It’s 4 minutes away from the pier, best place to stay if you’re getting the early ferry to another island. The private shower was super cute, outside, didn’t try to use the heater as fresh is best. Fan was enough, no need for air con. Mosquito net is given and did the job. The pancakes for breakfast were so so nice, best free breakfast we’ve had so far. My partner enjoyed the bacon and egg sandwich. We also got given a blue flower tea, where you can eat the petals and turn your drink pink with fresh calamansi.
There wasn’t anywhere to hang the clothes, we had a bunch of wet clothes and had to hang them over the flower pots. No issue but would of been a perk. No toilet seat, common in the Philippines but I find it weird not sitting down on the toilet lol. There’s loud music and dogs barking, which wasn’t an issue for us but would be if you’re a light sleeper. You don’t get free tea or coffee with your breakfast, I think it’s a bit rude to charge 80 pesos extra when it’s included. Not a great location if you’re travelling to the waterfalls and the good areas of the island, this is best for the early morning pier run.

I like the whole ambience of the place. Lush green surroundings, healthy plants, very homey and comfortable. Like staying at one's own house with a lovely garden. I love how the recycled reclaimed materials were incorporated on the landscape of the place. Love the local Filipino touches. On the realistic side, it is good they have drinking water dispenser available for the guests, free breakfast, shampoo and soap provided. The owner, Mr. Patrick is friendly and helpful. Location is superb too as twas just a walking distance to Siquijor Blvd, Siquijor Port, Siquijor Port Beach & Canal beach and town proper. At night, you can actually see the stars.
No dislike for me

Location, close to the pier but out of busy street. The house/room is giving you a sensation that you live in the rainforest. Very good breakfast. Staff is amazing; kind , helpful, and ready to make your stay stressless. The owner is very helpful. Patrick was driving us to some places instead of tuktuk for the same if not better price . You can rent a scooter and the prices of trips around the island are the same as for your private arrangements. The bathroom without the roof is the best. No AC, only fan. Highly recommended if you want to have experience different from usual hotel.
There is not much space for your clothes. Some hooks and 1 small shelf only, but for me, it was enough. I travel light 🤣 . The bed is just classic double. If you are big, it could not be enough for two.

In love with Siquijor and I'm very much in love with this place too. They offer free breakfast and the food is actually sooooo good and they also offer coffee with many options. As a breakfast enthusiast and coffee girlypop, I'm satisfied with my experience food wise. The staff are very accommodating, super nice and kind. The place is very cool well ventilated and nice water pressure. The room provided our needs - enough electrical socket, electric fan is good and the bed is very well. The place is very accessible and walking distance to boulevard (for night stroll and food trips) and the central area (incl. port, cafe)..I miss their dogs!!!!

Payag n Kapitan is a very good place, Highly recommended! We checked in around 8PM because we got the last trip bound for Siquijor. Very near the Boulevard which we were able to stroll the next night and very accessible, you can ride tricycle and the drivers definitely know this place. Staff are very very accommodating and kind. They're very good with our requests and we feel secure. Our room is one of a kind - cabin minimalistic yet enough for our needs. Water pressure is good, bathroom is superb. Room is very clean despite of having plants inside. Well ventilation as well. I am kinda missing their dogs and cats so I'm really looking forward to come back here.

Loved every minute! Arrived before check in and our room was already ready. Robin sat with us and showed us a map of the island and gave us lots of recommendations! He introduced us to all of his family, dogs included. The hospitality given to us was 5🌟 and we really felt like family! We are already planning our return trip! The breakfast was amazing also! The best hotel breakfast we have had in the Philippines! We also rented a motorbike which was the cheapest we had rented so far. The people, the atmosphere and the hospitality are all amazing.
Nothing!

Such a great place to stay, so glad we did. Right near the port, super friendly people, we had a great nights stay. Exceptional value for the price we paid. Great setting as very green and natural, felt like we were away from everything. We did see some comments about roosters walking you up early but that is exactly the sort of place we wanted, natural and very chilled. We definitely stay here again
Everything was great

We liked very stylish accommodation: wooden chalets wit amazing outdoor bathroom/shower with beautiful big green plants. And also all setting was ful of green. Very beautiful. It is also perfect, that is just 600 m from the port, so if you come late evening or early morning - still fine to walk in. No need for taxi/moto. It is very safe location. Owner very helpful and was nice to talk to. Place offer scooter rental for cheep price - good option for exploring the island. This part of the Siquijor is in the village - very quiet after dark. It is opposite to southern beaches site (that is touristy and noisy). We understand that not everyone looks for quiet place, but we loved it.
Well, acoomodation offers complimentary breakfast for Genius 2 level. But it was quite a surprise that the complimentary is only one plate (some nice selections of them). Coffe and shake was not complimentary but for extra money. It is not big deal, but on other places "the breakfast" usually consists of plate + at least coffee. Would be nice to make cit clear before.

We spent 3 nights here and it was fabulous. This place is so peaceful and the rooms comfortable. I loved the outdoor bathroom with shower in the open, which made showering in the morning and evening so refreshing, even with the rain. The owner is super nice and he made sure we had everything we needed. One night he invited us to celebrate Fiesta with him and his friends and it was really fun! The location for us was great since we wanted to be near Siquijor Port (10 min walk). This place is 20 min on a scooter from S. Juan that has all the main bars and restaurants. We would definitely come back here.
Nothing to report

It’s really a nice place in the garden, with all nature around. The owner is really nice and breakfast and coffee are delicious. You can rent a scooter for 350 (per 24 hours), what you should do to explore beaches, waterfalls and so on. There are some nice simple restaurants in walking distance.
The huts are quiet small, also the double beds. And it can be noisy with the dogs around and the ventilation going (if you need it). But its a great experience.
