We liked everything. Really beautiful, good food and music. Restaurant is cool and chill. Room very clean and nice. So green. Great location except the road to the hotel.

I didn’t like that lots of people outside the hotel can come to stay all day long and the hotel and pool is really busy. You should say something before anyone book a room because it’s not good for everyone. They need to check the roofs of their rooms every night and morning we hear some animals running on the roof sounds like mouse’s or something like that. The road to the hotel from main road is horrible.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The free breakfast from their menu was delicious. The smoothie bowl was my favorite. The chef even came in early one day so she can cook our breakfast even before the restaurant open because our tour pick up was early. I liked the tropical feel of the hotel and the outside shower was a plus. The hotel style is more like a villa.

The street going to the location has lots of potholes. And the street was flooded but was not the hotel's fault. The city officials neglected the property owners in that area's plea for the road to be fixed and per the hotel owner they were willing to share in fixing the road. But nothing is being done by the city officials. I will stay in this hotel again if they fix the road.

Loved the interior design, the staff, the drinks and food were amazing, music was on point and the over all feel of the place was great. The rooms were super nice and cozy, the bathrooms were beautiful, especially the outdoor shower. Love that they give you a mosquito repellant to help with mosquitos. We have to commend Bybert, Jovel, Mark and Dee for their hospitality and making our stay super comfy.

The dirt path that led up to the hotel. It's very bumpy and difficult to drive on especially if you're not a confident driver on a motor bike. Also, when it rains little pools or mud form and become even more challenging to manoeuvre around even on foot.

The whole hotel is a charm, lovely common areas with pool and bar/restaurant with really cold beer!! The integration of the bedrooms around it is really nice and gives it a jungle feel. The room was clean and cosy, the bed and pillows were very confortable. The A/C worked well and the bedroom was cold and dry! The outdoor shower is a nice touch. Breakfast a la carte was excellent. We went through the menu to try several dishes and all were delicious. The same with the fresh fruit juice. All the staff were nice and helpful!

Just small details: In the room, we missed a couple of wall hangers for towels or wet clothes (only 2 in the toilet). The seal between the shower and the toilet should be reviewed. As other guests reported, the access road definitely needs to be improved, but it's nothing that would prevent me from staying in the Surfing Temple again. Even with heavy rain it was easy to ride over the puddles.

One of the best stays I had in the Philippines after 5 years living in the country. The food was outstanding. Professional quality, diverse and flavourful dishes at a competitive price. On top of it you have a very wide range of drinks, from beer and wine to unique cocktails! The room was very nice and stilish. I loved how the green light would come from the windows and the open shower making you feel like you are in a little retreat in the middle of the jungle. Comfort in the room is guaranteed, a big bed with good quality bedsheets and a silent AC and fan. The pool and deck area was beautiful, enjoyable and surrounded by vegetation. Perfect to take a break from the activity of the island and have some drinks and food while you sunbathe. Another highlight was deifinitely the staff. Kind, attentive and always available. They will solve any problem you have, just reach out to them to call a tricycle, rent a motorbike or any question about the island! From now on, Surfing Temple is a must for me if I go to Siargao. 100% I would recommend.

We‘ve spent some nights at the Surfing Temple and we really recommend this hotel. It’s a small stylisch boutique hotel with 5 beautiful designed rooms with an outdoor shower. Everything was very clean and the staff was very kind and helpful for all your belongings. The breakfast is served a la carte in their restaurant and you can choose from several good dishes! The hotel is located just a few minutes by a scooter from the most popular surfing spots and you can rent the scooter directly at the hotel for some dollars a day. In total the hotel is amazing. The staff was so friendly, excellent food and a really relaxed atmosphere. If we come back to Siargao we would choose the Surfing Temple again to enjoy the magical moments of this beautiful island!

A lovely oasis off the old road yet close enough to the action. The room was private, clean and comfortable, with great air-con and hot water. The pool and restaurant/bar facilities had a lovely aesthetic, and friendly staff. Yoga on the roof was a nice addition.

Not much!! There property was great versus others in the area but a few details were overlooked such as providing an extra toilet roll and a drying rack outside for wet clothes. The breakfasts and food quality wasn’t for me.

The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. They give you the feeling that anything is possible and they will try to come up with a solution for anything. The rooms are very well designed. The whole place feels like walking into a magazine. The menu of the restaurant is delicious and the included breakfast is amazing and the best we had in Siargao. Scooter rental / laundry / day trips: all easily arranged via the friendly staff.

The place lacks pricavy. In the morning the music for the breakfast area is too loud and woke us up multiple times. Also at Sunday there was a DJ at the pool area playing music that didn’t match the chill vibe of the place (dark techno) at all. This continued all day and your room is pretty much next to the pool, so no place to hide. Little to no WiFi in your room. Only at the restaurant/ pool area WiFi was ok. Airconditioning was pretty bad in one room, but the staff understood the situation and let us switch rooms to a room with better airconditioning. Good job!

Welcoming atmosphere, comfortable and clean rooms exactly as pictured. A good restaurant with varied all day menu. A helpful and super responsive front of house team, especially Dee and Joval made the stay so pleasant.

The road leading up to the hotel can be challenging to navigate with potholes and bumps it’s definitely tough to get through after heavy rain.
