A breathtaking view from the top of the hill to wake up to, although it's a windy way up! The facilities were clean, and the room had great built-in closets and seating areas. The bar was open and relaxing! Breakfast offerings were delightful, including unique jams!

The bed was two twins together, and the pillow situation could be improved. While breakfast was delightful, I got there at the tail end and much was gone. Get there a little earlier for the best selection.

The view is amazing! Beautiful views over Zêzere, with plenty of quiet and nature around. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and contributed to some lovely days. The double bed room with river view is nice and spacious, the bed is very comfortable! Breakfast was also really nice, has many options (even soy milk).

Perhaps some details could be improved, such as the gym machines available, or the snooker table. Perhaps because the hotel is already a few years old, you can see that these are details that have not been improved over time and have clear signs of a lot of use. But you can still use them, and other than that, the hotel is lovely. Recommend!

The location is superb, the pool is lovely and clean. The breakfast was great. Pedro at the Reception and Carlos from the restaurant were excellent! The food was delicious.

The room needs work: toilets seats are worn out, drains smell, curtains in the shower have mould. The coffee machine at the breakfast is poor- perhaps it needs filters clean. Rooms had only 3 hangers per room, and no ironing board available request: Reception team did their best to find one for us.

The location was fabulous. We booked the basic room which was clean and adequate for our two night stay. The staff were really friendly. The breakfast was okay but there were a few things which they could of improved upon.

The coffee and tea machine in the breakfast area was in need of an overhaul. It was so slow, there was always a queue, and the toaster wasn’t a lot better. Although the food was good.

Very nice hotel. The rooms are spacious, well designed, and with high-quality furnishings. Ample terrace with a great view overlooking the lake, wrapping two sides of the sitting room. There was a smaller balcony from the bedroom as well. The breakfast was also very good. The front desk person who checked us in was very polite and helpful.

We came to this hotel due to the good reviews and the stunning location and magnificent view of the lake. The staff were really friendly. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was good even though a little disjointed with its layout. We would definitely come here again.

This isn’t a really a dislike, but would of liked coffee and tea making facilities in the room.

This is exceptional value for money! The pool area is quite pleasant and the room&bathroom are spacious. Rooms and overall facilities are slightly outdated but still comfortable and family friendly. There's complimentary towels to use by the pool and breakfast is fair (could have more local produce, especially cheeses, but has reasonable choice). Surroundings are beautiful peaceful and quiet. Staff was very helpful and thoughtful even though it was clear they were short-staffed There's a pool and fuzeball table for entertainment and a pleasant outdoor area for reading, relaxing and just chilling. We had dinner at the restaurant (mushroom risotto & steak with pepper sauce) and although tasty, it was a bit pricey (might be worth exploring the nearby restaurants given the excellent choice you have in Portugal)

Cushions could be better and more comfortable and having a coffee/cappuccino machine at breakfast.

I loved the amazing views. The room was nice. Huge comfortable bed and lovely balcony with lake views. We enjoyed a game of pool before dinner but unfortunately the weather wasn’t good enough to use the pool.

The bathroom was a little shabby. There was no plug for the bath. There was no coffee maker. There was no access to the lakes which was very disappointing.

Beautiful property, amazing views to the lake (sunset included!), great pool area. Highly recommend the restaurant - we had a delightful dinner: great food/ wine selection; not overpriced. Snooker table and bar to wrap up a pleasant night. Breakfast was also great - many options to choose while enjoying the view. Friendly staff. Big parking area. Strategic location to visit Aldeia do Mato river beach - also recommend driving a little further to Fontes river beach (new deck with a great bar there!) and to Penedo Furado river beach.

If there is something that can be improved would be the outdated room decor. Room and bathroom were huge! Bed was super comfortable! Just with a small renovation to make the rooms more modern would transform this hotel in a true 4-star! Otherwise, it's pretty good already. Would definitely come back.

Excelent place to stay, with amazing views and great service. The personnel are as nice as it gets, breakfast is very good and the room is large and confortable. As a plus, it has 2 parking places with EV chargers, which is a plus.

Some parts of the room (carpet and toilet sink) were showing their age and should be considered to be replaced when possible. Otherwise, everything was just perfect!
