Food was absolutely amazing! Dinner buffet was different every day and there were so many options. Breakfast buffet was also fabulous (and had some sparkling wine to start the day...). Food was definitely a highlight for me. Service was great, too! Everyone was very helpful and polite and we had some compliments like pasteis de nata or chocolates when we cam back to the room every day.

One thing that I wasn't happy about was the fact you should still pay ~20 eur for sunbeds on the beach right in front of the hotel. And just generally (this is not for the hotel), Lagos is pretty shabby...

Good location. Easy to get to Lagos and even drove to portimao and ferrugado. Rooms are slightly larger than what the picture looks like. Pools are nice.

Buffet dinner lacked abit. Not enough variety. It was fine for us as we had a baby with us but for couples without a baby I would suggest eating in Lagos where there are some good restaurants. Also we paid for the buffet each night and they didn't make it clear we would get a better price if we just booked it via reception which was very annoying. Also they are stingy on coffee pods and don't replenish them which you'd expect for a 5 star hotel.

The food was outstanding, and the staff was incredibly attentive, providing service on par with a five-star establishment, truly enhancing the overall value of our stay. We also enjoyed a high-quality massage (we highly recommend Karen). The evening entertainment was delightful, with the elegant performances of Fado and traditional dancing standing out as our favorites. Sophia who was hosting the evening entertainments made everyone feel inclusive and welcomed and definitely made the evenings even more enjoyable.

We found it a bit strange that for 5 nights for 2 people we received only 4 coffee pods. The additional 4 pods were subject to a fee of (I think) €6. Not that the guests cannot afford it but it's really unusual and overpriced. I don't think it will cost the hotel much to add extra pods but will definitely look better. While we enjoyed the magic show, it was highly disturbing to watch the use of birds for magic tricks. It is really disappointing that the hotel that tries to be progressive, allows this.

Fantastic breakfast. The staff in the Star Camp were brilliant. Rooms very comfortable and cleaned to a high standard. All staff were very polite & professional.

The reception needs addressing. There’s no information about any activity in the area of Lagos - ie boat trips, bike hire etc. I think this is an area for improvement. I was directed to the internet to find out but nobody needs to be told to use the internet!!! I would assume they had deals in place with different places of attraction and activities.

Location pretty good Room was large and lovely. Great shower. Comfy beds. Excellent breakfast for all. Great pool area Great beach side cafes across the road recommended.

Poor room lighting, can't see a thing for make up girls..... Taxis needed for lagos €15 return as a heads up. Aqua aerobics.... Seriously not needed for a luxury stay. Noisy and annoying when relaxing by the pool. Food is expensive in the snack bar and poor service. Only one staff female member was any good and polite. Only do bed and breakfast, better outside restaurants in lagos and local area Elderly will struggle at this hotel, poor lifts and very bad paving around the pool, many trips and falls so beware. Missing a shop nearby... Only 4 complimentary coffee capsules.... They charge for literally everything...even ice was €7 delivery charge to room.... Madness....

Staff was incredibly helpful with booking tours for us and restaurant recommendations. Amazing breakfast. Beautiful property and the beach is 5min walk. Large modern rooms. Relaxing environment.

The door did not close properly (really needed to slam it shut which the cleaning staff did not do). Our door was always able to be pushed open when we got back in… huge security issue. We mentioned it to the front desk and cleaning staff but nothing changed.

The breakfast was exceptional with a huge variety to select form everyday.

We stayed here for 4 days 3 nights, and wish we stayed longer! The hotel was amazing! Very luxurious feel and very family-friendly! Initially we only booked to have it with breakfast included, but upon arrival, decided to upgrade to the all-inclusive package instead and very happy we did. The hotel is beachfront, though you still need to walk a little to get to the beach, and there's not much in the surrounding area, so the all-inclusive is great if you don't want to have to think about where to get your food. The hotel offers lots of options and food is delicious, so I'd say the all-inclusive is well worth going for. Location is not right in the centre, so the hotel is more quiet, but it offers lots of facilities and even a shuttle bus to the city centre of Lagos. All of the staff were so friendly and kind. My daughter (4 y.o.) LOVED the kids club with Jo, Sophia, Katarina and Kristiana - these ladies are so great with kids and they do fun activities like painting, games, etc. The kids club is located right by a kids & adult pool, so its great for parents to relax while still being able to be close by. Waitstaff is also great and will do their best to serve you. Overall we loved our experience here and highly recommend for a nice, relaxing holiday!
