The breakfast was superb : from the place settings, the variety and freshness were wonderful. This hotel is a gem, with friendly, professional and efficient staff. We loved the fact that for four consecutive days our room was serviced by 12h00. The amenties provided was surprisingly more than one would expect of this two star hotel. The location is spot on!

Very spacious room with a large bathroom. Good air conditioning. Excellent (fast) wifi. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel is well-located just 5 minutes walk to the main area of restaurants etc. Parking is easy on the street (3 euros for the whole day).

Nothing really. Only the "world's slowest lift"!! But that's my own little joke. The lift is incredibly slow, but it's not an issue.

The hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. It really seems that the staff is caring and tries to do whatever it takes to complete the wishes, we are thankful for that. The location is great, near to everything in the historical center, but the hotel is hidden between the small cosy roads, so there is no noise from busy streets. The breakfast is good, although I would appreciate some vegetables, because there were none. The freshly squeezed orange juice was awesome and both the coffee and the fruits were good. We made use of the hotel umbrellas every day, thank you.

We loved the location of this hotel. It was in walking distance to many many stores and restaurants.

The only thing we didn’t like about this hotel is that you only had two spaces for free parking. Everywhere else you had to pay to park sometimes very far from the hotel.

The hotel is located nearby the city centre in a very quiet area. The atmosphere inside the hotel is nice, comfortable and the hotel staff (all of them) are always willing to help you, specially Maria,one of the most smiling and professional recepcionst we've ever dealt with. It's a highly recommendable place.

THE best breakfast we had while staying at various hotels in Portugal, fantastic. The staff were so friendly and helpful too, sorting a taxi in the morning and explaining all things to do in the area. Location is excellent, and it was lovely and quiet. Very clean throughout too. Would definitely stay again if back in the area.

I stayed here in part because of the rave breakfast reviews and it didn't disappoint! It's a continental breakfast, but everything is fresh, the coffee machine is great, and there is fresh squeezed orange juice, as well as eggs as you like.

This lovely boutique hotel is stunning with its decor and attention to detail. Located a block away from the canal, it is close to restaurants and shopping. The staff is very helpful and prompt in returning messages. The breakfast was excellent.

I liked the location. Very central. I also liked breakfast. Freshly squeezed orange juice and pancakes machine. I would definitely stay there again.

The lift was creepy.

Breakfast had a good variety of items. Children particularly loved the pancake maker! Convenient walk to sites we wanted to see.

Our room was next to the lift so it did disturb us at times.
