The room is clean and location is right

We ask for 1 room late check out. Out of the 4 rooms But reluctantly gave us 1 hour (1pm) got to keep asking than gave 2pm. We checked in 4 rooms at 9pm. Cannot give and take. I just ask for 1 room for late check out at 3pm. Say must pay 1/2 day rate.

Great location with lots of restaurants nearby and a 30-minute walk to the Greenbelt. Very good gym ... quite large with plenty of free weights and a number of fixed weight and cardio machines. Lovely rooftop pool ... can have drinks at the pool but, unfortunately, not while you're in the pool. Loved the breakfast ... eggs to order, fruit, cereal and the best hot chocolate I've ever had.

Menu at the rooftop restaurant was awful ... basically oily unappealing food. If you're into cheap hot dogs, chips and oily fast-food, you'll probably like it.

Mostly of the staffs are nice, room size was okay.

1. The area, a lot of hook.rs day and night. My husband and I wasn't expecting this at all. 2. I called downstairs and needed something, and they forgot all about it. I have to call back to follow up about after an hour of waiting. Not only one incident but twice. (Stayed in the hotel 4 nights 7/5-7/8 and 7/8- 7/9). 3. The cold water wasn't working in our room and I already notified the housekeeping but still. So we have to shower with hot water only.

Room located at a higher floor was great experience to have viewed Makati’s skyline on the other side .Room was very clean and comfortable .Breakfast was delicious and have variety of foods to choose from . Staff were all welcoming, courteous and always there and willing to help you out .Paulo and Benson are two great guys . We had enjoyed our 4 days stay and I would definitely recommend to friends . Thank you all staffs of City Garden Hotel for making our stay worth remembering . Mabuhay !

All the staff are very polite and helpful, very evident that they have trained their staff professionally well. They are always quick to respond to our request at any time of the day. I truly appreciate it that they have done us a favor in allowing us to check in earlier than our schedule as our flight was early in the morning. The location is fantastic as it is surrounded by a lot of restaurants, grocery stores and other establishments. Food was superb and variety of choices. We love the bed also its very comfortable and huge.

Our toilet bowl was broken but they fixed it immediately.

the property is in the city center, you can roam around the city hassle free. the staff are accommodating and nice. Ken, Cleo, and LJ help us with our check in, they even upgrade our room so that there's a bed for my daughter and we can have a nice view of the city. Deyn, Clark, and Jini help us with our smooth check out. The guards and the bellboy are amazing as well very helpful. Kuya Francis assist us and help us with the parking of our car. kudos to City Garden Hotel.

Wonderful staff. Very accommodating and professional. Deyn was very helpful and helped up every day with anything we needed. The door man at departure on morning shift on 5/28 was so nice and helped us with all our luggage and helped all my family and child with transportation.

It could be newer or updated for the future, but I was really happy with our stay and our rooms, though it wasn't brand new, it was very comfortable.

This hotel is located in a really buzzing area of Manilla. No need to be bored after a long day of.. relaxing. The rooms are comfortable, big and very clean. Beds are very nice, so is the bathroom and the shower. Breakfast is very good with alot of options. Eggs in many shapes, (go fur sunny side up cause thats the chefs personal favourite), coffee freshly brewed, cheese, pastires, rice, fish, bread, juice, yogurt, there is enough for everyone's choice. But what makes this hotel really great is the staff working here. They are really going the extra mile just to make you feel home as a guest. That is why this hotel is for me my second home in Manilla. From reception to restauant and pool, all the staff members have been truely great towards me during my stay. They are all very professional, friendly, quick, and if you are open to it the staff is always willing to make a (personal) talk with you. Especially if you stay for a few days. There is a rooftop bar and swimming pool with good food and a great view of the Manilla skyline. Swimming pool is very clean, refreshing and the hottub is a well liked place even on a hot day! My special thanks after my stay will go to: Bennie: The pool master. What a great man! We talked alot, I learned a bit about his personal life and we made a great selfie on my last day! He was always in a good mood, always helpfull, always in for conversation and so friendly! If we lived in the same country I am sure we could have become close friends. I miss him already! Raisy: The young lady working in the restaurant next to the pool. She is ment to be in the hotel business. So professional, but yet friendly, caring towards the customers, quick in service and advise, We also had good conversations and she is a lovable young woman. I am so happy the way she made me feel comfortable always. With a bit of humor and a smile, always she made me smile at the end of the day when I enoyed a cold (or more) beer!

My thanks also go to Unor (maybe spelled wrong) Jeannie (maybe also spelled wrong) From the reception. They were so kind, and so helpfull. Even with them I had a personal tough, because when I came back on the night of my flight the even remembered my name! After 2 weeks! Thank them as well. Downsides? Only two things: - Evevators are really slow. But you cannot changee that. - The rooftop bar and pool should be open every night untill 12/ 1 in the night.

The staff were extremely helpful. They went above and beyond for us during our stay especially when my little one would get up at 5 in the morning coz of jet lag and ask for food, I had pandesal that needed cooking and they heated it up for us, it was honestly so great having such hospitable staff. The rooms were cleaned everyday, there was water, tea & coffee which they were happy enough to top up when you’ve run out.

loved the staff they were amazing and friendly, real stars of my 3-week leisure trip to Manila. I planned to stay at CG Hotel Makati for 10 days but only stayed a few. I actually transferred to their sister hotel across the street CG Grand Hotel, for the bigger bed. I really liked the breakfast buffet at Hotel Makati even more than the CG Grand Hotel buffet, the bacon was amazing and crispy, orange juice which is hard to find, good potatoes. Plus the rooftop restaurant was quaint and quiet, and they had an amazing braised beef dish I went back a cpl times just for that lol. Hotel Makati is the older of the two but it's still a great hotel with alot to offer.

It just need some updating in the rooms mainly the showers but it's all good the price is perfect and everything else more than makes up for it.
