From the moment I booked my stay at La Boheme, I was pretty sure I would have had a great experience due to its beautiful and cosy bohemian style. It definitely exceeded my expectations. The ambiance has a beauty that pictures cannot capture, able to create an amazing and relaxing atmosphere allowing the guests to gather together and build a wonderful energy. The food. It was the best vegan, healthy, and organic cuisine I've ever had in life all over the world — thoughtfully prepared, super healthy and delicious, beautifully presented, and perfectly aligned with the hostel's vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, spreading love, warmth and kindness. Their genuine hospitality made my stay even more memorable.

I stayed here for most of my time in Siargao, and I truly enjoyed it. The warm atmosphere and friendly staff made it feel like home. Jesel and Ana, in particular, were incredibly helpful—not only answering my questions but also becoming unexpected friends during my stay. Since I worked the night shift, I appreciated feeling safe with a guard on-site. Even after moving to a different hostel, I made sure to stop by and say hello to everyone. Definitely try Soul Shack's cacao or brownie—Engkanto is my favorite!

First, General Luna is a paradise, just like the all Siargao island. If you look for a nature, sunny, beach paradise experience, I strongly advice you come here and check it out. The La Boheme´s staff is a plus. All the reception desk, Ana and Gisel, specially, and the people from the cafe - with so many delicious stuff to order, they were all so lovely and kind. It was hard to say Goodbye to such paradise, man... believe me. I miss you all, and the whole experience.

The place is very beautiful - especially the communal area! The rooms are spacious and the outdoor showers are fantastic. The pool area is great for the day. The new manager/ owner was very lovely and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this spot.

The woman managing the front desk was not very friendly and every time she was asked to assist us she made it sound like a chore and was not very professional or polite (borderline rude). Due to renovations we were not able to use the bar which was a pity and there were no communal bathrooms - although all of this should not be a problem once renovations are done. Also the air conditioner in the room is very load.

Wonderful place in Siargao and had an incredible experience. The location has a true paradise vibe, making it the perfect getaway. It is 5mins drive to the beach, allowing easy access to the beautiful shoreline and is pretty close to the famous Catangnan bridge which is one of the best sunset and sunrise location in the island . Siargao is one of a top island for the night life, so bars goes crazy at night especially in the GL main road, If you wanted to have a restful nights then you shouldn’t hesitate to stay here. And if you wanna go on a party, then nothing to worry because the Island is so small it will only take 7-10mins to reach the busy area or the GL main road where most of the bars are. The staff are extremely accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the island-inspired structures add to the overall charm. I originally booked for one night, but I loved it so much that I decided to extend my stay for an additional week. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Siargao.

I have a particular sensitivity to spaces and La Bohème is definitely a precious jewel I was magnetised to among the wide array of spaces offered around the island. I naturally found myself spending most of my days here, working, lounging, connecting with beautiful people, and enjoying the wonderful superfood at The Soul Shack - my daily dose of cacao, no fail! My heart sinks a little when they are closed haha! The La Bohème team holds a strong vision of sharing the island experience in a very heartfelt way and I always felt this when I am there. The staff are all very accommodating and have such a warmth in their presence. This place and the team has my heart.

The hostel is very nice, the room is simple and cosy, the bed is comfortable and the bathroom we had was outdoor and was beautiful. The location is perfect for those who don't want to be in the city, it’s a quieter area, so it’s essential to rent a motorbike. If you arrive and didn't have time to rent one, there are a couple of restaurants a few minutes walk away. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The air conditioner in the room makes too much noise. Unfortunately, as there is neither a window or a fan, it is difficult to sleep without it

The place and the staff radiate such a unique vibe and energy that clearly connects with the guests. The common areas are so welcoming that sometimes you don't even feel like stepping outside, which is a blessing on rainy days. Strong wifi, great music, healthy food, plus everyone smiling and radiating positivity, made my stay beyond enjoyable. A last-minute cancellation allowed us to upgrade from the dorm to the family room, which made everything just perfect. Very very grateful. Thank you very much indeed!

I only stayed 3 nights. Will come back for a longer stay next time.
