice) which is sooo good & fresh. The room that we booked is surprisingly spacious and really nice tbh. all the staffs are very accommodating with all our requests, even the manager Acel is kind enough to prepare the bday dinner for my son in advance, keeps on checking on us if we need anything else. Had a little prob w/ our flight the 1st day since we missed our morning flight to cebu and had to rebook the same day in the afternoon, i asked Acel if she can move the date of our stay and she dis without a hassle. We extended our stay for another day because we want to get the most out of Malapascua haha! Thank you so much to the whole experience AABANA. We will be back for sure! 💓☺️

The beach in front is not really good for a swim since it has a lot of sharp corals and rocks, sea plants. Kuya Balt says it used to be raked before and properly maintained. Resort also needs a resto or a selection of foods/menu for the guests to choose from.

The room we had was really huge. We're a group of 6 pax and there's enough room for us to move around. The bathroom is outside our room and it's really huge too. It's recommendable for family or friend groups. It has a kitchenette outside.

The WiFi service or coverage is weak though you can rely on your mobile data instead. Their kitchen is not open for lunch and dinner. They only serve breakfast which was included on our stay. Our room too was a bit far from the beach front so we had to make sure we had everything we need before going out to avoid the trip back and forth. You need to rent the kitchen tools and it's a different charge for the utensils and plates. Also, another charge for using the gas range. It will be much cheaper to dine out instead.

The location is great, right in front of the beach in a quiet area with a beautiful soothing garden. The resort is about 7 minutes walk to the market where there are great food options as the hotel doesn't have a restaurant. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help with a smile. We booked several tours through the hotel and everything was great. We love the island and we will definitely stay at the resort again.

Wifi connection was bad but this is a small and remote island so it's understandable. A lot of ants and mosquitoes outside and inside the room but nothing that a mosquito spray can't fix. The bathroom smells bad all the time as the island struggle with a proper sewage system but perhaps the manager can do something about it? The included breakfast could be better.
