The location is excellent and the facilities are exactly right for a weekend / long weekend stay. Reception is in a different building but works out ok. It's the third tome we stay here.

The gueshouse could do with some maintenance, like a coat of painting on the walls, replacing some decoration which is falling off. But the main point of improvement is breakfast organization, the current way they do it is uncomfortable in our view: an employee serves breakfast but since it's in aopen space kitchen you are actually very close to every breakfast item, but can̈not serve yourself, you need to wait...you need to explain everthing, how many slices of cheese or ham on the toast, how many croissants etc..it really looks like they are counting food so nobody gets away with am extra slice of something. This is awkward, from a guesthouse that has a common area for guests, where you cam even cook yourself.

This is in a great location, right on the ocean. You can hear the waves and the wind all the time. Great restaurants and services in the neighbourhood. Apartments are very compact. We were on the Camino and it’s a little off the path but the seaside location and the great breakfast makes it worthwhile.

What made it exceptional was the brilliant yet unassuming young woman serving breakfast and apparently doing all the room cleaning. With a command of 4 languages and a Master’s degree, she was so warm and congenial, telling me about her home and travels.

When I showed up at the announced time the place was locked up and apparently unattended. I had to walk back to a local restaurant & find someone to call the facility to check me in

The roof terrace is just stunning. The staff were so helpful, friendly and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable. Excellent shower pressure! For the price the breakfast was very good indéed.

Tiny tiny fault. There was a leak in the shower head. Lamps on bedside tables would be nice but these are tiny criticisms. We loved it and will definitely recommend to others.

Location is separated from beach only by broad paved area, with good cafes and restaurants near, especially Manjar da Praia that offers an excellent dinner for pilgrims. Right on Coastal Route too. Breakfast dining area on top floor with really good coastal views.

Breakfast starts at 8.30am which may be a bit late for pilgrims who start the walking day earlier. But it's within 8kms of Esposenda and good breakfast options there. Look out for Maristas Pastelaria - great pastries and really good coffee.

Breakfast set up is not ideal. One person serving a crowd is not efficient. Asked for a coffee while I wait for 10 other people to be served breakfast ahead of me and was told I had to wait. A self serve coffee station would be much appreciated. Lots of noise from neighbouring rooms.

We stopped in Apulia while walking the Portuguese Camino. This guesthouse was ideally situated, particularly with the sea views from the common area! It was clean and comfortable and we appreciated the lovely breakfast before heading off the following morning. The staff were communicative and helpful before and during.

Beautiful property, accessible from Camino, with great restaurants, and friendly local markets nearby. Deborah managed the breakfast room and was incredible! She greeted everyone individually, and even made sure she understood their food sensitivities. Fantastic above and beyond!

This property was the most expensive for a small town. Food, comfort, staff and location were all great but I got that in most locations for a lower price. It might be because the property is run by a property management company.

great location with the upstairs communal kitchen, dining area, and patio overlooking the ocean which provides a great option for self catering. there’s a fruit market, fish market, bakery, butcher, and small grocery store all together just a street away. whilst the room was a little small it was clean and comfortable with a nice patio overlooking the town and hills.
