This quirky little hotel is bright and cheery. The breakfast was plentiful. Staff was very friendly and offered a map with suggestions and discount for the Moliceiros. Location is fantastic! Right beside the market and an easy walk to the canals and shopping. Our room was clean and bathroom had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Overall, this little hotel offers great value for the money. We're budget conscious travellers and loved it.

The wifi signal wasn't very strong, so we had to come down to the public area to use my laptop. The staff rebooted for us. It was sufficient for our cell phones though.

I was able to access my room very early. The staff was very helpful. They have a Nespresso machine and the price for coffee is great with many options to choose from. The hotel itself is located just across the street from fruit and vegetable market hence the name Mercado.

There was very little i didn't like. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Aveiro. Pretty much everything is within walking distance.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the hotel, and I'd love to share my experience. Reception/Check-In: The staff were welcoming and very attentive. They provided me with a map of the area highlighting the main attractions, which I found incredibly useful. Although Aveiro is not huge, I was new to the area, and the map made me feel more confident about exploring the city. Room: My room was a delightful surprise, matching the photos perfectly. It was airy and, while not super spacious, it was perfectly formed. The room was impeccably clean and well-appointed with modern amenities that catered to all my needs. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the availability of extra pillows was a bonus. I always feel a bit shy to ask for extra pillows, but in this case, I didn’t need to. What can I say? I love to sleep with plenty of pillows! Location: The hotel's location is very good. It's not exactly in the centre but only about 5 minutes from where the Moliceiro boats are located. It offers easy access to the centre, a shopping centre, and lots of dining options within a 5-10 minute walk. I chose not to have breakfast at the hotel as I love to go to local coffee shops, so I can’t comment on that. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting. It’s a very good value for money option that promises comfort, convenience, and attentive staff.

Compared to the very compact room at the hotel in Lisbon, the room at this hotel was larger and the price was lower, which we couldn't help but like. The European breakfast was very good. You can also pay for some snacks at the reception outside of breakfast time. The hotel's location is within walking distance of local attractions. A leisurely walk is highly recommended. The hotel staff is very friendly. A pleasant gentleman at the reception recommended a good restaurant for dinner. The veal steak there was simply amazing. However, the traditional bean soup with octopus chunks might be an acquired taste. ;-)

There was some construction work taking place on the side of the hotel where our room was located. But reconstruction should happen at some point. Guests should be attentive to the check-in time at the hotel, as the staff is not available 24/7.

Amazing two star hotel in the center of the city of Aveiro. The room was impeccably clean with a very light and good fragrance. It was a small but incredibly cosy room with all the amenities fully functional. The staff was super nice and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet was marvelous with pancakes, croissants, bread, fruit and plenty of good stuff. I would definitely come back!

the room is comfortable. has ample plug points, the head board has a shelf to put your bottle of water, phones etc. simple n clean room that caters to a traveller. Has places to hang damp towel. The staff accomodated a member of our family who has limited mobility. Gave us a key to get into the office area after hours, so she can have access to the elevator. for €5 euros, the breakfast was excellent.

Lovely staff who provided lots of information on arrival. The location is great - very close to the centre and the train station. The breakfast was good.

The room was very small and if I had been staying more than two nights might have annoyed me. The bathroom flooded from the shower quite easily too if the shower head just happened to be in the wrong place.

For some reason the reception closes at 20:00, but there is an emergency contact number. No proper desk in my room (Moilceiro), One of the mattresses was poor, spent uncomfortable nights. Parking is very difficult as you have to park in a public car park. Although it it is free one has to be lucky to find a free space and it is 5min walk from the hotel.

This little hotel is great value for money! We were greeted by super friendly staff. We got offered a free upgrade to a bigger room and the room was really great! The beds were comfortable, the bathroom had a nice size. It is located very centrally (easy 10 min walk to the city center) but it is also kind of away from all the noise from the city center which we greatly appreciated. The breakfast was 5 star, really good!

The downside was that there is no parking. However, the hotel is right in front of the central market which has underground parking. We paid 4 euros for overnight parking which is really cheap for EU standards.

We didn’t reserve spot for breakfast, didn’t know we needed to. the morning breakfast people I think were substitutes almost didn’t let us pay for the breakfast & seemed a little stressed. The did let us have it finally. the boat tour which was discounted thru hotel wasn’t great- the leader barely spoke to the English speakers & spent all her time with the Portuguese guests☹️
