I loved the property. I liked the pools. I liked the proximity to the beach I liked the restaurants I likes the staff

I didn’t like the fact that there’s no help from the hotel to transport luggage to the Marina! At least a motorized Golf cart to carry luggage to the Pier. This is the first time for me, staying in a resort without any type of motorized scooter or Golf cart to help passengers with their luggage. Totally unacceptable. The days we were there were rainy days, it rained every night and we had to walk with luggage in the rain to the Marina and the Pier! This is totally unacceptable! You don’t have to pay a driver to do that all day, what you need is to have a motorized Cart stationed at the hotel that anyone can drive when necessary to carry the guests and their luggage. Please consider that for the future!

I had a great stay, the room was amazing and huge! Wasn't expecting so much space. The view was also a plus, and the hotel itself is beautiful. But my minibar wasn't working, the telephone in the room wasn't working and the air conditioner (even if it's a climatizer) was so mild I hardly even felt it. Everything else was awesome :)

apartment had alot of sand on the floor when we arrived the dinner was fine but overly priced.

The view from the room on the 14th floor was amazing!

Room is overpriced and need some repairs. Examples: Poor air conditioning, space between floor tiles, outdated bathrooms, zzz

This property is in need of upgrade and maintenance. All the plants and surroundings are dying without water or care. The staff are working hard, but there is not enough staff on duty. If you need help, you need to line up and wait a while. The management needs to support the facility better for such a busy summer.

The location, while Troia is already small on itself, it is very close to main attractions and to one of the best beaches. The room is nice and clean. The pools are good. The breakfast is also good.

The staff that received us felt a bit condescending and not really a nice welcome to the hotel. The fact that there was no couple bed and only twin beds is a bit annoying. There seems to be a lack of maintenance that would say that for a 4 star hotel would not be something to expect. There's a restaurant on the hotel which is a passible Italian restaurant but I would wonder that for a long stay is a wrong choice for the hotel restaurant in Portugal.

Overall, staff were very friendly and polite. The rooms are very spacious and the cleaning was exellent.

The property is getting a little tired. I stayed there 3 times over the course of a month in three different rooms. In the first two rooms, there was no working plug in the bath and the bath, which had begun to rust, was painted over. The refrigerator in the 3rd room was not working. In the Gymnasium, 3 of the 4 machines were out of service, as was the sauna and turkish bath (although this appeared to be a policy decision). Breakfast was good; but dinner was expensive at 35 EUR for a buffet. On 3 out for 4 occasions, the bar had run out of Coca Cola!

The location near the beach is pleasant… and weren’t too far from the Marina

There isn’t a huge deal of character to the building . You CAN NOT charge people 400 EUROS! For a one night stay an not have the room Ready ! An hour an half … AFTER Check in … only then was the room ready… so disappointing. So very disappointing
