Our bungalow was just 10 steps away from the beach. The bungalow itself was beautifully decorated, it had a big, comfy bed and air conditioning, which was a lifesaver in the heat. The staff were angels and always ready to help out with anything we needed. They serve really good breakfasts here, and you can also get coffee and smoothies which were delicious. You can also reserve a trip or massage through reception. We asked for massage and after a couple of minutes two nice ladies came and we had massage right in our bungalow which was very convenient.

Beautiful small bamboo resort with private standalone rooms. Staff were lovely and very quick to help in any situation. The beach location was great for views which were stunning. Especially at sunset. Not far (5 mins) on a Trike to El Nido town. Nice bar right next door.

There is a construction site right next door which is very noisy in the mornings from 8am. This is not the fault of the resort but worth being aware of. The beach is not suitable for swimming or paddling, especially not for small children. The resort is in a residential area so there are children playing on the beach in front so maybe not so peaceful as some may wish.

Everything, the location is amazing with views of the sunset from the room and terrace, Sip bar is next door a fantastic chilled bar to watch the sun go down, there is an excellent Italian restaurant 2 minutes walk along the beach(Bellavita). The rooms are immaculately clean and well decorated and equipped and a nice space to be in, these are the best rooms we have stayed in during our 3 week trip to Palawan. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpfull. This place is great value for money.

I loved everything about Maligaya Beach Bungalows, but I have to say a special word for the staff, all of whom are at the top of professional and welcoming; Iyan and Bev really made me feel at home and special, more than in any place I've stayed before. They were so kind and helped organize everything I could possibly need, from kayaks to dinner to boat trips to massages. If you like massage, ask for Mika, a truly talented massage therapist. The breaksfasts, delivered to the room, were fantastic and beautifully prepared. The room (Bungalo 5), was stunning, spacious, comfortable and clean. The view directly on the beachfront can't be beat; and the attention to detail was exquisite. Overall, my stay was a total joy, far beyond expectations. I strongly recommend.

If only I could have stayed longer!

It was very easy to communicate with them prior to us coming to El Nido. The staffs were lovely, very accomodating and proactive with our needs (offered us beach towels when they knew we were going to the beach). The breakfast was worth it. The room is clean. One tricycle ride to and from town centre and few restaurants. The layout feels like it was meant for couples because the toilet and shower do not have partitions with the room.

The location is not a walking distance to town centre, but can ride a tricycle to get there. The beach nearby is not for swimming but only for the view.

We did not have breakfast but the staff were happy to cut fruit for us as there were no cooking or eating utensils in the room other than coffee mugs and tea spoons. The location was excellent with beach views on our doorstep and a well maintained garden on the property. A boat picked us up in front of the apartment for our island cruise and dropped us back in front of the apartment. The staff recommended very good restaurants that we enjoyed. The staff also provided umbrellas on rainy days.

The WiFi was very intermittent and we had to ask the staff on a number of occasions for their assistance. There was also limited internet access when using WiFi, so really no TV or access to movies.

We just love everything about the place! Close proximity to the town proper, the airport & the tour services for island hopping. Perfect relaxing setting like the way we want to feel that we are at home! We had the unit facing the beach (although not swimmable, there are several nice beaches that are just few minutes away to go out for swimming & snorkeling), it gives you the feeling of inner peace to be greeted by the sunrise when you wake up & the lovely sunset to enjoy at the end of your day. Best of all, we commend the hospitality of the entire staff who made our stay very homey & comfortable. We were treated very well with great respect! We have travelled all over the world, stayed in many different types of accommodations but these are the things you will never find in hotels—The treasure of having great staff in a home like atmosphere. Kudos to Miss Beverly & Miss Riza for making our stay GREAT!!!

Nothing so far! This place is great as it was proven by the great reviews by many guests! I would just like to say to guests like us, we should not find imperfections outside of our own homes when we are vacationing, but find the beauty in everything we experience so we can enjoy our vacation.

Amazing spacious & comfortable bungalow along the Corong Corong beach front. Excellent courtious staff. Short walking distance along the beach to numerous great restaurants and bars also along the same beach. Bella Vita was a our favourite, it has the best pizzas I've ever eaten anywhere in the world. Located mid way between the El Nido town centre and the picturesque Vanilla beach for more restaurants & bars, great swimming, and watching sunsets, it's only 10 minuntes either way by tricycle.

Unfortunately the beach itself outside of the Bungalow's is not really suitable for swimming, especially during low tide as this part of the bay is used for anchoring of many boats, and not as picturesque as Vanilla beach, but the many other pluses make up for this.

This is an amazing small and cozy boutique hotel on the outskirts of Corong-Corong. Really close to the port where all sea tours depart from and next to some of the best restaurants in the area (Sip lounge, Bella vita), it is just a short ride away from Vanilla beach or El Nido. The rooms are phenomenal, and so are breakfast options. The staff is incredibly professional and attentive and takes care of all our needs (transportations, tours, activities, etc.). The whole hotel setting is really beautiful, including the amazing view of the bay, be it middle of the day or the famous El Nido sunset.

Where can I start, when in came to El Nido we decided that we want a quiet stay really close to town and Maligaya Beach Bungalows was definitely the best choice. Staff: Beverlie & Ian have been amazing. We do travel the world but it was the first time we got such a warm welcome. Beverlie was kind enough to give us a lot of details on food, activities, laundry, tours and answer all our questions. She really loves what she does. The both of them would be a reason to come back to this little paradise. Room: The rooms are absolutely beautiful, they are just 5 in number. We got the one that was facing the beach and we had an amazing time. Really clean and comfy, they equipped with air conditioning and fans so you will more than survive the warm climate. Breakfast: There were available upon pay different sets of breakfast. Really nice choices and they bring them to your room upon time request with a creative touch. Loved it. Location: Just a 5 minute ride via tricycle from town located right on the Corong Corong beach. This beach is not amazing for swimming especially during the time of year we went (August 2023) but its the starting point of the tours you definitely want to do (Tour A, B, C & D). You can walk there no hustle. It is also a 3 minute beach walk (depending on the tide to a nice Italian Restaurant (Bella Vita). What can I say it exceeded our expectations. We are so happy we didn’t choose to stay in town. This way we had the relaxing and joyful experience we were going for.
