the resort was very beautiful, food was quite good

unclear if intentional or not, but there is no clear policy on allowing kids to the inside pool (not on booking or the venue's website) - the only mentioning that their access was restricted happened after the payment was made. this shouldn't be an issue if the weather is warm but we visited in October and the water of the outside pool was quite cold most of the days; we reached a compromise with the manager to go to the inside pool only between certain hours.

There was two moments in the hotel: the one until Sunday morning due to a lot of children and after Sunday morning. We have been in the hotel during the October/November school break with a lot of children and, therefore, very noise and unpleasant. When we book this hotel, we are aim for quietness. It was not the case until Sunday morning (3rd November). After that it was very quiet and peaceful meeting the expectations for a Wellness Boutique Hotel

absolutely everything was beautifully designed and well thought out. we loved the sustainable ethos, whilst still being super stylish. the staff were amazing - travelling with a toddler isn’t easy and they were so friendly and thoughtful with little touches to make us more comfortable. the food in the restaurant was delicious, and the breakfast was a delight every morning.

could not fault the property. the only thing is it’s a fair distance to the beach or Comporta, and there isn’t much to do in the town in “off season”. we enjoyed hiring the e-bikes, but with a small child it is difficult - would recommend families with small children to rent a car, or at least bring the relevant car seat to avoid costly taxi transfers.

All very relaxing. Food good, not great & pricy. Best light sunny rooms are looking towards the pool. Especially enjoyed exploring on electric bikes. Lovely indoor/ outdoor pool and spa. Good restaurant nearby called Sal on the coast. You need a car, v little taxi availability. Highly recommmend restaurant in Comporta called Mesa, superb.

Slightly chaotic but charming restaurant staff, some fantastic like the manager & more experienced staff, but some with little experience, understanding & struggled with language but always lovely and smiley.

The swimming pool was fantastic. Lovely and helpful staff. The spa was excellent. The gym was very well equiped. And the bathtub was amazing, good size.

Overly priced restaurant. The food was good, but the menu options was too short and the prices absurd.

Beautiful Hotel in a very nice location. Rooms are beautifully done/decorated. Although it is a large hotel with multple rooms, but it didn't feel too busy and crowded. Very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely swimming pool, and wellness area.

Service at the restaurant! it was chaotic. We and many other tables had to wait for more than 1.5 hour to receive our food! The restaurant and hotel wasn't fully booked and seemed like there were many waiters present but the whole process was literally chaotic. While patiently waiting for our food to arrive, we had to ask for bread 5 time, which we never received. After finally finishing our food (2 hours after we sat down), the bill was completely wrong, 4 extra items were added and had to be taken out (the overall bill went down by 30%!!). The manager spoke to us afterwards and was very apologetic which we really appreciated it and made up for the situation. However, overall for such a high end /expensive hotel, one expects a high standard service, but it was unfortunately far from it.

I honestly couldn’t say anything more than I already have. This property is AMAZING and I’ve never met such sweet and accommodating staff. Truly, the hospitality in Portugal is unlike any other country. The food options on site have a wide variety and reasonably priced. Loved that breakfast is included. Spa was a great touch and took advantage of that. Spa was reasonably priced too for a 50 min massage (I got the relaxation massage; highly recommend). I took Pilates at 9am and it was a great touch. I’ve never done it before and the instructor was very descriptive and gave various options of difficulty in case someone couldn’t complete an exercise. She was great also recommend.

Beautiful hotel very well integrated with nature. Very big sized and extremely comfortable room. Some drinks and chocolates included in the price. Many available activities. Great electric bikes. Close to the beach and rice fields. Great breakfast.

We stayed for dinner once and it did not go well. Too many mistakes (fish not cooked enough, starters arriving after main dish, port wine served in broken glass, etc). Dinner was really the only negative aspect.

Amazing location and facilities my brand new hotel. Very stylish decor.

The staff needs training. They made a number of mistakes during our stay: got the time of our dinner reservation wrong, forgot to send for our bags and couldn’t give us directions to the nearby tourist attraction. Half of them don’t understand Portuguese!! I understand the hotel attracts international visitors, but not speaking Portuguese is absurd.

location, accommodation, spa facilities and staff were wonderful.

some of the larger furniture, ie sofas, were too deep to sit comfortably. it was very difficult to get a good constant temperature in the shower, pressure wasn’t great. the restaurant lunch and dinner menu, which was the same, was not 5 star quality and therefore very overpriced. breakfast was excellent. there was a set meal with estrela option which no one mentioned until our last night, when we had had a larger lunch while out exploring
