Great location right next to the bus station so we didn’t have any problems transporting our bags when arriving or departing. The property is a short 5-minute walk to the beach and a short walk to anywhere you want to go in Port Barton. The bungalow was great; completely clean and felt very private. We never heard any of the other neighbors while in our room. The staff left us coffee on our balcony each morning which was a nice touch, and they were very helpful and responsive via chat when we had any questions about our stay. We ended up extending our stay here and I would definitely stay here again next time I visit Port Barton

The road to the property is unpaved and quite muddy after it rains, so you have to be careful not to slip.

The owner was such a lovely person, always available to help us with any questions! He brought us coffee every morning which was a nice treat. We could also rent a scooter with him. One day we had a little scooter crash and he was truly worried about our well-being and didn’t make a fuss about the broken mirror. So he is just a very nice guy. The room itself is simple but clean and has a quiet AC- the quietest we had on our trip in the Philippines. So thumbs up!

The room was a little dark and the mattress a bit hard, but that’s complaining on a high level😅

Such a lovely stay. I can understand how the ratings are so high for this accommodation. The owner goes above and beyond to help you with everything during your stay ! He organises tours and transport with discounts and is more than happy to help with everything. The room itself is perfect. Clean and comfortable with a newly fitted aircon. Beautiful balcony to sit out on with gorgeous scenery. Every morning we had a lovely surprise of coffee and hot water on our balcony which was so comforting.

Only small issue we had was the WiFi was not great, but didn’t matter to us as everything else was brilliant

Very nice and friendly hosts, they allowed us to cook. They rented a motorbike at a very good deal. Great location just behind the bus station and a few blocks away from the beach. They gave us every morning hot water thermos with coffee! It had hot water.

The WiFi wasn't good. The town has an electricity shortage very often. It would be nice having an alternative electricity supply for charging a battery and having a fan while it came back. It can be added mosquitoes net.

The owner helped us a lot with reserving tours and helped us to get discounts. We rented a scooter from Jeno cheaper than rentals on the street. Jeno is very attentive and helped us with everything in Port Barton. The room was comfortable and we asked for AC, because the days were hot. Good price for value. Definitely recommend.

I loved the cottage-like feel of the room with the bed facing the front window and the seating area out front. I enjoyed the small touches like waking up to hot water and coffee ready to go in the morning. The staff were so friendly and we had great conversations. I enjoyed the quiet of the location. It's a 3 minute walk to the beach and it's right beside the van station for getting to and from. The room was clean and there's hot water. What more do you need?

I wish there was air conditioning because I got quite hot at night but the fan did help!

Can't recommend this place enough. Butch the owner is really helpful but also just leaves you to it and gives you space which I really liked. The room was comfortable and exceptionally clean, especially because it is cleaned every two days which is incredible. The location is ideal, walking distance from the van terminal (even with a 20kg backpack) and also so close to the amazing reggae bar Native'bo

Loved everything, I will be staying again!

Our stay here was the highlight of our time in the Philippines. We ended up staying in Port Barton for two weeks instead of two days, purely because of how much we enjoyed staying here. Little kitchen that you can cook at and coffee set outside your room for you every morning. Butch is the most wonderful guy and was so helpful, when we return we wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else. The best accommodation in Port Barton for an amazing price! Book it, you won’t regret it!

We loved our stay here! One of our favourite places on our travels so far. The pictures online do not do it justice!! The rooms are a good size and clean, and everything in the rooms are new! The building has only been completely recently so the whole place is like new. The garden area and patio was lovely to sit out on (every room has one too!). We were given coffee on our table every morning to wake up to which was a nice touch. There is free coffee and water available anytime. There is also a small kitchen area that is clean and you are able to cook basic meals. It is close to the bus terminal (2 min walk) and less than 5 mins to the beach! Lots of small shops and restaurants around but perfect location away from any noise. Thank you Butch so so much! We had a great time!
