We absolutely loved our stay there and would definitely come back! The place has a lot of charm, the surrounding buildings offered a chance to see some interesting art which looked brilliantly in this setting. The restaurant served delicious food that you could have in the "ruin" garden, which I found extraordinary. For me, it could even stay that way. Breakfast was also very, very good! The receptionist/waitress who checked us in was very friendly and welcoming, too. The last word about the lovely cats that live there - it was just purrfect ;)

Maybe a little word of encouragement for some shy members of staff serving food or doing the checki-out - don't be afraid to engage and ask your guests how their food or stay was :)

It's a peculiar place, with still a lot of renovation to be done (but we knew this). It's an idyllic setting. Rooms are comfortable, the castle is beautiful and we also had a nice dinner. I hope they will succeed in restoring the grandeur of this castle.

Since we arrived late nobody was at the reception anymore, all outside areas were quite dark (no lights) and it takes some effort to find your room. It's a pity there is no bar (or even an honesty bar) because the place is very remote with no option to have a drink or a bite after 20:00, so you need to prepare yourself and buy drinks upfront somewhere else. They have a fridge in the room, but is is so small and tiny you hardly can put something in.

Castle Sarny is an intriguing historical location with an amazing atmosphere that really transports you back in time. The restaurant serves great food, and breakfast is good as well.

The rooms are pretty average and the place feels a bit overpriced for what you get. One downside was the staff's relaxed attitude towards animals in the restaurant. We even saw outside cats fighting during breakfast, which was quite off-putting. Despite this, the unique setting and overall experience still made it a memorable stay.

The highlight of our stay at Zamek Sarny was the excellent food! No matter if breakfast or dinner, everything was extraordinary. The restaurant, the dining terrace, and the hotel room have beautiful harmonised stile and are furnished very tastefully. We felt very positive vibes all the time. The staff is very pleasant and friendly! The whole project of rescuing an old castle and all belonging buildings is still on its way and will take a few more years. We will definitely come again to see the progress. It was a fascinating experience!

The way between room and restaurant was far too long and uncomfortable. Especially in the rain, because it wasn't just one building. Also, we were expecting that the accommodation would be directly in the castle, which wasn't the case. The castle is more o less just a coullisse. But the room itself is lovely and corresponding with the pictures in Booking.com.

Very nice and quiet place. Beautiful decorated, delicious breakfast. Great base to explore “Dolina Klodzka”. Caffe with delicious coffee and cakes for evening rest. Definitely will come back.

Only 1 chair in the room, old uncomfortable “sofa “, no place to keep language, no bathroom space. Compare to other places on our trip, this one was on the pricey side.

The accommodation is located in a smaller, fully renovated building within the castle complex, not in the castle itself. Most of the property is still under renovation but the parts that have already been renovated are absolutely stunning, mixing the old with modern design. We were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast which offered both hot meals that were freshly prepared, and a buffet. The cheeses and hams were of excellent quality!

Everything was perfect, we were just a bit worried about the blankets when we arrived. They were really thin and it was quite cold. We would recommend replacing the current one with a warmer option for the winter or add spare ones in the room.

WOW. Truly, such a wonderful place to stay. It's close to many little towns with great food and many awesome hiking areas. The breakfast here is out of control. It's truly one of the best breakfast spreads I have ever had. Plus, the rooms are nice and comfortable. Really awesome - we would absolutely stay here again. Fantastic value for money.

There's truly nothing to dislike. One thing to note: the reception closes early, but they're able to handle late check in.

This place it truly wonderful, the ground are very spacious and very special. The restaurant interior is breathtaking and the breakfast ist one of the best I have had in Poland, furthermore the restaurant also serves done dinner which very tasty and Devine. On the grounds of the Castle is also a very lovely coffee place with and open fire and wonderful coffee/teas and amazing cakes. This is a great place to visit we can really recommend it.

Charming historical place! Garden, castle and the spirit of the castle. Friendly and helpful staff. Very tasty food. Guests should understand that the place is under the renovation yet. Rooms with mountain view (Swiss House) are to the road side, so you will hear not only the birds, but the cars as well.

Zamek Sarny is one of these places that make you want to come back immediately after you leave. It is, in short, absolutely amazing, great value for money. Staying in Zamek Sarny is an experience. It is a prefect place to discover the local region. Go to the hotel's coffee shop (kawiarnia) and ask for the excellent local beer. Have a look at books they sell: some of them were written by authors who live locally (including a Polish noble price winner Olga Tokarczuk, a regular in the hotel). Try out the local cuisine in their restaurant. Feel the ambience of the castle ruins in the evening. Enjoy an excellent Polish breakfast in the morning. The hotel itself is very well located. The rooms are spacious and tidy. The bed is very comfortable. They get all the details right. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The owners bought the ruins of Sarny castle and are slowly rebuilding it. It is half-way there which makes it extremely unique: you probably never seen anything similar in your life. Also, your stay there supports their dream of having the castle fully renovated in the future. I wish them good luck and I will be coming back many times!
