Nice location on the edge of town with easy parking and views. Comfortable room. There's nice outdoor pool, although the weather was too cold to give it a try.

The breakfast was quite minimal. This hotel (with a different name in those days) used to have an excellent restaurant. It's a pity that isn't working any more.

The room was bigger than expected & had good facilities with a lovely view of the surrounding hily countryside. Bar with good lounge area, with helpful member of staff. Breakfast was plentiful & good.

Pool was out of use, but a bit chilly for an outside dip in May anyway!

exceptionally clean, super friendly staff. close to the center of town without the hustle and bustle that comes along with it. pingo doce supermarket is nearby.

the bathroom was clean but a little run-down. too bad there is no longer a fridge in the room and the hotel restaurant is closed. coffee at breakfast was nothing like coffee.

Hotel Castelo de Vide has very good value for money. The hostel is very functional, well equipped and the staff very friendly and supportive. The room was comfortable and very clean. Location is not absolutely central but it's just a short walk from the main square, bus stop and some of the best restaurants in town. There are also sports facilities just around.

Very nice clean room with balcony overlooking the pool and views beyond the hotel. A Good location and a short walk into the main town.

Restaurant wasn’t open for evening meals. There was however a restaurant across the road we could eat in. There was no tea or coffee facilities available in the room. However there was a bar where you could get them.

Really good value for money. Easy parking and not far to walk to the centre. Nice view from the room. The swimming pool is small but didn't get overcrowded. Very good breakfast.

The girl at the reception was extremely friendly and made us feel at home. The bed and the room in general were really comfy and the view was great. The breakfast was good.

The insonorization was not so good, we could hear almost everything on the corridors.

Charming old hotel on a lovely location on walking distance from the town Centre. it feels like a grand hotel which has seen great events in it's lifetime. Amazing staff and large breakfast. Definitely worth it!

The hotel may feel a bit outdated to some, but it definitely has it's charms

Location, view, easy parking, comfortable bed, efficient a/c, enough power outlets for my toys, good breakfast, and a great price for high season.

Wi-Fi is weak and without any protection, and doesn’t work in the breakfast room.

Katharina at the reception desk was very welcoming and helpful. The pool was refreshing and the area nice and warm in the afternoon sun. Breakfast self-service had many choices hot and cold, including variety of coffees from the machine. The location was great, plenty of parking, an easy walk to the main square and castle.
