The location is excellent if you want access to mactan newtown beach, which is free for guests. The pool is also excellent, and the gym facility. Also, beside the beach is a ferry to Olango Island. Go island hopping from there, its 1/3 of the price, and visit the Marine Sanctuary out on the Boardwalk. The staff were very accommodating and concierge always helpful.

First room I had did have a smell, but front desk will sort out any issue you have.

New and clean hotel. On the edge of Mactan Newton, with many restaurants etc within walking distance. About 20 min walk to Hilton Port.

Not very good at providing information without us having to ask about everything. For example, we didn't know until afterwards that we had free access to Mactan Newtown Beach, so we unnecessarily paid 650 pesos per person.

We stayed at the Belmont as we had an early flight in the morning and the location is perfect to get to the airport but it's far enough away from it that you don't hear the planes coming and going. It was nice and close to other eateries

We had dinner at the hotel and unfortunately the only place to eat was at the pool as the main restaurant had a function on and was unavailable for dinning. The food was lovely but the pool deck was very windy. It's a shame they didn't have another location.

Quality new hotel, excellent condition, great staff. Area is Mactan new town so lots of new construction going on, close to bars anc restaurants . Good spot for a couple of days when headed into Cebu to acclimatise . Airport 10 mins away 2-300 peso . Don’t get ripped off by taxi guys .. on tried to hit me up for 4k .. use GRAB to get real costs

Tge staffs were so helpful and active to help out with anything. The location may seem to be far if you want to go to Cebu city, but it was near the beach and in a very convenient and safe area of Mactan....love it

- entire area around is underconstruction, with no facilities - “the beach” is a concrete area with imported sand - restaurant is overly priced and sub-mediocre

We were hesitant to book at first after reading a couple of reviews but eventually decided to just book anyway. It turned out to be a pleasant stay. The size of the Superior Double Room was okay for us, decent enough. There were a lot of sockets and were compatible with types B, C, & G which were what we have for our devices but I believe could accommodate more types. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We did not try the buffet as we don’t typically eat breakfast. Was a bit hesitant after reading the reviews and I am very particular with the taste as I myself cook but we have tried the ala carte menu and was surprisingly good especially everything in the special Sampaguita menu, Romesco Chicken, Pork Humba, Mussels in Wine, (pastry for the apple pie was slightly undercooked but taste was okay). Plus ALL the staff were really nice, friendly, polite, and always greets you with a smile.

The first thing that we noticed was the smell im the bathroom. It most likely came from the drain, quite strong but decided not to make a fuss about it as it was our last hotel towards the end of our Cebu holiday. We still had a great view especially in the evening, there was no disturbing sound although we were at the corner room in the 19th floor. We just bought Glade gel for the room & the bathroom plus another Glade spray to manage the smell im the bathroom. There was also a faint smell inside the elevators. The mini fridge/chiller was not working at first but was fixed immediately after we called. There were a few times it takes several rings, and twice we had to call a second time before they pick up your call even when not on busy hours.

The hotel was very near to the airport. All of their staff were very polite and accommodating. Rooms very clean and housekeeping services come everyday and provide new towels or replenish tea/coffee/bottled water in the room. Convenient stores, groceries, and restaurants are also very close to the property..and their breakfast buffet was one of the very best I tried! Amenities like private beach, shuttle services to private beach, pool, gym, bar, and spa services were also available.

However, if you want to explore more of Cebu, I find it too far from the center of the attractions. Also, the only thing we didn’t like was their slow serving of food during lunchtime..we waited almost an hour though there were appetizer buffet available that time but still not worth for the price.

Great hotel overall, we weren’t planing on visibly Cebu city or Mactan so location for us was adequate

The staff was super friendly and the location of the hotel is very convenient with restaurants etc. close by. In addition, it's within walking distance to the private beach, next to a free shuttle that runs every hour. Private beach was very nice and even featured free wifi. Also, the room was spacious enough for two people.

The air-condition did not seem to work properly and was very noisy. The breakfast was not so much our taste as it hardly featured international/continental breakfast.
