Really cute little jungle hut with sitting area just in front (our hut had a view on the forest), which gave us the feeling of a little adventure. Comfortable bed. Super friendly personnel and availability for motorbike rental, bout tour or van bookings here. Definitely enjoyed our stay a lot!
Bit of a basic and small breakfast. It's still a hut so do expect some bugs, eventhough there were musquito nets. Also the wooden floor did feel dusty and there was only cold water to shower with. Furthermore there are a lot of noisy roosters around this area. The location is a bit further from town, but easy tricycle arrangement or even walkable.

We loved staying at Backpacker's hill! Our host was so friendly and helpful with good recommendations and booking tours/trips. I loved that it was a bit further away from the main tourist zone, making it a more peaceful and authentic place to stay. It was really easy and pleasant to walk into the main area to see all the sights (about 10-15 min). the location is stunning! A wonderful stay in Port Barton.
Nothing! We loved our stay. :)

Great lush location and friendly hosts: I wish I stayed longer!
I did not know the property had dogs when booking. I have dog-phobia but I managed to overcome this as their dogs tend not to attack guests. And I honestly can say the same about the brood of stray dogs at Port Barton and indeed Palawan. So one way or another I had to make peace with this. And I did.

The location was not that close to the center, but very quiet and peaceful. I would recommend a scooter, but I think that’s obviously then u book it. The cabins are clean, nice and comfty. The fan is working good. They also have a hammock under the hut. The breakfast was also okay. The owner or the stuff (we are not sure) are very very friendly and the kids are very cute. The garden was beautiful and green! They sell water for refilling for a reasonable price.
Nothing!

The resort was beautiful with a great view from the hill, cabins were lovely and comfortable - given how cheap it was I was amazed I had a whole cabin to myself (as well as its own bathroom). Lots of adorable pets on the property and the owners were really friendly.
Could have been a few more different options at breakfast and serving sizes could have been a bit bigger The path up to the resort is very dark at night - could do with some lights or something along the way

The place is 10-15mn from the town center very noisy so it's a good compromise to stay if you like quiet place. There is a bar restaurant at 2mn walk if you want to get dinner close to. The breakfast included was good and if you are dogs and cat's friendly, there is your place! I had my bodyguard sleeping at night in front of my door ;) The room are similar to the picture, i like the bathroom and i was suprised by the bed which was conformable. Also the team was very arrangeant. I had to leave the town at 5PM they keep my luggage and allow me to take a shower in their own bathroom before to leave !
Nothing.

Norma made me feel home since the very first moment I arrived and she's been so helpful in arranging all my trips and activities. I would definitely go back. Very relaxed and laid back atmosphere
I actually liked this point, but I 'd ask to please consider that this is an accommodation for nature lovers. Don't expect wifi and warm showers, but do expect butterflies visiting your room from time to time (mosquito nets are efficient though) and other wonders of Palawan

Really nice and quiet place in the nature. You can experienced the Filipino traditional house called Kubo, it feels like you sleep in the nature but there’s one bar near here, you can also hear some music too. And you can see real local village on the hill and people are always nice. And the host lady, Norman is so nice and caring I feel really comfortable like home. I already miss there so much.😭 See you next year, take care until we meet again~😇🙆🏻♀️
it’s nature, you shouldn’t put food in the room, some animal and insect will visit you😅

Staff were very friendly and welcoming always had a smile on their face. Short distance to middle of port Barton/ beach and at night was really quiet. Breakfast included was lovely.
Initial walk to the property was a workout especially with backpacks. Roosters made quite a lot of noise in the morning would recommend earphones

Loved the location as it was out of the main area but close enough to walk. The hut was perfect - basic but still with a shower and flushable toilet - & the owners were so so lovely and accommodating.
It would be nice if the breakfast choice was a bit different than just eggs & toast with a banana everyday :)
