Excellent location with very helpful and kind staff. 5mins walk from bus terminals and 8mins from train station. Well kept rooms with extended tv channels in four languages. Cosy communal room with vending machines, microwave, fridge and a mini library. I do highly appreciate every effort of improvement and as a loyal guest, keep coming back. See you next year :)

This is a great location , 5 minute walk to the train or bus ,and 7 - 8 euro taxi to the airport . The room was older but clean and beautiful lady at the front desk was very nice.

The internet was not very good and the room was not particularly quiet(street noise). ---- If a property advertises that it has internet it should work . They must understand that some of us make our living on-line and book properties that offer good internet service.

If you have mobility issues or are elderly, be aware that there are stairs, which can pose a significant challenge. Additionally, noise can be a problem, often stemming from other guests, which may disrupt your sleep.

Everything was great, just as expected, including location (within walking distance to docks, marina, restaurants, bus station, train station. Very central location only seconds away from the shops in the town centre, 5 minute walk from the bus station, 10 from the train station. Nice comfortable double bed.

Biggest issue was the reasonably steep stairs that you need to climb to access the hotel. There are handrails available but if problems with bending knees there could be an issue. In the room the toilet(WC) was sited at a funny angle in the toiletso not hte most comfortable to use. The shower was fine apart from the poor showerhead so not much power available but temp easily changable.

The staff were on the property, not always obvious but available. Staff member Johnny was on duty when I arrived. He was friendly and very helpful. He carried my bag upstairs for me The building is pretty and I loved the balcony. I could get my washing dry and enjoy being outdoors. It was quiet at night and although the doors to the balcony didn’t lock, nor even close properly I felt safe

The tea making system was exceptionally inconvenient. The shower water was never hot. The wifi connection was intermittent. It was very difficult to find the building. It is in the street opposite the war memorial cenotaph and opposite Namastey restaurant.

Perfect as bus station Rodoviaria (line 16 both to Faro's beach and airport in 20 mins time) and Porta do Mar (where you can take ferries) are at less than 7 mins walking. - Moreover, area with plenty of restaurants and good tapas bars and small mercados. The Old town is close too. - room: Air conditioning, spacious room (twin) and bathroom. - Super Kind staff: - Rest room with microwave at disposal if needed. - Luggage keeping if too early to check in (check in is at 3 pm). If you cannot walk please be aware that the facility has no elevator. A fridge inside the room would be beneficial (they have a small shared one at floor 2 that one could use though). Old style room furniture might need renovating (door in particular) but everything is functional and as expected. Again i will come back. Muito obrigada. Faro is amazing!

Location was excellent - 10 minutes form the train station and close to all the sights (museums and churches); shops; marina; restaurants; supermarket and coffee places. Double bed was perfect for one person, very comfortable and a wonderful pillow; air con and heating; hot water for the shower. All very clean. Staff were very friendly.

A bit noisy as the bar across the road closed at about 1 or 2am, lots of people talking.

The description of the property and most of the reviews that we read matched up with the experience. We were only there for one night (useful 24hr reception) and as we had a lunchtime train to catch, we only had time for a quick walkaround to check out a few of the nearby attractions. Definitely worth spending a couple of days there to view the attractions in more detail. The area around our hotel was busy at night with mainly the younger set. Visited a couple of nearby bars and had a nice relaxing drink. On arrival at the hotel we asked the chap on reception whether there was a map to purchase. There wasn't but he gave us a spare map that he found in the little lounge area. Also I contacted them a day or so later to find out whether I had left a bag there which contained a few pairs of shorts. They checked with the staff and reported back that they hadn't found anything (as it happened I had left the bag and shorts at home). All in all a great experience and excellent value for money. We would definitely stay there again.

great location in the center right next to the marina. Close to everywhere to shops restaurants and bars etc. Close to the bus to the airport, but Uber costs 6 € so you can forget about the bus.

Overall, the hotel is getting old and it shows. Could use more sockets in the rooms but ok. However, the biggest disadvantage and at the same time the advantage is the location. It's very noisy from the street at night. Practically the noise is until 4-5 in the morning. Also, if someone likes to sleep, look for something more distant from all these bars. On the other hand, if you're into partying, there's no better place.
